Partou Silchester Manor Day Nursery & Pre-School

Our Son has been attending Silchester for a few months now and he is loving it. We are very happy with the care and friendliness from the staff. The outdoor area is brilliant.

My Daughter has a lovely time at Silchester every day. She attends full time and has now been there for nearly 3 years. Most staff are attentive and genuinely love their job. I do feel that the kids need to be given more assistance when using the toilet, especially when they are still learning. There are some members of staff that are, particularly, attentive and think need to be given more support, they make that nursery a lovely place to be at.

I am very happy with the nursery, especially the baby care which is excellent like they give personal attention to each kid.

Excellent, friendly staff. My son has been at this nursery since he was 6 months old, now he is due to start to school. He has loved his time at Silchester Manor Day Nursery. One staff member has been excellent with my son and runs the nursery very well, she is a credit to the nursery as are other members in pre-school. Excellent staff members.

The staff always adjust to their needs, look after them individually, personal approach.

My son was extremely unsettled when starting! The girls in the 2-3's room really helped him settle. He now loves coming to the nursery and has an amazing bond with the staff.

Silchester Manor is a brilliant preschool, kids are allowed to grow in confidence and thrive with the support of the fantastic staff. The facilities are great as well, my daughter loves it here.

I would highly recommend this nursery. My son has additional needs and they have gone above and beyond to help him settle and interact with fellow children. They have also helped and were successful in my son having an EHS plan. My son gets on very well with all the key workers in this setting which is helpful. They build lovely relationships with their keyworker.

Silchester has great facilities too. Great garden, playground, indoor room to entertain children. My son's key person is also great. She approaches individually. He loves teachers. I fully recommend this nursery.

Staff is generally good but lacks co-ordination. When you tell staff about something relating to your child (health related) they do not communicate to other staff members.

Toilets are always dirty/stinky/never clean.

When joining Silchester Manor Day Nursery I was very hesitant to leave my baby with the support of the lovely practitioners and daily communication made this transition so easy for me. I would highly recommend Silchester Manor Day Nursery to all my friends and family.

Very helpful staff, outdoor facilities are superb.

The range of toys could be increased and further development of the sensory room. We are very happy with the service being provided and looking to increase the number of hours my son attends. It has really helped his development.

My daughter joined the nursery when she was 9 months. Her development and language skills have improved a lot. She is always happy to be here. Kudos to the excellent staff who work here. Our son recently had a medical emergency due to breathing difficulties caused by a chest infection. Silchester handled the situation excellently they showed such care and warmth to our child and called us numerous times whilst we were at the hospital to check how he was. The staff here are the key strength to this nursery, they genuinely care for the children. We know our son is in excellent care whilst we are at work.

I am extremely happy with the service, both my children have been at Silchester and the management are amazing. My son is so happy with the care he receives and we notice he is learning and their outdoor space is fantastic.
