Meadow View Day Nursery is a well-established purpose-built nursery, with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

There are four rooms which offer a stimulating and interactive environment and are divided into four different age groups.

Each room team has carefully planned routines to ensure that the needs of each individual child are met and exceeded.

The rooms have access to a lovely, landscaped garden with one area for children who are under two and the other which caters for older children. Each garden is well-equipped and tailored for the age range of the children with lawned areas, sandpits, mud kitchens and, for the older children, climbing equipment and a playhouse.

The nursery also has a dedicated Eco-Garden which all the children use in small groups to support learning about the environment and the world around them. Meadow View also offer the extracurricular activity of Tiny Mites who change their days to ensure all children have access to her.

There is a strong partnership with parents and as well as a Parent Partnership forum, there are regular events such as parent’s evenings and first aid training, together with fundraising activities for the nursery's adopted charity.

The children also have the opportunity to go on walks to the park and the local area, with visits to a local Care Home, which the children and residents thoroughly enjoy.

My son has left pre-school to go to reception and he still wants to come to Meadow View and say hello to his friends, especially one of his key person who is so warm-hearted. He stayed at Meadow View for a year before starting reception and this was an excellent transition so we could get used to the
routine.

Meadow View operates a professional, collaborative, fun and structured environment to which my son loves and is thriving. He always looks forward to going to preschool and playing with his many friends.
I receive updates, photos and news regularly and know my son is in great hands when he attends.
The nursery are inclusive and clearly operate at an exceptional level. Throughout COVID they reached out to keep in touch and support parents so well. I highly recommend Meadow View, a fantastic nursery.

My son starting nursery a few months ago now. As a parent, I was quite apprehensive about leaving my child in someone else's care, however, since his very first day I knew that he was in very safe hands. All the staff have been extremely supportive, friendly and helpful with this big step in my child's
life. I have noticed over the short time he has been going to nursery how much he has progressed and how much more confident he is especially after spending the first year of his life in lockdown. The staff are always there for advice and it is very reassuring to receive updates throughout the day via the parent app.

I wanted to leave this review to express how happy I am with Meadow View (Newport Pagnell), to help anyone out there deciding which nursery to send their child to. My little boy has been going since he was 9 months and now he is in Bumblebee room and is two and a half years old! I wanted to say I just
love that you are teaching my boy different stuff from what we do at home, like his full name. My favourite is you teach him different songs and he just comes out singing them at home and I love it so much, so thank you. He also comes home so happy at the end of the day, so I know he has had the best time with you all. Extra shout out to two members of staff in particular who take care of him he loves you both so much, plus a thank you to everyone else in Bumblebee too.
I just wanted to say again you guys are amazing and teaching my son different stuff than we do at home and I love it so thank you so, so much, best nursery ever!

My daughter has been at the setting since August 2018. She has loved the nursery and staff since the moment she arrived. It has been fantastic to see her grow, develop and thrive at the nursery. She is a confident, happy toddler. The staff have definitely contributed to her development. Like most parents,I
was concerned with lockdown and the possible negative impact it may have had on her, however the nursery have gone above and beyond to keep us updated with phone calls throughout lockdown to keep in touch, emails with ideas of activities, welcome back book, staying safe guide and finding out what has changed for my child during lockdown. I am really impressed at the effort the nursery have gone to in making a difficult situation manageable. Thank you to all the staff at Meadow View Day Nursery.

My daughter has been at this nursery since Jan 20 and she has absolutely thrived. She loves going in each week and we are always greeted by a friendly member of the team. The management are very helpful and respond to any questions I have very quickly. During COVID, the procedure was well explained
and I felt that it was very safe for my child to still attend. The only downside for me would be the meals - there is not a great deal of variety in the meals they provide and I feel that my daughter has the same thing week after week. Overall, I am very happy with the care my daughter receives and would recommend to family and friends in the future.

Both my children (age 4 and 2) have gone to Meadow View from the age of 12-months. Both have thrived here and absolutely love going in. They also attended during the Covid-19 pandemic, and I was so impressed with the information provided, safety measures and an overall warm welcome from all the staff
even during this very uneasy time.
The staff are all approachable and friendly. All the key workers assigned to both my children have gone above and beyond in some way to help my child develop and enjoy their time at the nursery.
I find the information sent to parents informative and helpful, and the assessments and daily updates just go to show how much they have gotten to know my children on an individual basis. As a parent, I love the fact all they need is a set of spare clothes and everything else is provided including a variety of nutritious meals, suncream, milk and nappies. I really can't recommend it enough. Thank you Meadow View.

The nursery has been great through the pandemic and kept in touch in the time my daughter was not in the nursery. Now she is back, they have dealt with the government changes excellently, and have kept my daughter feeling welcomed and cared for. They always take an interest in her life in and out of
the nursery, which shows since she loves going to share things with the staff. My son is enrolled to start soon, and I feel they would look after him as much as they have my daughter.

My wife and I think this an excellent nursery. Very warm, welcoming place and lovely staff members. Our daughter loved it too.
The updates you get through the app are great too. Really help you feel at ease throughout the day knowing your child has eaten, napped, pooped, and happily played until her
hearts content!
Food menu is better than most restaurants in the area!!!
Superb management throughout the COVID crisis. Communication was great throughout and they were fantastic at holding her place open whilst my wife was on furlough too.
Would have no hesitation in recommending Meadow View.

I have had two children at Meadowview for a number of years, during this time they have both been extremely happy. The staff are always really welcoming and are quick to address any concerns you may have, development stages such as potty training and transition to school are fully supported. Both of
my children have enjoyed the outdoor space, which is really lovely. I like the different topics they focus on across the year including having duck eggs and growing veg in the eco-garden. Even at the beginning when drop off's were more difficult, staff always called to reassure me when they had settled. I love this nursery and would highly recommend it.

My son will be leaving Meadow View at the end of the summer, which we are so sad about because he has had the most amazing care, love and attention from the lovely carers at this setting.
Meadowview has supported us from day one. When he transferred from his first nursery, they were so good with helping
him to settle in. He has such an amazing bond with the carers. Also, the nursery has supported us during this very difficult lockdown period, and the measures they've put in place to support a safe but fun environment in these conditions have been outstanding.
We are so sad that our son will be leaving but extremely grateful to the team for giving him such a wonderful start to his learning journey and early development. Thank you!

Danielle is the Manager of Meadow View Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for 23 years. Danielle is NVQ Level 3 qualified. Danielle has worked at Childbase Partnership for 7 years.


What is your favourite feature of your nursery?
My favourite feature of the nursery is how all rooms lead onto the garden, and as it's one of our smaller nurseries, I love how each room has a home-from-home feel.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of how well the team works together throughout the whole nursery, engaging with all children and providing a positive, engaging environment for all the children in our care.
