Poppies Day Nursery Holmer Green

We have a 22-month-old, and just recently moved to the area. We were a bit nervous to uproot him from his daily routine - he had been at his previous nursery for almost a year, and loved everyone there - however, his key carer at Poppies made the transition feel seamless. She enquired about his interests and made sure to make him feel at ease through his favourite games. He has settled extremely well and loves the extensive outside area. They are in the garden most of the time, and he loves running around, playing on bikes and in the mud kitchen. We will be placing our 6 months old there in Dec, and are confident she will be well looked after.

Good environment, my daughter really loves it here. The staff are very nice and polite.

I have been very happy with the care my daughter has received at this nursery. I know she will always be comforted by the warm team if needed and there are a variety of things to do both inside and outside. A little disappointed with the lack of flexibility at times and the lack of a discount for holidays. I feel the high fees should offer a bit more in return in a way that some other nurseries do.

I am more than satisfied that when I drop my daughter off at nursery that she is well cared for and looked after, you can see when you go in to pick my child up that the kids are all enjoying themselves and undertaking various activities that educates them. My child has an intolerance to cows milk protein and the staff have been more than accommodating towards her ensuring that she is giving the correct foods in line with her intolerance. I would as I state above will recommend the nursery to any friends or family that ask for advice on nurseries in the area, the hours that the nursery are open for are also very good and allow my wife and I to drop my child off without having too much of an effect on our work. The staff are always pleasant, polite and upbeat when you go into the nursery and always go out of their way to support you if needed.

They are very patient and kind with the children.

My little girl is always greeted with smiles and cuddles in the morning. She is well looked after and enjoys the range of activities. She loves playing with babies and adults join in taking turns to look after her baby which he loves! Staff inform me in detail about how my daughters day has been which is always lovely to hear.

My son has settled in very well. Unfortunately, as a newly single mum, I have found it impossible to get help from dad regarding payment. There is limited help available with what to do. Inflexibility with days/hours has caused me great stress. I understand you are running a business. On initially signing up, I wanted to pay 6 months in advance. This was delayed by the staff there in responding to both my emails and telephone calls. Subsequently, I have had to pay monthly. The staff that look after my son are brilliant, no faults at all.

Staff are excellent. My son thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery.

The staff are amazing with our son and have brought him out of his shell as he can sometimes be very shy in social situations.

Allt he activities they do, he loves and the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner he adores. I can highly recommend Poppies Nursery.

My son only started last month and already absolutely loves going to Poppies. The staff are all caring and friendly and do so many activities with him whilst he is there. I think he has more fun at Poppies than he does at home!
