Wise Owls - Farm View Day Nursery

We are extremely happy with Farm View. Our son is very well taken care of and happy there, and it is also very evident how much he learns each day when he comes home and shows or tells us something new. He is also very comfortable with the staff who are all really kind, caring will always take the time to have a chat if needed. Nursery management have always dealt with my inquiries promptly, pliantly and professionally and are always on the ball when it comes to notifying parents of changes at nursery. We really love this nursery and will highly recommend it to anyone.

My little boy has been with Farm View full time since he turned one, he absolutely loves it and bonded well with all the staff and has really grown in the last 18 months. Staff are very supportive of development and work with you to suit your needs. Since returning from lockdown I have seen how my little boy has really benefitted from the interactions with others and building friendship bonds and social skills that were becoming more challenging in isolation at home. We often get home and he asks to be taken back to nursery so clearly a place he is very fond of.

My son has been at Farm View for almost three months and we are more than happy with it. The staff have been fantastic, always friendly, good knowledge and communication. My son settled quickly considering it is his first time ever in a nursery. We would definitely recommend Farm View to any other local parents.

My 20-month-year-old son loves this place. His development has come on leaps and bounds since he started attending. He loves art and craft activities, storytime, and running around the playground. The staff are fantastic. I highly recommend this nursery.

This nursery is a fantastic place and my son thoroughly enjoys attending. He is full time and has been for several months now. The staff are excellent, clearly engaged in each child and can tell you about your child's day when you pick them up. My son is very relaxed here and runs in without a backward turn in the mornings. The outside space is really well organised - has several different areas for the children to play and is well maintained. The food is excellent; a weekly menu is sent out so you know what your child will receive each day. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

My son simply loves going to nursery. All of the staff are friendly, kind and treat my son with the utmost tenderness. As a family, we're very outdoorsy and it was important for us to select a nursery who had and respected our values and approach to childcare. The nursery is perfectly placed on a farm, set way back from the main road. Everyone loves the walks to see the horses and the outdoor play spaces. My husband was a key worker and whilst we opted not to utilise the nursery space available to us initially, the staff were very open and accommodating when we later decided to re-enlist our son. The nursery was very accomodating when we changed to change our days to meet our childcare requirements. My son learns new things every week and the whole family notices his developments every single time they see him. Whilst the nursery is out of our way and there are others that are closer, we could never consider changing our nursery.

My little boy (eight months) has just started with Farm View after we had an unexpected move to the area due to covid. The team at Farm View were incredibly quick to turn around my short notice request for him to start (the house move happening 2 weeks before my return to work after maternity) whilst at all times providing me with comfort and reassurance given my nervousness about him starting nursery. Despite the short notice, they arranged covid-safe settling in days and responded to all my questions about the process and what his day to day would be like. Since starting nursery he has been so happy and is clearly very comfortable with all the nursery staff, giving them huge smiles at drop-off. Each day at pick up the staff give us a quick run down of his day such as - nap times and lengths (following the routine I asked for), bottles drinks and times, food eaten, nappies, activities done, etc. So far it has been a great experience for our family and we definitely recommend the nursery.

My almost-three-year-old daughter is starting attending in July 2020 and she adapted very well from the first two days which made me switch from part-time to full time (I wanted a smooth transition for her initially that's why I had chosen part-time). The staff are very kind and caring and they always give me useful and detailed updates. My daughter is also afraid of heights so the first two days she wasn't keen on being changed on the changing table but the staff was happy to put the changing mat on the floor to make her feel at ease. I also feel at ease with all the measurements that have been taken by the nursery for social distancing and keeping everyone safe. I have no complaints at all and I'm very happy to have found a place at this nursery that my daughter will have lots of fun and develop well in the next two years.

This nursery is incredibly caring and provides the most wonderful fun activities. My children both love going and their interactions and relationships with the staff and other children are brilliant. We also feel confident and happy leaving our children in their care. They’ve dealt with the current uncertain times in such a way to make both parents and children feel at ease.

I couldn’t recommend this setting more.

At the end of each day, our son comes out happy and telling us all about his brilliant day.

Staff so welcoming and reassuring, particularly for myself when returning to work from maternity leave. This has been a huge comfort. Always happy to talk through my son's day and always doing plenty of activities. Can’t recommend enough!

Wise Owls have been great with helping my son along with his development. As a late walker, they really encouraged him to get on his feet and get moving. Recently, I've noticed him starting to "sing songs", which I know he enjoys with them there. I feel his time there so far has been very beneficial to his development in general. Plus the staff are all very lovely and welcoming. They welcome him warmly by name every morning and are very happy to chat at handover about any issues, concerns or, indeed, milestones or positives on either side.

I always wanted my daughter to go to Farm View Nursery after hearing so highly about it from my friends around. So when I got a place for my daughter, I was really excited. Now that she has started going to this nursery I can see a massive change in her with regards to her daily activities like expressing herself, actions on rhymes, eating on her own and very friendly with our friends and family. Its been just two months and wonderful things are happening. After working for long hours, coming back to this place and seeing your child happy is bliss and makes life so much easy with such understanding key workers who are really working hard and are ever smiling. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone in Farmview Nursery for supporting us and making our little stars shine bright.

We love Farm View Nursery. All the staff are brilliant. Being a first time mum and leaving a 6-month-old baby a couple of days a week was very emotional, however with the knowledge that my son is in great hands and seems to have such a fun time it made it so much easier. The home visit and settling in was the great start we needed to get used to this transition. I love getting little updates each day my son attends nursery and every member of staff in the baby room is great with providing this information. I feel all the staff have a real interest in providing the best care and are fully engaged, it’s a lovely relaxed setting. Our son has been at Farm View Nursery for 3 months and I think it has been great for his development. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery and will highly recommend Farm View to all our friends. Thank you to all the staff for the wonderful work you do. It's greatly appreciated.

We are so happy with the choice of Wise Owls for my children, they’re beyond happy and look forward to going each day. They’ve settled without any problems what so ever and that says everything to me.

My older two went here and loved it, my youngest has taken a while to settle in but the staff have been patient and kind on drop-offs and giving him lots of cuddles and attention. Lovely safe environment with a nice outdoor space!

A big thank you to the wonderful team at Farmview who have made the first couple months of nursery for the child I nanny a very easy and happy time. The ladies upstairs have been absolutely wonderful and really helped us with a smooth transition. There is a warm, kind and loving feeling in the room which, for me, is the real difference between this nursery and others we have visited. Thank you for being so attentive, giving him cuddles and love when he wobbled and teaching him good skills and manners already.

My child's needs and my expectations are met on a daily basis. My child leaves Farm View happy every day and is excited to go every morning. I'm pleased I can trust the team to look after my bubba the way I expect.
