Partou Silchester Manor Day Nursery & Pre-School

Just moved from Italy and we had the fortune to have Silchester Manor Day Nursery close to home. In this very hard moment for our family, the nursery staff took care and looked after my kids with skills and kindness.

Good staff and very nice director helped us. My kids now (after 4 months of preschool) have more English skills and rules - good space and amazing garden. Fees in line with other nurseries.

My son has just started Silchester Manor Day Nursery. He has settled in very well and enjoys outdoor space. Food menu could be improved as well as price is at a high level compared to other nurseries.

My son seems very content from his first settling in day. When I arrived to collect him he was playing in the garden and singing.

Seems very professional and I like that I was told a full break down of his day.

Staff have always been friendly and supportive. The learning in preschool is great.

Good nursery, a good atmosphere of learning for children and very friendly staff which are approachable. My child has enjoyed their time at Silchester Manor Day Nursery and has a lot of fun.

I am so happy that my daughter is a part of this nursery.

I like the facilities you have here. A huge space for children to run around. Only complaint is the preschool room is extremely hot when it's sunny. The care is OK and my child seems to have settled in well. Would be great though if a little more effort on what parents want. Would like child to take naps in the afternoon but these requests seem to be forgotten often. Would be great if that is taken care of.

***** has been really excellent with pretty much all of the children at the nursery (3-4 yrs room) She settled in really well and connected with the children (most of them) in the room. She's warm, pleasant personality makes her v likeable by the children and parents. ***** does her role whole heartidlye and with a lot of passion and empathy. She also gives an excellent and a very detailed feedback to the parents while collecting this child.

The facilities are lovely. My son loves exploring and playing in the garden. Overall I am very satisfied with the nursery I will recommend to my friends.

Really lovely room, staff always making sure my child has a good start to their day. Always good feedback about the day's activity when I collect my child in the afternoon. I love that they can spend all day in the garden if they choose - such a fantastic space for them.

Lovely nursery. My toddler is very happy and well looked after. He is learning a lot.

The staff are caring and helpful and helped the children to settle in very quickly.

Since my son has been at pre-school I have not had any issues with the nursery at all. My son has learnt a lot whilst being here. Golden rules - eating independently and putting his dishes away, learning to share, making friendships. He really enjoys coming to pre-school especially because of the outdoor play space. The staff have been great too. I know that my son is in good hands.

The nursery is a very big and spacious, the big garden is an advantage. There was a lot of improvements in the last 6 months. More resources and well planned/organised sensory room etc. The staff are very friendly and some are really down to earth and very knowledgeable. However, big staff rotation ( people come and go) was a disadvantage for my child, over 2 years he had 4 different key workers.

Very friendly staff who are great at looking after our little one.

The only dislike has been too many staff changes, which I believe effects our daughter's needs.

Excellent outdoor space for the children. The staff take time to get to know the children and cater for their needs. A fun environment to encourage learning and social interaction.

My Son has settled really well at this nursery. The manager is really lovely and it seems to be run really well. My Son is attached to one carer in his room and she is amazing! If she wasn't there I actually think I would be looking at alternative nurseries. Sometimes I will walk in and no one will get my Son but that's only happened a few times. Overall, I am really happy with the nursery.

Lovely nursery and great staff. Really helpful and caring towards my Son. He really looks forward to coming.

My Son attends nursery 2 days a week and has attended since aged 2. He took a while to settle, the team were good suggesting steps to encourage him to settle. He has really developed through time at the nursery and made lovely6 friends.
