Partou Silchester Manor Day Nursery & Pre-School

I just simply love our nursery. My daughter has some talking delays, and the staff are good for helping me to solve this issue because they are really caring and worry about the kids. They are encouraging her in an upbeat way. Also, I was worried and a bit scared of her settling in period. But with the help and patience of the nursery staff, it went smoothly and calmly. I believe it is because the children feel happy and safe there. Also, I like the manager as she was trying to help us with advice, and the financial side during the pandemic. All I can say about this nursery is that all people working and caring for the kids here are great. Thank you.

My son has only just started at Silchester, we decided to change nurseries as we needed a more flexible and personable childcare option. So far, I've been really impressed and grateful for the personable approach and warmness I've experienced from the nursery manager and staff. Looking forward to my son having lots of fun times and memories at Silchester.

Love everything. Our toddler enjoys the pre-school; she learns so much every day and tells me about it with enthusiasm. She likes her teachers and keeps telling me about them. We love the atmosphere, friendliness and how easy it is to discuss anything with the manager.

Our daughter started in January 2020. She can get very anxious about new things, but the staff went out of their wat to ensure she felt comfortable and happy from the moment she walked in the door. A lot has changed in the world since then, but the support and care provided by the nursery and staff have remained constant. The pandemic hit out daughter hard, especially as routines changed, and my wife and I had to continue working full-time whilst she was at home. The staff took the time to listen to our challenges and offered brilliant advice, which helped us all soo much. When she was able to attend the nursery again, our daughter was almost immediately back to her normal self; because she was so happy to be there. She loves showing off the new things she learns there and counts the staff as her friends. We cannot thank everyone at Silchester Manor for the support they have provided, and that bravery for continuing to be there to give our children a safe and happy space in the most difficult of circumstances. We would be lost without them.

My child has settled in very well at nursery and has created strong bonds with the teaching staff. She is very happy to go to nursery every day, and the feedback from the staff is excellent. We have noticed our child has excelled in her learning, which can only be put done to the work of the teaching staff. The facility is large and well equipped for its use.

We have always been really pleased with the care we have received for our son, who has been attending Silchester since he was a year old (he is now three and a half). He was extremely shy and lacking confidence, but attending Silchester has helped him to thrive and brought out his confidence. We are delighted that we have now been able to join our youngest son 10-months-old, and are confident he will receive the same care and attention.

My daughter is very happy to attend the nursery. She goes there with a smile on and when I pick her up she has a smile on. She loves her teachers, learns fast and makes friends. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Lovely nursery with very friendly staff. Always very responsive to queries or requests and go that extra mile to accommodate. The grounds around the building are lovely and they have a huge back garden area which will be a joy to spend summer in for my Daughter! The Tapestry app is really good and enables us to see photos of significant moments from each session. The Baby room is a great size with ample amount of space and a dedicated area for different types of playtime. I like the fact that the sleeping area is kept separate and they have a dedicated sensory room.

The pre-school at Silchester Manor is of a high standard. There is a wide range of activities which enable my son to develop his physical and intellectual abilities. It is a safe environment where my son loves to go. The staff are amazing. They are very friendly, enthusiastic and caring towards my child and they are enabling my child to reach his full potential enjoy his experience and develop as a social individual. I highly recommend Silchester Manor Nursery.

Overall pleased with the environment. Had some issues at the beginning with key workers constantly changing but more stability now.

I would highly recommend this nursery as it has all the help that my son can get, he is well cared for and he enjoys his time at nursery. Staff at Silchester are helpful and would ring if any problems. My son has been going to nursery for 8 months and is really settled and loves nursery life. Lots of activities that staff do with all children. 100% would recommend friends and family about Silchester.

Our daughter has started with the nursery this month. She has settled in really well, which is thanks to the wonderful staff looking after her.

My son is very happy at the nursery. They do lots of activities with the children. There is a nice outside area where they can play. Staff are very friendly.

All staff demonstrate an excellent attitude and have excellent relationships with their designated children. I have consciously observed this myself to gain satisfaction that my child is in the right nursery, or preschool as my son now puts it.

The Nursery setting is good. It is improving my child's learning. Staff are welcoming. They really show us as parents that they care and like our child. They make my child feel safe when he is in nursery. They provide holistic care for him. They have made him settle well in the Nursery.

My eldest daughter excelled at Silchester Manor Day Nursery and she was ready for school with confidence and knowledge instilled at the nursery. Therefore it was no surprise that I am sending my second daughter there too. The staff have been so patient and forthcoming during her settling in and made it so easy for her to feel comfortable at Silchester Manor. I have every confidence that the staff will provide the same nurturing care and confidence to my younger daughter to also prepare her for school.

My son has been attending this nursery for six months now and I am extremely happy. My son comes home every day telling me fantastic stories about what we did and learned at nursery. I recommend this nursery 100%.

My younger sister went to Silchester last year and she is doing so well in school. Now my younger brother has joined since July and I can see changes already. His social skills have improved and he surprises me by his vocabulary, learning new words every week. Great team and management, always there to help. Garden is big and my brother enjoys lots of great activities every day. He likes the nursery food and his eating habits have improved. I would highly recommend this nursery to others.

The nursery has a lovely nurturing and vibrant atmosphere which my son loves. There is plenty of space for him to explore and learn via the vast range of toys and equipment they have. I know he is well cared for. I am always well informed and I work together with the nursery staff to give my son the best possible experience. All the staff are well trained and approach which puts my mind at ease. I am very happy with Silchester Manor.
