Meadow View Day Nursery is a well-established purpose-built nursery, with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

There are four rooms which offer a stimulating and interactive environment and are divided into four different age groups.

Each room team has carefully planned routines to ensure that the needs of each individual child are met and exceeded.

The rooms have access to a lovely, landscaped garden with one area for children who are under two and the other which caters for older children. Each garden is well-equipped and tailored for the age range of the children with lawned areas, sandpits, mud kitchens and, for the older children, climbing equipment and a playhouse.

The nursery also has a dedicated Eco-Garden which all the children use in small groups to support learning about the environment and the world around them. Meadow View also offer the extracurricular activity of Tiny Mites who change their days to ensure all children have access to her.

There is a strong partnership with parents and as well as a Parent Partnership forum, there are regular events such as parent’s evenings and first aid training, together with fundraising activities for the nursery's adopted charity.

The children also have the opportunity to go on walks to the park and the local area, with visits to a local Care Home, which the children and residents thoroughly enjoy.

Meadow View has a strong community focus and being one of Childbase’s smaller nurseries, the caring and dedicated team give the nursery a real family feel.

Meadow View is one of nicest nurseries I know. They're always going above and beyond.
My 3 kiddies have all gone here and I would recommend them to anyone.

We can't quite believe that we won't be making those daily trips across to you from September, after six and a half years. We'd like to say a huge thank you for all the care, attention and love that has been given to both our children. We know they have both loved the time they've spent with you, growing
in confidence and developing their own little characters. It's so important in these earliest years to feel safe and encouraged and at Meadow View Day Nursery you've created this sense of extended family for our children which has meant we've not had to worry that they are receiving the very best care and attention every day. Thanks again for all you've done to help our little people to grow :)

Thank you to all the lovely staff past and present, for making my children's time at Meadow View so wonderful. It has been full of fun, laughter and love. Leaving your child in the care of strangers is such a difficult thing to do but we are so happy we chose Meadow View and now think of you more as
friends than strangers. My children have both grown and developed under your care, leaving you perfectly set up ready for their next adventure at school. Thank you so much. We will miss you.

Excellent care provided, we love getting the paper review of the day at the end. Staff are friendly and accommodating. My daughter loves coming here and asks to come even on days when she doesn't normally.

I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of the nursery - especially those directly involved in my sons care. He has been at Meadow View from 6 months and I have to say that I have been more than happy with not only his care but the flexibility of hours, days, additional sessions
etc that have meant there has been no disruption to my working days at all. The staff are a total credit at Meadow View from reception through to the top and I would hugely recommend this nursery for anyone seeking childcare.
I am really sad that my sons journey has come to an end. He has made some fantastic little friends and formed a great bond with all of the staff. This last year I have watched him change dramatically and his confidence and speech have been a direct result of the hard work of all the staff in the preschool room. It really is a credit to Meadow View when family and friends comment on how clever he is and how much he has learnt. Putting your child into full time childcare as a mum is always a scary experience but never have I left him at Meadow View and felt I was making the wrong choice for my son - in fact I am really sad he is leaving you all.

Danielle is the Manager of Meadow View Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for 23 years. Danielle is NVQ Level 3 qualified. Danielle has worked at Childbase Partnership for 7 years.


What is your favourite feature of your nursery?
My favourite feature of the nursery is how all rooms lead onto the garden and as it's one of our smaller nurseries I love how each room has a home-from-home feel.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of how well the team works together throughout the whole nursery, engaging with all children and providing a positive engaging environment for all the children in our care.
