Established in 1989 as the first Yellow Brick Nursery, Woosehill Day Nursery & Pre-School is nestled beside tranquil woodland and offers a nurturing environment where children aged 0–5 thrive through creativity, choice, and curiosity.

Woosehill provides a vibrant, inclusive setting that fosters a lifelong love of learning. Practice is guided by child-led principles and reflective approaches, supporting children to explore, express, and grow at their own pace. The environment is enriched with sensory experiences, open-ended resources, and meaningful interactions that promote confidence, wellbeing, and individuality.

Part of the Complete Childcare family, Woosehill offers care for children aged 3 months to 5 years across thoughtfully designed rooms.

The Nest (0–2 years) is a warm, homely space designed to support secure attachments and early development. Cosy corners, sensory-rich materials, and gentle routines nurture emotional wellbeing and encourage communication, movement, and curiosity.

The Woodland (2–5 years) builds on this foundation with open-ended play, outdoor exploration, and opportunities for independence and creativity.

Home-Cooked Meals
Nutritious, home-cooked meals are freshly prepared on site each day by the nursery cook, following relevant nutritional guidelines including sugar-free and salt-free standards. Meals are balanced, wholesome, and tailored to support healthy development.

As is often the case with foster placements we had to approach the nursery at short notice to seek spaces and the Manager and staff could not have been more helpful. Both children have settled quickly and love going to nursery. All staff have been supportive and give them the encouragement and stimulation
they need.


The facilities indoor and outdoor are excellent and the on-site catering gives them a variety of fresh and varied food.

I cannot recommend Woosehill Day Nursery highly enough. My 2-year-old has been attending since 8 months old and every step of the way I have been informed as to how my child is developing. The colleagues at the nursery are happy, helpful, supportive and give me confidence that my child is cared for
in every way. If I have ever had something I wish to discuss, colleagues have always been on hand to help and guide.
After my child's 2 year health review, I was able to discuss the results with nursery management and they gave me every confidence that they listened to the things that I wanted to work on with my child- since that conversation, every day we attend, I get an update as to progress made.
The location is great for me, my child has access to great facilities, fun and stretching activities and great food.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Woosehill Day Nursery and I would like to thank all of the colleagues there for giving my child a great experience.

We are very happy that we chose this nursery for our daughter. She has become a very happy, confident toddler very quickly since joining. Every day the nursery carries out a lot of activities that she enjoys and learns lots of new things. Her social skills are also improved through her interaction with
other children. All staff are very kind, caring and observant to make sure they provide the best all-round experience to the kids. Thank you.

Woosehill is great. The staff are very attentive, approachable and kind and my child seems to adore everyone! He has learnt a lot at nursery while attending Woosehill and he loves to go especially as there is also a fab play area next door and woodland to explore at the end of the day. Very good location
and the care of my child has been very good. Highly recommend it.
