The staff at Absolute Angels are so caring and compassionate, I knew my son would be well looked after. He did not want to go to nursery, but the staff worked with us to gradually settle him in. The nursery truly employ the Montessori approach as it was intended to be used, and my son absolutely loved all the materials and learnt so much in his year there. In just a year he grew in confidence so much and was eager to start school. What I love most about the nursery is that they really observe the child and follow their interests, using these as a basis for teaching so that the child becomes absorbed in learning. My son also learnt so many practical life skills that helped his independence blossom. The communication between staff and parents is excellent and I learnt so much through the talks given by the principal that are offered regularly to parents. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone.

Our son has attended Absolute Angels Montessori Nursery since he was just over 2 years old and we couldn't be happier with with it. We feel confident we are leaving him in a caring and happy environment that has a real family feel and genuine warmth. Unusually for nursery settings, almost all of the staff have had their own children and their experience shows. The children's independence is encouraged but within a structured and supportive routine so they learn a lot; both in terms of practical skills and wider general knowledge. The older and younger children all benefit from having the opportunity to mix together. Communication is easy and excellent. We love that the children are encouraged to play outside and that sometimes they also pay visits to the local park to play. Our son also attends another setting but his preference for Absolute Angels is clear. Every day he asks whether he is going to his 'Big School' today and when he is not he is disappointed. I think that is the best endorsement for a setting you can get.

I honestly don’t have enough words to say how much we as a family love Absolute Angels. My children have been going here since 2018. The care and attention to each child is so specific to what your child needs and they always go by how the child is feeling that day (more play, more colouring) so you know individually that they help every child so much. Both of my daughters thrive(d) in the nursery.
Every staff member is calming, patient, happy, loving and we’d have been lost without them.
No problem is too big or too small, the conversation to tell you how they’ve done that day at the door, the emails with constant helpful information, the reassurance that my most precious people are well looked after and happy is invaluable
My daughter has SEND and the staff has been a constant help and I know that she wouldn’t have settled as well without that extra care.

Thank you for everything

Absolute Angels is such a warm and caring nursery that you almost feel as though you are all part of a family. The teachers are highly professional and extremely loving and you know they have your child’s best interest at heart. The activities, both indoors and outdoors, are so imaginative and our little girl just loves them. When the nurseries were able to open again after lockdown you could see the growth and joy in her in the first week of being back. We truly could not be happier with this exceptional nursery.

My husband and I are really pleased we selected Absolute Angels for our daughter. They have been supportive since enrollment and always give us thorough updates on our daughter and her vast array of activities. Our daughter is thriving at Absolute Angels through all the different activities they do and my daughter particularly likes the yoga sessions and the kitchen skill sessions which are offered. The main thing for me is my daughter seems really happy to go and looks forward to her day ahead.

We had a bad experience at another nursery and were looking for a nursery to move to, and thank goodness we found Absolute Angels! Every single member of staff radiates warmth and caring, and have not only my child's best interests in mind but also my needs as her mother. As parents, we are made to feel very comfortable and well informed on all aspects of the nursery activities, rules, guidelines, etc, and I feel as if every member of staff cares for me and my daughter as part of the Absolute Angels community. This is not just another nursery, the Principal has truly created something very precious at Absolute Angels.

My son loves Absolute Angels. The staff and other children are very friendly -- he's made a lot of friends in a short time.

I'm amazed at how much he has been learning and the balance of outdoor play is excellent. I would highly recommend Absolute Angels.

Two of our three children attended Absolute Angels over the last 4 years and we can honestly say they have thrived and loved every minute of their time there. The team are professional, highly skilled and wonderfully empathetic with the children. It is so brilliant to see how their teaching and encouragement paired with the Montessori methods provide the children with the opportunity to become so independent and confident. We will miss the team at Angels hugely but are incredibly thankful for the brilliant start to education they have provided our children.

The Montessori approach has definitely benefited my two girls who have attended this nursery. They have thrived on the range of activities offered and the independence they have been given to complete each task. One to one support and guidance is readily available for the children, and both of them have engaged as enjoyed this attention. The staff are highly knowledgeable and are fantastic with the children and parents. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

We have had such a positive experience at Absolute Angels and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an outstanding nursery.
The nursery teachers and manager are incredibly helpful. They are calm and nurturing, and have great
relationships with children. They do genuinely care.

The nursery itself is excellent in terms of providing a learning environment that is safe and rich. There is a wide range of Montessori equipment on offer to make learning more ‘hands on’. There is also various activities that take place; from baking to gardening, from yoga to dancing. There is so much to do and the children seem always busy and happy. Within all this business, there is always a sense of calm, which is quite remarkable.

My son loves going to Absolute Angels, just like his older brother did. I am sure this positive experience will have long lasting effects on his future emotional and intellectual development.

My little boy has been attending Absolute Angels for over a year now and he has continued to thrive and grow. He has made friends and the Montessori style has enhanced his learning and suits him well as an individual. The support from the staff is great when navigating developmental leaps providing a great symbiotic relationships for parents too. Could not be happier we chose this early learning pathway for our little boy.

This is an amazing nursery with wonderful staff! They have gone above and beyond for my little boy who has Cerebral Palsy. From arranging additional 1 to 1 care for him, to making a picture book for him to help develop his speech, to meeting with physio and speech therapists, to a welcoming smile on the door each morning.

They really care about the children they work with each day. Sending my son to this nursery is giving him the best educational start. I'm excited to see what else he will learn there and to see him making new relationships with the other children there. Thank you for all of your support!

I couldn't ask for a better place for my little boy. He has been attending Absolute Angels since he was 2. He is now 4 and his development since then blows me away. He will definitely be prepared for primary school next September. He has so much fun and really looks forward to going. I couldn't recommend enough.

My son has been attending Absolute Angels since September 2018.
It is a wonderful nursery and I have seen his confidence grow significantly in the last few months. The Montessori approach is fantastic and his independence has improved dramatically. He is keen to do things for himself, such as dressing and undressing, drinking from a proper cup, using spoons and pouring etc.

The staff are friendly, kind and I leave him confidently knowing he’ll have a lovely time!

My daughter was reluctant to go to the day nursery initially and cried when she was taken there but her key worker, and everyone else, was extremely kind to her and within minutes was interacting with others. This continued for the first few times but she soon became happy to go to 'school'. I find the information that is published on their website to be very useful and the photographs and commentary regarding what she has been doing that week, really good. There has been a one-on-one parent / key worker meeting, which was really good and answered a lot of things that we were wondering about. There was also a meeting with the Principal, in which she explained the philosophy the school follows in their learning methods, which was very informative and certainly increased my understanding of what my little one is going through. I am confident that, whilst she doesn't come home and tell us what she has been doing, that she is taking it all in. My daughter is growing nicely as a person.

I have sent all three of my children to Absolute Angels and can not recommend them enough. The staff care for the children in an environment that nurtures them at their own pace and in areas the child expresses interest in. My children come home happy and confident and always speak fondly of their teachers. There is a warm and homely atmosphere that makes the child feel safe. I love that I found this nursery for my children and feel very lucky to have been able to start their education in such a gentle and caring setting.

My 2 children went to Absolute Angels from 2 years of age until they started school. The level of care and attention the staff show to the children is exceptional. They know them all incredibly well and use that knowledge to help each individual child to learn and develop in the best way for them. It is a truly tailored nursery experience. Both my children loved their time at "Angels" and still have strong memories of their time there. They both left very well placed to start their learning journey at primary school.

Sarah Rowledge

Diploma, EYP, QTS, Montessori Schools Association (MSA)

After a wide ranging career that spanned fashion and entertainment, as soon as I came in to contact with Montessori education, I was hooked. By April 1999, I first opened the doors of Absolute Angels to children and subsequently we have created pre Nursery Little Treasure Classes & Baby Massage courses in Coggeshall.

I have felt incredibly privileged to witness the amazing development of the many, many children who have attended Absolute Angels.

In recognition of almost 20 years dedication to early years and primary education, unerring peer support across the country, and simple exemplary practice, I received the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to the Montessori Community Award in March 2018.

Over the years I have also trained and continue to do so, hundreds of Montessori practitioners through our training company Hands On Learning both in early years and primary Montessori training courses.

Carole Burr Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2004
Carole Burr

Montessori International Diploma.

I followed in the footsteps of my two sons, who both came to Absolute Angels before I did. (They are now 23 and 21.)

When I first started working at the Nursery, I didn’t really intend to do any training, but I was so fascinated by the Montessori approach to education that I decided to find out more.

I was awarded my Early Childhood Teaching Diploma in June 2008. I have worked here for sixteen years, and have been Nursery Manager for eight.

Although I enjoy my mainly office-based job, I love getting the chance to spend time in the classroom with the children.

Key Worker

My two children attended Absolute Angels from two years of age, and ever since, I have had an interest in the Montessori philosophy.

I decided to train in 2014 and obtained my level 2 Montessori Foundation certificate and joined the team in the same year. In 2019 I joined the Level 4 Montessori scheme which I hope to complete in December this year.

Working at Absolute Angels is always inspiring and fun, and the children teach us something new every day.

Montessori Level 4 Qualification

I joined Absolute Angels in 2018 having previously worked in another Montessori Nursery Setting. I have a real passion for Montessori and have a Level 4 qualification. As well as working in the Angels team I also help with School’s Out both in term time and running the holiday clubs.

Katie Arnbold Job Title: Nursery Adminstrator Joined: 2016
Katie Arnbold

Katie works alongside Carole in the office three days a week.

I first became interested in the Montessori philosophy when I was fortunate enough to undertake my work experience at Absolute Angels during its first year of opening. During this time I was amazed at how effective the methods were, and enjoyed seeing the children in a classroom that let them be free to succeed and learn without restriction or criticism.

When I left school I stayed within the learning and development field, working as a Training Manager for the Probation Service for many years. However, I always hoped that one day I would be able to have a career that involved Montessori teaching in some way.

When a job came up at Absolute Angels in 2016, I applied straight away and was fortunate enough to start working in new my position in August 2016. My main role is in the office, supporting the Nursery Manager with the day to day running of the nursery. I also help in the classroom with the children, as well as running the breakfast club and School’s Out After School and Holiday Clubs. I love the variety my role brings and enjoy the interaction with the children every day.

I completed my Level 2 Montessori Early Years Classroom Assistant qualification in May 2017.

Fiona Golding Job Title: Bursar Joined: 2009

I have been acting in the role of Bursar for Absolute Angels Nursery for over 10 years. I enjoy being part of the team and helping with the continual success of the growing business.

Both my sons attended Absolute Angels Nursery and it really is such a happy, positive and enthusiastic place both for staff and all the children.
