Farm View Day Nursery provides a calm and natural learning environment for all children to thrive. They know you want the best for your child. Perfectly placed in the picturesque and peaceful countryside of Spencers Wood, the nursery is situated amongst natural green spaces that maximise outdoor learning. The team provide full-time care within a caring, secure and happy environment in which children can flourish socially, physically and emotionally.

The nursery is fully equipped with five age-appropriate rooms that offer care for children between the ages of 8 weeks to 5 years old. Each room is thoughtfully designed, and equipped with learning resources that encourage age-appropriate development and learning.

The loyal and highly experienced team provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can explore their interests, from arts and crafts to sensory play and phonics. Plus, with unrivalled natural outdoor space and farmland right on the doorstep, they can discover the wonders of nature too!

Conveniently located just 5 minutes from the A33 and M4, the setting makes it easy for busy parents to travel to and from the nursery. There are plenty of parking spaces too so pick up and drop off is really convenient and where you're not rushed out the door. It is most definitely worth the extra mile.

My child went for 5 weeks and It was a horrible experience.
No updates on the application.
No response from the team management.
My son started very happy and then was screaming not to go inside the room. When I asked the room manager and the Nursery manager they said will return back to me but
never got any response as usual.
We decided immediately to change the nursery.
I had many concerns but my child was happy, I raised that to the management but they never responded.
All promises at the beginning were never fulfilled.
I thought it would be helpful for any family to write my review.

My daughter started here at 11 months old and has had such lovely and caring key workers throughout her nursery school journey. All of the staff are so friendly and professional. When they introduced an app this was great for us to see what our daughter was eating, when she was sleeping and what she
was doing/learning. Prior to the app the staff were great at letting us know this verbally at pick-up. Knowing that our daughter was being cared for by loving people made such a difference and I'm sad we've moved away and had to leave the nursery - I don't think we'll find such a nice nursery and setting again. Special thanks to the whole team our daughter was very fond of you all.

My daughter has been going to Wise Owls - Farm View since she was 9 months old and is now in their preschool.
The care that the team have for the children is outstanding! My daughter absolutely loves it there, and I have so much trust in the team to look after my daughter.
I love hearing about what
she has been doing that day and all of the fun activities they have been up to as well as watching her learn how to be independent and get ready for school - they’re really good at promoting independence and encouraging her character.
She always has so much fun and has made great friends. Thank you to the team for always going above and beyond!

Wise Owls - Farm View is absolutely fantastic. My three-year-old son is so happy there and has been since he started in 2021. We don't ever worry about him, but instead, are reassured that whatever he is up to, he is happy and well looked after. He loves group time and always comes home singing songs
of the day or telling me all about the stories they have been reading and learning about or even that I'm not washing my hands correctly, and he shows me how they taught him at nursery! And it lasts 2 minutes! Even when I collect him later in the afternoon, towards closing time, there is a structured activity such as a parachute game or story, and I can hear the children laughing before I even get to the door. The staff are so very caring and fun for my child to be around, and he looks up to them and is inspired by them. He will be leaving shortly to go to a school preschool, but my two-year-old daughter will be taking his place. Thank you, Farm View.

My son has attended Farm View Day Nursery since February when he was 11 months old. I cannot express how happy we are with the nursery. The staff have been amazing since day one, and our son gets excited to see all his friends and the staff when we drop him off. You can absolutely tell that all of the
staff in Owlets know the children they are caring for really well and that they really want to make sure the children get the most out of their experience at nursery. My son has learned so much since joining.
Thank you so much for all your hard work Farm View. It's hard balancing work and parenthood, and knowing that my son is being cared for so well, and is so happy, makes all the difference.

All at Wise Owls - Thank you all so much for the care you have shown my son in the time he’s been with you. It’s been really fantastic for him and his development and one of the highlights of my day is when he comes barreling out of the door to show me the thing he’s drawn, made or otherwise cobbled
together. He has really benefited from the approach to childcare that you all have which has really seemed to nurture his particular characteristics and needs, so many of you suit his style and treat him like the lovely little human he is which no doubt has helped him to develop even further.
I’d also like to thank you all for your help and support through COVID. It has been a very challenging time for everyone but speaking personally your efforts throughout have definitely helped our family through this “interesting” time.

My 2 year old son has been attending Wise Owls - Farm View Day Nursery for half a year now and we are very happy with the day nursery. The staff are amazing, attentive and kind - we get regular feedback on the child's development. My son loves going there and adores the staff. He eats very well there

Thank you to all of the wonderful staff who work at this amazing nursery. My daughter has been here 4 years and we are so sad she is leaving. All the staff are so kind, caring and reassuring. When my daughter was 7 months they really supported me in her transition into the baby room, they were so kind
and very informative at the end of each day always answering any questions that I had so cheerfully. I could tell her keyworkers truly cared about all aspects of her well-being and they had built a real connection through her time in each room. There was real structure when she moved through each room and they were very invested in her development and ‘next steps’ …..She can now confidently write her name before going to school thanks to her current keyworker. The owner was also very informative and quick acting throughout the pandemic. As a nurse she insured the nursery remained open and really supported us on the frontline. An outstanding nursery and team.

Incredibly disappointed with all aspects of Farm View. My daughter was very unhappy going here and she is a very happy and confident little girl normally. On one drop off the staff member was taking a personal call and ignored the distress of my daughter to continue the call. After giving notice it
came to light they had made an error on my invoice and thus took it upon themselves to keep my deposit. Appreciate there have been staffing issues due to Covid but this should be managed better to ensure levels of service do not drop, especially when looking after young children.

This nursery has been amazing for my daughter. My daughter always comes home so happy and tells me all about her day. She has a great bond with her key worker and gets excited to see her.
My daughter has improved on so many different aspects for example, her eating has improved, she drinks more water,
and her socialising with other children has improved greatly. Getting my daughter a place at Wise Owls - Farm View Day Nursery has been a great decision.
Will highly recommend.

My daughter started this nursery last month and she has happily settled in. The staff in her room know her very well and are always friendly. My daughter was at a previous nursery which she had a bad experience at and didn't like to go to each morning, the difference in her from attending is amazing
and makes me so happy that she once again enjoys going to nursery and is always so happy when I pick her up. She can't wait to tell me about her day and always says she has had lots of fun. Her confidence has grown so much in a short period of time, and her learning has increased with now counting to 10 and knowing nursery rhymes so quickly. Couldn't ask for a better and more friendly nursery to attend. Highly recommend as the setting and staff are lovely.

Our little boy started at Farm View a few months ago and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The staff are amazing and have helped him to settle in quickly. They’re so helpful with all of my silly questions, and we love hearing about all the fun things he gets up to every day. The whole team have helped

Part of me feels like it’s too early for me to write a review for Wise Owls as my daughter has not been there for long however, I would like to share my experiences so far as I am just over the moon with how well my daughter (2) has settled in. I can't put into words just how amazing the girls here
are. The communication is brilliant along with the support. I was lucky enough to be able to stay on my daughter's 1st settling-in session and it was lovely to see just how happy and content all the other kids were. It really put my mind at ease. My girl comes out at the end of the day so happy and bright - to me that says it all. I am so, so pleased I went ahead with this nursery, for me it’s everything I was looking for and more.

I gained my Diploma in Childcare in 2008 and have worked in different settings with a variety of age groups, ever since. One of these was a Swiss nursery, which I found very interesting and a lot of fun. I have been a team member at Farm View since 2013 and enjoy working with the team and the children.


I enjoy providing creative activities for the children and I believe that if you aren't messy then you're not exploring the activity to the fullest!! I aim for the children in my care to have as much fun as possible and love to be able to provide them with many learning opportunities along the way.
