Partou Silchester Manor Day Nursery & Pre-School

The staff and caregivers are wonderful and understanding. I appreciate all the support and service they provide to the children and parents. I am extremely sad my daughter will be leaving this nursery as she has grown so much since being here. I would recommend this nursery to anyone in the area.

I am extremely grateful to this nursery for the care they have given my daughter. Every member of staff is welcoming and friendly. Whilst going through a difficult health issue, the manager and everyone in the preschool room were very understanding and flexible. They looked after my daughter extremely well, and for that, I will be eternally grateful. Thank you once again!

What a fantastic nursery; they are doing such a great job. Me and my whole family are teachers, and the nursery is fully supportive of our child's educational journey. We looked at other nurseries, but this is the best by far! Keep up the outstanding work!

My daughter loves coming to the nursery. There are lots of activities my daughter loves doing. There is plenty of space and excellent outdoor/indoor activities. The staff are caring and great with my daughter. The management as everything managed correctly. I also like that we can see all the progress of my daughter's learning and activities online.

Our experience at Silchester has been amazing! The kids love going there; they learn so much, which is evident at home. They get on really well with the staff and have enjoyed an atmosphere where they've made good friends with their peers. The rooms and garden are large and offer lots of different stimulating activities. The food is healthy. The staff are professional and friendly. We couldn't hope for better people to care for our children!

My daughter has had a brilliant experience at Silchester in the preschool room. She settled in well and has been supported throughout her time there. The practitioners have helped her become independent and confident and have encouraged her to try new things. The practitioners and managers are always so helpful, very friendly and easy to approach. The setting itself has everything a child would need indoors and outdoors, and there is always something to do. I always felt reassured of my child’s care and safety and also was kept well informed of everything. I highly recommend Silchester Manor Day Nursery.

Words cannot describe how amazing this nursery is. My daughter has been at this nursery since she has been one and will now be leaving pre-school. The care from day one has been exceptional, the staff are so nurturing, wonderful and kind, and most importantly, my daughter has loved every single one of her teachers and key workers. The nursery itself is so big; the space is wonderful for the kids to play in, and it really has a special feel to it. From baby room to pre-school, the transitions were always easy, and the staff knew when the right time was and made those moves so wonderful for my daughter. The management has been so fantastic, and some particular staff members have always been great with communicating information with us, been accommodating and run the nursery very well. Leaving your child somewhere can be daunting, but the management and staff are so comforting, that within a few weeks, we knew she was in great hands. Our son has joined, and we are so excited about his journey at Silchester!

My son joined recently and settled in nursery quickly. He has thoroughly enjoyed going ever since. I see him developing his social skiing and mingling with other children quite easily. His motoring skills have improved quite a lot, but he was not confident. Overall, mostly has provided overall development of skills. I would like to make a special mention about the learning plan, tailored to my son's needs and daily updates helped me understand how he is doing on a day to day basis. I highly recommend the nursery to any parent.

My son became confident and started to gain friendships with peers and the staff. He is always engaged in activities and looks forward to being at nursery. The 2-3's staff have done amazing and supporting him with potty training ready for when he goes to pre-school. I have seen the pre-school room, also looks like a great place. He currently likes counting, shapes and building. So both 2-3's and pre-school are a good place to see my son thrive when he turns three. I thank all the girls for taking good care of him and helping him grow into this wonderful, smart boy.

My son has been attending since he was 18-months. From his settling day in the baby room to him currently being in the preschool, the care has been excellent. From the managers to all the practitioners, the team go above and beyond to ensure that children are happy and always cared for. Couldn't be happier.

My son started this nursery in September 2021. He has had a fantastic experience. He really looks forward to attending the nursery. The nursery is always clean, well organised and we feel very communicated with. The nursery is very "homely", this puts my mind at ease. Thank you to all the staff.

Our daughter (aged 2) joined Silchester in December 2020 with no settles due to the lockdown situation. Within the hour, she had settled, and I felt reassured she was receiving the best care. Since then, they have continued to provide a structured, fun and sade environment, and she loves it! Online access to see what our daughter has been up to only cement her enjoyment and learning.

This is a good nursery where my child is happy (my oldest child is no longer there), and the staff appear to be engaged and have genuine affection for the children.

I have been impressed with their Covid-19 measures and that they are continuing to work throughout the crisis. They are supportive of potty training our daughter, and we are happy with the nursery's flexibility, particularly at this time.
