Poppies Day Nursery Holmer Green

Our two children attend Poppies Day Nursery and we have always been very pleased with the care that they receive; the staff are brilliant, kind, patient and very friendly. The managers are always happy to answer any questions over the phone. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Amazing, friendly staff. My son really enjoys his time here and it's great to know he is so well cared for. Receiving his daily updates from the staff (with photographs) is the highlight of my day.

Our little boy has been at Poppies Day Nursery since he was 15 months (now 2 and a half), and he absolutely loves it. He always comes out with a smile on his face and tells us all the great things they have done.

He is always sent home with all the crafts and cooking he does, as well as us being able to see photos on his log every day. He has great relationships with all the staff members, they are so caring and great at building a rapport with the children. They have external companies who come in to teach the children and get the most out of their days at nursery!

Brilliant nursery, our second will be joining in summer! We highly recommend it!

In our opinion, Poppies Day Nursery is the best nursery around. The staff are always happy and professional, we had a few challenges at the start, with dates etc and they have gone out of their way to help settle our little one in. Even when we needed to change the hours further down the line, they have been there to support us. Poppies Day Nursery work really hard to ensure the kids have a great time from the moment they arrive until it's time to go, our little one absolutely loves it.

My daughter who was very nervous is settling in just fine and is already becoming more outgoing, it has really shown in such a short space of time, she has only been there for about 6 weeks now so very happy.

Both of my children have attended Poppies Holmer Green; my son for a few months during the lockdown as his preschool was closed, and my daughter (21-months) attends the nursery full time.

The nursery feels like a home from home for the children. Such a beautiful setting and the staff are incredible. They are very attentive and caring, which has resulted in two very happy children and happy parents knowing how well they are looked after.

My daughter has developed so well in the last 9-months; she is such a happy and outgoing child.

Poppies Day Nursery Holmer Green has been so welcoming to our little boy, and have gone over and above to support where we have needed it. Ensuring processes are put in place and that we are updated at all times. The employees at Poppies always welcome us with a smile on their faces, and continue to offer a fun and stimulating environment! We would definitely recommend Poppies!

Both of my children, my son who is three and my daughter who is one started Poppies Day Nursery Holmer Green in January as we moved into the area. Both my children had previously attended another nursery and absolutely loved it. Thankfully, they love Poppies Day Nursery Holmer Green too! It took my son a little while to get settled, but now he is, he loves going every day. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and my son took an immediate shining to the room leader in preschool. My daughter is happy to go in everyday, she eats well and sleeps well whilst she's there but is also exhausted by the end of the day, which clearly means that she has been very active. The outside facilities are great and my son loves the outside kitchen. The food, which is prepared on site, sounds delicious and my two children seem to have seconds of everything most days! As a Mum, it's so good to know that they love being at Poppies Day Nursery Holmer Green and seem to enjoy everything that they do.

My daughter is thriving at Poppies - she loves all of the staff and the other children. It's the third nursery provider she's attended, but Poppies is the only one she's been eager to get to in the morning (the other two nurseries were also good, but clearly not as good as Poppies!). As a parent, I want my daughter to be happy, but I also want her to be learning. This is another reason I've been impressed with Poppies - my daughter has gotten really got at phonics since attending and can recognise all the letters of the alphabet. She hates learning the alphabet at home, so I'm relieved she's learning this at nursery. I would thoroughly recommend Poppies to any parent. Your little one will benefit a lot!

My son has been attending Poppies since he was 8 months old, he is now 4 years old. He loves it here and always comes back beaming and full of stories. He loves baking at nursery and music time and comes back with lots of art and craft.

A fantastic nursery with a great mix of learning and fun activities. The staff are always attentive and spend time talking through the children’s day and what they’ve been up to. Good facilities and the garden is great for all weathers. Would definitely recommend and the team have been brilliant during COVID.

Our daughter has been attending Poppies in the preschool group for around 5 months now and is very happy. Staff are hard-working, positive and clearly care about their work. Lots of clear communication home from the manager and regular updates on all the fun things our daughters get up to every week via Tapestry.

Our son has been attending the nursery for a few days a week since the start of the year. We have been really impressed with the care and attention they take. There is always a good update for what our son has been doing. And as he has some challenges with his skin, Poppies have been excellent in providing the extra care and attention he needs. The staff are all incredibly friendly and we have been really pleased we have picked Poppies Nursery.

My daughter has been attending Poppies for nearly a year and a half, has made some lovely little friends and absolutely loves it. The staff are great and very welcoming. The online learning portal has been a brilliant addition and really shows the variety of activities they do, it's also great they have external activities. The menus are varied and healthy.

We love Poppies! Since our son started he has really flourished. The staff are so loving and kind. The facilities are wonderful and the activities are so well planned and thought of. They are so creative and really look after our son so well. We would highly recommend Poppies, this is our second nursery and we are incredibly happy with our choice!

Because of COVID, the measures they have in place are excellent, and I am so glad I chose this nursery, it’s a shame she only has one year left!

I have been very happy with my son attending the nursery. There were a few staffing changes just after he joined which I was concerned about but he loves the staff and they look after him exceptionally well. He always eats a variety of food which is great and although he is overjoyed to see us collect him I know he has had a great time. Extra activities, such as a musician, comes into the nursery to play music (which my son loves).

The building could be nicer, it feels only like a portacabin! But this doesn't bother the kids and the inside is well-spaced and decorated. It is a little pricey but I still feel it is value for money.

The nursery is moving to Tapestry which is great so I can see how my son is doing in his learning online.

Poppies Day Nursery Holmer Green is a fantastic village nursery with a 'home from home' feel. Our daughter has been happy there since day one, making friends and forming strong bonds with the staff. The activities are brilliant - our daughter has really flourished in this caring and happy environment.
