The Kindred Mayflower nursery team is passionate about sparking children’s imagination, creativity and curiosity.

This is why here at Kindred Mayflower they use natural and real life resources to enhance children’s imagination through play.

The nursery has five rooms and two outside garden spaces along with a free flow classroom.
Their gardens consist of soft grass play surfacing, built in sand pits, a track to ride bikes and cars and planting areas.

They are all about creating inspiring experiences and environments that are full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in.

Staff also understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful
relationships with parents so they never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of each and every one of their child’s developmental and learning moments.

The staff at Kindred Mayflower are fantastic.
I feel happy knowing my child has a lovely day down to the warmness of the staff.
The staff will personally tell you what your child has done that day, and when they mention things my child has said or done that day or their little quirks or funny things
they say, it's reassuring that they really know my child!
My son also loves all the home-cooked food and snacks and is always asking for seconds!
Thanks to everyone for their hard work; it's greatly appreciated.

Kindred Mayflower is a great nursery, my son has been there for five months and loves it. I couldn't speak more highly of the staff for making him feel so welcome and he runs in for a cuddle every day! Four members of staff particularly are amazing. Thank You everyone.

I would highly recommend Kindred Mayflower nursery. My 1 year old attends this nursery 2 days a week, and although he still is fairly new I am noticing the positive impact this is making already to him.


The staff are always friendly and welcoming, I know when he's there he is well looked after by

the girls, and well fed (cook on site)! Also, the parent app they use is so good, I can see how he is doing throughout the day with updates and communicate with the staff so easily on the app.

My two nieces attend this setting and the care they have received since joining is amazing. They both have great relationships with the staff who do all they can to make them happy! I particularly like the online system being able to see daily updates and how they are developing, their key workers have

Amazing nursery. Our son has been with Kindred since he was 2 and attends the Mayflower branch. All the staff are friendly, the nursery is always clean and tidy. Our boy can sometimes be a handful but all the staff have always been able to manage. We have no concerns and highly recommend.

The team work incredibly hard and my child is very happy in this setting. It does feel more recently that there are a few staff shortages, but hopefully, this is a temporary blip. I'd like to see a return to the individual learning journeys that were published almost daily at one point. Reading how

Amazing nursery and very friendly welcoming staff. My nearly four year old daughter has loved each day of the nursery since she started last August. She loves the staff and the hugs she gets from them. She loves the huge outdoor play area and is encouraged to make friends. The best thing about the nursery
is the always smiling, warm and kind staff. They look after the children's well being and are great in observing and communicating how the child's day was. I highly recommend this nursery if you are looking for a space.

Our son has thrived since attending Kindred Mayflower; the staff have a visible love and passion for children and every member of staff knows your child’s name. So much thought seems to go in for the weekly themes and everything is centred around bringing out the best in your child.
Our son adores
dinosaurs and the recent dinosaur week was a hit. The staff welcome you to participate but uploading pictures of activities you do at home, bringing books in to share with friends and they invite you to tell them what your child is into, so they can adapt learning around that subject, to keep your child engaged.
Kindred Mayflower is a special place that leaves us feeling at ease knowing our son is being looked after and having endless fun and learning at the same time. The staff are always so helpful and friendly, taking the time to remember who you are and who your child is - a great quality.
Will continue to recommend.

My baby boy loves the staff at the nursery, he has settled so well in the baby room and enjoys coming each week especially his cuddles! He is slowly starting to relax more each week and this is thanks to the staff, he is always approached by all other staff members that are not in the baby room when

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and my child loves coming here. Our son started at Kindred Mayflower at nine months old. He’s now thirteen months old and even in such a short space of time, we have been amazed at the progress he’s made and the new skills he’s developed. The nursery offers so many lovely activities for him to experience. We were always a little anxious
about sending him from what felt like such a young age, however, we are so pleased that we did. Communication is excellent and we are so lucky to have such lovely staff caring for our son.

My little girl loves attending Kindred Mayflower. It is extremely well organised by management and all the child care professionals in my daughter's room are very friendly, professional and engage well especially on the days when drop-offs can be tricky. Staff in the room are consistent and listen and
take their time on drop-offs and provide a full update on her day on collection (as well as detailed notes on the nursery app) - and I have 100% confidence in the staff and leaving her there which is important to me.
My daughter is full of stories of all the activities they do in the room and learns a lot from attending - plus returns home with artwork etc. When my daughter first joined she took a while to settle as we switched nurseries but her keyworker ensured a smooth transition and really understood what she needed to feel comfortable there. I 100% recommend the nursery as it is an engaging/learning/nurturing setting and the staff really are amazing.

Our son has been going Kindred since he was 9 months old (nearly 4 years old now), and he runs into nursery very excited to see his teachers and friends. He leaves every day telling me about all the things he has learned and all the friends he has played with.
Our 1-year-old has just started and the
staff have been amazing. Very empathetic, incredibly encouraging and tirelessly enthusiastic. It is lovely seeing all staff smiling as they greet my children by their first names and seem to know so much about them. Each key worker really knows and understands our children, even their unique quirks and they never seem rushed to tell you about their day when you collect them.
The management and office staff are faultless. Very proactive and the communication is brilliant. Any request or concern we have had we have felt listened to and valued. It is lovely and reassuring knowing that our children are safe in a setting where they feel loved each day. I can't recommend Kindred highly enough.

My child adored attending this nursery and was always so excited to go in and see their friends and most importantly the staff. We believe the staff were one of the reasons our child was able to settle in so well to nursery and then to school. The nursery prepared them so well with different activities

My daughter attended the preschool and loved her time there. She particularly enjoyed all the outdoor activities they provided and is really happy that a lot of her nursery friends are now with her at school too so it made the transition a lot easier. I feel like through books and topics to do with
school they really prepared the children well.
I have many friends with children still attending the nursery and I hear them speak highly about all the fun they've had that day and the great communication between staff and parents, especially the online daily diaries and observations. Very cute and reassuring to see them having fun during the day.

I was very apprehensive about putting my son into nursery as he was originally looked after by my family while I was at work. When our circumstances changed we contacted Kindred Mayflower to discuss our childcare options and they instantly put me at ease and were extremely helpful. I had a lot of questions
and my son took a little while to settle, which was very normal, but a big transition for us both. The support from staff was (and still is) exceptional. My son is thriving, he looks forward to going to nursery and loves telling me about his day. He has grown in confidence and it's lovely to see. The staff are so supportive, helpful and kind and I feel so lucky to have found such a lovely place for him to learn and grow. I can't recommend it enough.

Hello, I'm Georgia, and I have worked in childcare since 2013.


I started at the age of 16 as an apprentice and soon completed my Level 2 and Level 3 in Early Years. I progressed further in my career into a Room Leader role and then stepped up into management, taking on the role of Deputy Manager and now Nursery Manager.


I have a passion for children's development by providing them with the best learning outcomes and building strong parent relationships. I also have a strong passion for welcoming new families into Kindred, ensuring both parents and children feel safe, comfortable and reassured.

Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager

Hi, I am Emma. I have worked in childcare since 2004. I started as a nursery practitioner and progressed to deputy nursery manager. I completed my Level 3 in college and have continued my professional development over the past couple of decades. I hold a Level 1 and 2 in British Sign Language, and I am currently working towards my Level 3 SENCO qualification. I hope to complete my Level 5 in Childcare in the future.
I am passionate about working with children and helping them all to reach their full potential. I feel all children deserve the care and attention to feel safe, secure and happy. I am very inclusive within my practice, and I am passionate about being able to communicate on several levels hence why I worked independently towards my BSL qualifications. Thus, in turn means I am passionate about building relationships with the children and their parents/carers to endure that not only the children safe and secure, but the parents do too. I love to share our nursery with new families and want the nursery to be a happy and fun place for our children to learn and develop their own personalities.
