Bright Horizons Sonning Lane Day Nursery and Preschool

A very friendly all inclusive nursery that works well with my toddler to help him develop his skills and settle into any changes at home. Nothing is ever too much for the nursery and my boys thriving since coming here, even more so since he moved from two days to three days. I will be sending my daughter here in a years time too. Thanks all.

Our greatest reason for choosing this nursery is the amount of outside space and how much that is used by the children.

My 19-month-old son has been at Inglewood for a few months now and has settled in well as he loves the staff in his room. They have a nice big room and another space inside that they sometimes use. Now the weather's getting better it's great that they can explore the lovely outside areas too.

My daughter attends preschool at Inglewood and she absolutely loves it (she started at the nursery at 8 months old). She gets on well with all the staff and learns something new every day as they do lots of activities. The facilities are brilliant, the garden is huge and an amazing area for the kids. They spend a lot of time outside which my daughter loves. They also have an onsite indoor heated swimming pool. My daughter takes lessons and now she’s become very confident in the water. I feel like my daughter is in safe hands when she’s at Inglewood. I would highly recommend Inglewood to other parents.

The management and organisation is excellent.

There have been some challenges with previous management teams but the current team are great.

Lovely nursery with a wonderful, spacious outside space. All the staff are friendly and attentive to our daughter’s needs and she really enjoys going. The food served is also excellent and the variety is very good.

Our Son has attended Inglewood since he was one and is now nearly three. Our experience has been very positive. He has settled into every room he has been in and the staff are wonderful, he has formed some very close bonds. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The large outside space is a huge benefit of Inglewood and they spend lots of time outside. The small swimming pool with the option of lessons from 2 years old is also a bonus! My son is developing well so I certainly can't fault their learning activities, it's always nice to see what they've been up to via the app. The food provided is healthy and seems to go down very well most days so I assume must taste ok. In terms of costs. It's expensive but on par with the other main options in our area. My only negative is that on occasion the admin (e.g. communication around room changes) has been a little unorganised, but not a massive issue. What's important is my son is happy to be there every day.

My son is really enjoying being at nursery, he enjoys drop-offs and is always happy to see the staff. Staff are friendly and welcoming and activities are varied. Facilities are impressive and the food supplied offers a great variety. Having updates on the app is really useful too.

Lovely nursery with staff that really care about the children. It’s a great environment and I feel that my children are well looked after and the staff go above and beyond to make sure my children are happy. The managers are also on hand to help with any queries. We really recommend this nursery and are so happy with it.

Lovely nursery for our two children who have both settled in really well, with thanks to all the staff for being so nurturing. We especially love the outside space for the children to play in and the delicious food which the children really enjoy.

We chose Inglewood because the staff are all so lovely, the garden is big and green, and there’s so much space for our baby to play. He loves it so far and we can see him bonding with the staff in every session.

Inglewood has provided a safe and creative environment for my child. I would highly recommend it for new parents to start your child’s independent journey. The deputy manager has been very helpful in every way possible.

We’ve been with Inglewood for the last 6.5 years. Like every nursery, they’ve had their challenges, but they’ve worked through them always putting the children first. Not once have I doubted the standard of care provided for my children. The staff are your biggest asset. My children adore them and the variety of activities and games they play with them each day. The space indoors and outdoors, is unparalleled. The swimming pool and the ability to do lessons is an added bonus.

Our daughter has attended Inglewood since February 2021 when she was 11 months old. It has been such a special and wonderful place to see our daughter grow and develop. Every member of staff has been wonderful. The facilities and grounds are second to none. The activities the run are always imaginative and well designed. I’d recommend Inglewood to anyone who wants their child to feel special and comfortable in this incredible space.

We have had a lovely experience so far with Inglewood. Especially the baby rooms' maple and holly. All of the care takers are really lovely and dependable and bond so well with the kids. The activities are done quite well to aid the development of the kids.

Having sent 3 children to this nursery, we are happy with the care and development they have given our children.

My daughter started the nursery at the end of March and the staff have made a huge effort to settle her into her room and support her routine while she is at the nursery. She goes into nursery with excitement and is always happy to wave goodbye to me at drop off.

I have had both of my children in the nursery and have been incredibly happy with the care they have received. The staff team are so welcoming and obviously really care about the children and plan the most exciting activities for them. My youngest runs in every morning so excited to be there and even asks if it's a nursery day at the weekends. We could not recommend this nursery enough, not only for the care they provide, but also for the incredible facilities. We are so happy the swimming pool is reopen and our children are able to access this amazing resource.
