With great care provided and friendly staff, I can't fault anything. I go to work knowing they are in safe hands.
The staff have worked tirelessly to improve it since taking over and the refurb of nursery class plus the fantastic outside space make this a great nursery. The variety of food is excellent and range of other activities such as the sports and music class are definitely a bonus.
We receive detailed handovers each evening and feel every one of the staff takes an active interest in our boys.
Keep up the good work.
The outside area has recently been refurbished and is a fantastic space for the children to play and get some fresh air.
The food choices are varied and healthy and I have peace of mind knowing that she has formed a special bond with the key carers in the baby nest that look after her.
Staff are friendly, although a very high turnover of staff which has been slightly unsettling. Slight lack of communication and presence from management but overall, good care of my child and he is making good progress and is happy. Love the new garden.
Both our children love Poppies Holmer Green. The team take the time to learn about each individual child's wants and needs and provide a nurturing environment in which the children can learn and thrive.
We have seen her confidence grow as well as her appetite (she loves the food and the variety is super and wholesome with occasional treats)
We are really pleased with the variety of activities from cultural and art to physical, that she is exposed to. The staff are all very professional and friendly and were a huge support when I experienced some serious health issues.
The team there is dedicated both to the children and the parents and from Day 1, I had the utmost confidence that my child would be safe, nurtured and educated.
My daughter was very clingy when she started nursery in November 2015, but the staff were absolutely excellent at settling her in and getting to know her. I am so grateful to them as she now loves the staff and the activities and gets very excited when we walk into the nursery in the morning.
The staff and management are excellent and they have big plans for the transforming the nursery building as well as all the structured activities they have already introduced. Opening at 7.30am is also a real benefit.
Would recommend this nursery to anyone looking around for quality care for their child.
I feel totally happy that my child is being 'educated' as well as having fun and cared for. She gets one to one attention and her needs are very important to the staff there. I like the fact that they feedback on her behaviour, eating, and any other relevant information to the parents.
Excellent management at Poppies and I feel my little girl is in safe hands.
Overall, very happy with Poppies and would recommend to anyone.

Hi, I’m Stacey and joined the nursery in June 2020. I have over eight years’ worth of experience within the early years sector, including four years of which I have held a management position. I have extensive knowledge and experience of caring for babies and young children and am passionate about providing an educational and exciting environment for them to learn, develop and grow. I hold a First-Class BA(Hons) in Childhood Welfare and Education.
Hi, I’m Farah, Deputy Manager. I have worked at Poppies Holmer Green since January 2017, having worked my way up from Room Leader. Previously, I worked for a large nursery chain, which has helped to develop my knowledge and understanding of how young children learn and develop. I lead our Explorers room at Poppies Holmer Green.
