My child has been attending Bright Horizons Sonning Lane since he was 11 months old. He has grown as a little boy and often comes home learning new things that surprise us.
He has great relationships with the staff and talks at home about preschool all day.

Couldn't ask for a better facility for him to attend. Great staff, great facilities and lots of fun and learning.

Overall good experience with the nursery. My daughter has been in the nursery for almost a year. At the beginning, she cried & screamed every time I dropped her off but now she is much better. She smiles & when I pick er up every day and says I have a good day and she learns a lot of stuff also made some friends, so I am happy for her being in this nursery.

Inglewood Day Nursery is great. Harry has settled into Bramble room extremely well and is very fond of Helen.

We have loved our time at Sonning Lane. The staff are great and genuinely care. Often I ask my children who was kind to you today and they always list team members. Our eldest is so ready to start school, I am confident he has developed the skills he need. I would recommend to any new parent.

Romy has beet at Inglewood for over a year now and she couldn't love it more. The staff are always friendly and Romy always seems like she has a great time. Couldn't recommend Inglewood more.

My son started nursery in January and settled in amazingly. The staff in his room are friendly and welcoming and he has bonded with them well. The app available keeps us well informed about his day to day activities aswell as any important information. Would highly recommend the nursery.

It's been an amazing experience since very beginning which only improved with time and two lovely guinea pigs added to the nursery life, which made my kid excited about getting to the nursery and reduced the level of stress in the early days (whoever came up with this idea is a true genius! Well done team)There is a significant amount of support and care provided to the children and a great attention is paid to their development.
Seperate praise should go to the cuisine, as we often have to ask for the recipies, as my child says that food in nursery is lovely :) ( and it really is)
The highlight of my child's week is swimming sessions and fun music mornings.

This is truly an outstanding nursery.

Very professional class staff made my daughter feel welcome very quickly and she enjoyed going there after only a few days.

Easy parking and accessability made the commute better. Longer than usual opening hours also helped with our emergency care need.

My son settled into Inglewood Nursery so quickly. He really enjoys going each day and is very well taken care of. Each morning he is welcomed into his room and the staff are always very kind and friendly. My son really enjoys all the outdoor space which is immense! He tells me about how he has his nap and about the stories he is read. There is a lovely sense of calm at Inglewood and my son is very happy there!

We have had 2 children go through this nursery, would certainly use them again if we had a 3rd. We did take our 2nd child out breifly due to some logistical issues with job changes however we realised we wanted to move them back as we believed they would enjoy their time at Inglewood far more than the nursery we had moved them to. The staff are fantastic, great to the kids and easy to talk to for parents.

Our daughter has been at Inglewood House since she was 8.5 months and she is now nearly 2. The team are outstanding - the love and care that our daughter receives cannot be faulted.
She has flourished under their care - she was slow to walk and they have put some much effort and time in to supporting her, and they also are so invested in her development and celebrating it.
She has had 3 key people in her time and although it's sad to leave one, the next has always been just as good and built fantastic relationships with her.
Beyond the care, the room, facilities, garden, food is amazing - everything is so carefully considered and provides wonderful space and variety for the children.

Finally - as a first time parent I also feel so well supported. They help guide and give advice, and when I was recently having a wobble about parenting they were so kind. The manager even rang me later that day to check in on me which was so appreciated. We are so happy we found Inglewood House.

We have always thought that the care our children receive at Bright Horizons has been outstanding, but this has really come into light in the last three months. Our son, who is quite shy, lacking confidence at times, went through a period of struggling to enjoy nursery. He found one of his new support staff louder than he was used to. Having chatted to her about it, she was quite simply amazing. She worked with my son to support him, offer him quite spaces when he needed it and went above and beyond to ensure he loved nursery again. He is thriving, enjoys nursery, is making and talking about his new friends, and now loves that specific support worker. Thank you to all the staff at Bright Horizons - we know our children are happy and thriving under the care of the team there.

My son joined Bright Horizons Inglewood Day Nursery and Preschool before turning 3 and had never heard nor spoken English before. The staff did an amazing job welcoming him and making him feel comfortable and barely a month later, he was starting to talk in English. He is now 4 and has grown into a confident little boy, made plenty of friends and is fully ready for his next step of the journey. A huge thanks to the team, we will always be grateful to you!

Laura Job Title:Nursery ManagerJoined: 2008

Hello, I'm Laura the Nursery Manager and I've been working in childcare since 2008. I started as an apprentice, completing my Levels 2 and 3 and then worked my way up to a manager’s position. During this time, I completed my BA (Hons) in Children’s Development and Learning.

I'm passionate about creating environments that enable children to learn and develop in their own unique ways and watching the challenge themselves to build the foundations for life.

Outside of nursery life, I like to spend time with family and friends. I also have a 1-year-old daughter who I enjoy watching grow and develop.

Hello, my name is Jenna Carter, and I am excited to be part of the Inglewood family alongside Sam in a joint deputy position.

I have worked for Bright Horizons for 12 years and have been in various roles starting with the children in the rooms and progressing into management, which has given me good-quality knowledge and endless opportunities to develop further. I have an NVQ Level 3 and a diploma in business, working in one single Bright Horizons nursery for 11 years. I then had the opportunity to manage another Bright Horizons nursery where I have been for just over a year, I am now relishing the opportunity to join a team closer to home and bring new ideas to the setting to support in continuing to raise the standards at Inglewood.

I am passionate about children and building their confidence, and individual characters and becoming independent young people, bringing different opinions and ideas through play.

I believe that the team is the foundation of a successful nursery, having a positive and open partnership between families and the nursery is crucial for communication regarding the children and having their best interests at heart.

Hello my name is Sam and I have worked for Bright Horizons at Inglewood Nursery for 4 years. I have worked in Early Years for 18 years and in that time gained my BA HONS degree in Early Years Learning and Development and my Early Years Practitioner Status. During my time in the sector I have worked in a variety of settings from independent nurseries to term time preschools. I also spent a year in Ireland as an au pair and also ran a village preschool catering for children aged 2 to 4 years.

I am very passionate about the care and development of children particularly through their environments and the skills of the practitioners working with them. I enjoy training and developing a team and enhancing their own knowledge through what I have learnt over the years, and providing support to those staff who what to continue to develop their knowledge through accredited courses.

I am a mother of 2 boys aged 4 and 6 who both attended Inglewood nursery which enables me to see the setting from both a practitioner's view as well as a parental view. Inglewood is based in Sonning very close to the village and we have over the years developed a wonderful relationship with the community. We are continuing to build relationships with local businesses’ and schools and work holistically with local settings also.

As a full time working mum I understand how challenging it can be and aim to not only support the children in our setting but also their families and the challenges that can arise for busy working parents.

In my spare time I enjoy taking my two boys here there and everywhere for various escapades and adventures, which usually involve treasure hunting. We have a family dog who is usually brought along with us and living in Sonning myself we know the area very well for walks and being able to explore the beautiful countryside we have around us. When I’m not with my boys I can usually be found on the sofa with a book.
