Hazebrouck Day Nursery

We are so happy with this nursery. It is small and friendly, and all of the staff know the names of all of the children. The children have lots of space both inside and out, and seem to spend lots of time outside. They use the app regularly, which means we know what the children have been up to. As well as the regular nappy changes, naps and meals there are also regular photo updates of the activities the children have done, and observations of particular things our children have done, which we love! Also a termly parents' evening/phone call to keep in touch. I'm amazed at how much our daughter (now in the pre-school room) is learning: she is constantly talking about and doing new things at home that I know she has learnt at nursery. They do lots of learning about current events e.g. Chinese New Year, Diwali, Guy Fawkes', Remembrance Day, and do special events alongside these too e.g. a nativity play (which we were able to watch) and a bonfire party. Highly recommend!

Our daughter started at Hazebrouck Day Nursery a few weeks ago, after we moved to the area. We were quite nervous about changing nurseries as she was so settled at her previous nursery, however, the nursery manager put us at ease with her starting. All the staff in the nest room have been great at welcoming her in and putting us at ease as parents. My daughter is happy to go into nursery every day and she always has the best days! The outdoor space at Hazebrouck Day Nursery is amazing and perfect for our little one who loves being outside. Highly recommend Hazebrouck Day Nursery!

We looked at a lot of nurseries before choosing Hazebrouck Day Nursery. Our little one was supposed to start in The Nest Room just before the first lockdown, we had to unfortunately postpone her start date, the staff were wonderful and very understanding. Fast forward nine months and we finally started in The Pioneers Room. Our little one absolutely loves going to nursery! The team were so caring with both of us during those first few wobbly weeks. Now I don’t even get a look in when we drop off, as the excitement of friends and the nursery team are there waiting. Our little one has thrived and we can see the changes daily in what has been taught, played, read and painted. I love the app that keeps me updated with the basic information, along with observations on her progress and development. I would highly recommend this nursery to all parents.

My son has been attending Hazebrouck for 18-months and settled in so well from day one. He was so happy to go through the door in the mornings as he was greeted with such kind, friendly staff in all areas of the nursery. I was confident even from my first visit that he would be well looked after, loved and inspired by the staff. Each room setting feels safe, clean and dedicated to the children, and there is a great range of resources available. My son loves the outside space, and the nursery always does whatever they can to ensure the children get outside most days. I am only moving on from the setting due to a change in childcare needs but will be returning with my second child in the next 6-months. I would like to thank everyone for their help and support during our time at the nursery, and would highly recommend the setting to families

My son has been at Hazebrouck for just short of a year. We were concerned about him moving nurseries due to us relocating but we needn’t have worried. He settled into Hazebrouck straight away which was certainly helped by the friendly staff whom he formed a relationship with very quickly. My son has loved his time at Hazebrouck and has really developed over the last year and with all the preparation Hazebrouck have done, he is certainly school ready.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for two years now and she loves it. She is well cared for and clearly enjoys her time here from the amount she talks about her day on the way home. Moving to full-time work from part-time in September is a lot easier for me and her father knowing she enjoys her days here so much. The staff have been brilliant all the way through the lockdown and have kept us in the loop at every point. The systems they currently have in place work well and we are reassured they are as safe as can be at this current time. Thank you.

My daughter attended Hazebrouck Day Nursery for three-and-half years, from fifteen months old until nearly five years old and she has loved every minute of it. The staff are so caring and friendly that we have felt like they are part of our extended family and we have never had any second thoughts about sending her into the nursery. They have done so much more than we could have ever done at home for her, expanding her knowledge of the world, preparing her for school, helping and encouraging her to be social and make friends, and supporting her to be more independent. My daughter talks constantly about how much she enjoys being at nursery, the activities and constant entertainment, the diverse food she eats (most of which she wouldn't even try at home) and all of her lovely friends and teachers. We are really sad that the time has come to move on from Hazebrouck but they have helped to make the transition to school so much easier. Thank you to everyone for everything you've done for us.

Our son started at Hazebrouck in January, having just turned 10-months and has settled in brilliantly. Within days; he was in a great routine which saw him sleeping through the night for the first time! The transition days were a massive help and really filled us with confidence that his care was the top priority. The staff are all amazing; take the time to report back through the app, which means we get an almost real-time update every day. Having seen our 5-year-old attend a different nursery for 4-years, we were unsure if another could be as good, but I have to say there is no doubt Hazebrouck and all the staff are just as good. Truly thankful that we have Hazebrouck on our doorstep and highly recommend.

Our daughter joined Hazebrouck in September at the age of 9-months-old. We were concerned about her being so little, but the staff at Hazebrouck made us feel at ease with their professionalism with our daughter. The settling in days helped our daughter to get comfortable to the new environment and the new routine, so when she began her full days, she was one happy child. The staff have been extremely impressive in helping her with her developmental skills, from playing with other children to following instructions. The staff are brilliant at sharing valuable information about our daughter and any changes within the nursery. We are very happy with our choice of nursery and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you for making this transition very easy for us.

My two year old started in January for only one day a week and we were worried she wouldn’t settle in very well, but she absolutely loves it. She’s still upset when she’s dropped off but her key worker is brilliant in reassuring her - as well as another member of staff, she talks about them both a lot at home! The manager, was fantastic with all my queries and helping us get everything set up. I fell in love with this place as soon as I got there, I love the forest school and all the outdoor space for the children as well as the lovely rooms with free play and the activities they do. The staff are so lovely and friendly. They upload everything throughout the day on the portal and it’s great to see and read what she’s been getting up to. Would 100% recommend.

The food is fresh and varied and the activities are enjoyable for him. I am so pleased we chose Hazebrouck. He is always happy and having fun. I have had to increase the number of days I work recently and he seems so happy there that I haven’t worried about it.

It was daunting choosing a nursery for my child, however, the moment I walked through the door, I was made to feel at ease, my son absolutely adores the staff and freely runs to them, the staff made it easier on drop-offs and I was always informed of his day at pick up, the staff are amazing at communication, the parent zone informed me of my son's day with nap time, food and pictures and the weekly emails informed me of the upcoming events and what they plan on the following week. I highly recommend this nursery.

As a family, we really have enjoyed our time here. I would struggle to find any fault at all. Our child is happy all the time and has plenty to tell us at the end of the day. Thanks and credit to all the staff and management at Hazebrouck.

This nursery has offered an excellent place of care for my child. It can always be daunting choosing where to leave your child but if you do choose Hazebrouck you can guarantee they will feel safe, be well cared for and of course, thrive. The nursery is well managed with new ideas constantly being introduced to keep learning themes current and interesting, there are always well thought about activities available for the children. The French lessons with Madame have been a wonderful extra, really an amazing opportunity for the children to have at such a young age. I will miss visiting Hazebrouck every day now as my child moves on to school, but would 100% recommend to anyone looking for childcare in the area!

I'm delighted to say my child had a lovely time at Hazebrouck. Staff and the care you get is exceptional and they have high standards - hygiene, safety/wellbeing and the curriculum. This nursery is highly recommended.

I was really nervous about preschool for my youngest as she has been such a mummy’s girl but I can’t praise the staff enough for making it so nice for her and me.
