Meadow View Day Nursery is a well-established purpose-built nursery, with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

There are four rooms which offer a stimulating and interactive environment and are divided into four different age groups.

Each room team has carefully planned routines to ensure that the needs of each individual child are met and exceeded.

The rooms have access to a lovely, landscaped garden with one area for children who are under two and the other which caters for older children. Each garden is well-equipped and tailored for the age range of the children with lawned areas, sandpits, mud kitchens and, for the older children, climbing equipment and a playhouse.

The nursery also has a dedicated Eco-Garden which all the children use in small groups to support learning about the environment and the world around them. Meadow View also offer the extracurricular activity of Tiny Mites who change their days to ensure all children have access to her.

There is a strong partnership with parents and as well as a Parent Partnership forum, there are regular events such as parent’s evenings and first aid training, together with fundraising activities for the nursery's adopted charity.

The children also have the opportunity to go on walks to the park and the local area, with visits to a local Care Home, which the children and residents thoroughly enjoy.

Meadow View has a strong community focus and being one of Childbase’s smaller nurseries, the caring and dedicated team give the nursery a real family feel.

My grandson loves coming to meadow view, everytime we see him he has learnt a new word or sign language which is very impressive as he isn’t even 2!


He brings pictures home for his mum and dad and we get one too as grandparents which makes us feel special too.


It’s so nice for us to know that

the nursery team care for him so well.

My son was 5 months old when he joined the Caterpillar team where he was wonderfully looked after by his key worker.
He then moved to Ladybirds and adapted very well as he had already made some friends and started showing interest in lots of activities.
Finally, he arrived in the Bumblebees team in
August where it took him more time to settle in but he seems very happy now.
The nursery nurse has been a great nurse with him, always caring, patient and available to talk and give advice. We will miss her a lot.
The blog has also been very useful to follow his development and we can tell that he has become a very happy, sociable and curious child.
My only regret is that there was no option to adapt the nursery fees when my son was on holidays (which amounts to more than 5 months altogether).
But we will miss the place and the staff and hope to keep in touch.

My son has attended Meadow View since he was a tiny baby (eight weeks). The love, care and attention all the staff gave both him, me and my wife on our journey right the way through to when he left to go to school was outstanding.
They all seem to know what he had been up to and could sum his personality
up very well. We have never had to question the standards of the nursery and truly would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nursery.
The welcome you receive from the team at the desk is of a very high level, very professional but friendly and will often have a laugh. They also greeted my child independently and said bye every day knowing special events in our son's life. You will be missed, we will pop in to visit.

Meadow View is a wonderful nursery with a very caring, dedicated team.
The staff are always friendly, very approachable and extremely professional.
My Granddaughter and Grandson both attend Meadow View every day.
I have visited and collected them on a number of occasions and I have always found the
nursery to have a lovely welcoming atmosphere.
It's very clean and all facilities are fantastic, especially the classrooms to suit each age group and the outside play area which the staff have recently put a garden in for the children to look after.
I would highly recommend Meadow View to all my family and friends.

Both of our boys have gone to Meadow View from the age of 2 until they started school. The care they received is incredible - I felt so happy leaving them there even on the days when they didn't want me to go - I knew it wouldn't be long before they were fine having been assured by the brilliant friendly
staff.


I am sad to have reached the end of our time at Meadow View but am grateful at how well prepared the boys are/were for school - so thank you all.


The atmosphere in the setting is always lovely and friendly - a great place for them to spend the day!


I am certain we will still pop in to say hi for a few years to come.

Meadow View is a fantastic nursery! The staff are all extremely friendly, enthusiastic and caring. I receive detailed feedback each day about what my little ones have been up to. I also love the fact that I can login to the online portal and see photos and comments about what they have been doing at
nursery & how their learning journey is progressing.


The facilities at Meadow View are great especially the outside space.


Meadow View has done a great job preparing my twins for school. I know they will be sad to leave in September!

This nursery is just outstanding. My children have both attended from 11 months old and my youngest leave in July. The confidence and development my children have is attributed to the wonderful staff and facility this nursery has. It will be a sad day when we leave here in July, but I want to thank

My daughter has been at Meadow View the last 4 years. Now the time has arrived to say goodbye as she starts school in September. Although an exciting time, this is also a sad time to be leaving Meadow View. The nursery has been such a caring, supporting and nurturing environment. We knew it would be
good because of the recommendations we got at the start... but it exceeded all my expectations. To all the staff...I cannot thank you enough for all your genuine care and support. We are really going to miss you all !!

My daughter really enjoyed her time here at Meadow View Day Nursery, but it will soon be time for her to leave to start primary school this September.


The staff here are really nice and work so hard.

My daughter has been attending this nursery now for around 6 months and she loves it. I feel very comfortable knowing she is happy and in safe hands there. She enjoys all the activities, she eats well and gets on with staff and children alike.


She has become more confident, her first speech skills

are developing lovely and she enjoys creative activities, music and dancing.


I get updates via a secure online portal where I can see photos of her and learn more about what she gets up to when there.


I have no hesitations in recommending this facility to all parents.

I cannot be more impressed by the standard of care by the whole team at this nursery. Sending your child to the nursery is a huge transition to take and with my child being my first one I felt wholly unprepared for the heightened emotions that come with it all. Meadow View has seemingly effortlessly
and naturally put me and my child at ease and made a potentially traumatic time a relaxed and happy one! He has settled in brilliantly and continues to develop and grow and is starting to look forward to coming now getting excited as we reach the doors and smiling. It is such a relief but is something I don't take for granted as being due to him feeling safe and secure in his environment which is down to everyone involved in his care. Thank you so much for your ongoing flexible approach and understanding. I could not be happier with the professionalism and enthusiasm I see every week I bring my child to nursery.

My son has had an amazing experience throughout his journey at Meadow View. He has bonded with all teachers and has made some lovely friends. My son leaves Meadow View this month which I am sad about, but we will keep in touch as my daughter joins this year. The staff have been amazing and we will miss

Danielle is the Manager of Meadow View Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for 23 years. Danielle is NVQ Level 3 qualified. Danielle has worked at Childbase Partnership for 7 years.


What is your favourite feature of your nursery?
My favourite feature of the nursery is how all rooms lead onto the garden and as it's one of our smaller nurseries I love how each room has a home-from-home feel.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of how well the team works together throughout the whole nursery, engaging with all children and providing a positive engaging environment for all the children in our care.
