Farm View Day Nursery provides a calm and natural learning environment for all children to thrive. They know you want the best for your child. Perfectly placed in the picturesque and peaceful countryside of Spencers Wood, the nursery is situated amongst natural green spaces that maximise outdoor learning. The team provide full-time care within a caring, secure and happy environment in which children can flourish socially, physically and emotionally.

The nursery is fully equipped with five age-appropriate rooms that offer care for children between the ages of 8 weeks to 5 years old. Each room is thoughtfully designed, and equipped with learning resources that encourage age-appropriate development and learning.

The loyal and highly experienced team provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can explore their interests, from arts and crafts to sensory play and phonics. Plus, with unrivalled natural outdoor space and farmland right on the doorstep, they can discover the wonders of nature too!

Conveniently located just 5 minutes from the A33 and M4, the setting makes it easy for busy parents to travel to and from the nursery. There are plenty of parking spaces too so pick up and drop off is really convenient and where you're not rushed out the door. It is most definitely worth the extra mile.

Lovely setting, friendly staff, informative management and my daughter is really happy here. She loves going on walks to see the horses and she loves her key worker. They have made her start to nursery a breeze.

I am sad that my son is leaving this summer to go to school. He loves the kids and the staff and they have helped his confidence so much. He is always happy when he leaves and excited to tell me about his afternoon.

My son has recently joined Farm View Nursery and all the staff have been lovely to help him settle in. They keep in touch with us well and the children seem to be doing a range of activities. They are flexible to the children's routines and our son has taken to them very well.

Nice staff, happy to accommodate different needs, always keep you updated on things (both the carers and the women in the office dealing with admin). Our son feels comfortable there and I love the fact that it is near a farm, rather than a busy town centre or a busy road. The children have access to

My son has been going to Farm View for 4 months and absolutely loves it! All the staff are so friendly! We were shown around by a team member who was so helpful explaining the daily running of the nursery and how they monitor and help a child develop. She was very warm and reassuring. All the staff
that look after my son have helped him develop with language, counting and social skills. I have seen a huge leap in his confidence since he started at Farm View nursery. We are so glad we chose Farm View!

My son has been with Farm View for a year now, he was 6 months old when we first came, it was a very emotional time for me as a mother and also for my baby as he was so young, the girls here made this extremely hard experience so much easier to deal with and made me feel at ease with my decision to
go back to work. Obviously, due to Covid, we have had many months off so when we were allowed back to nursery the separation anxiety was in full flow and again the staff made this transition phase a lot easier to deal with and I felt comfortable with how he was being looked after, he is now absolutely thriving and is picking up new words so quickly, he is such a happy boy when I pick him up and I couldn't be happier knowing he is in such safe hands! You guys have been an absolute godsend through these hard times!

Fabulous countryside Nursery with a wonderful friendly family vibe! Our little girl started at Farm View in July 2020 (and obviously not under normal circumstances due to Covid) however for the past 7 months she has been loving going to Nursery. Everyone was so supportive of her settling in process
whilst all done in a covid-secure way. We have been so thankful for the measures that Farm View has put in place to keep the Nursery open as it is such a wonderful part of 'normal' for our little one. The daily activities in the Owlet room (and across the whole nursery) are so different that her experience and development is encouraged in so many different and engaging ways - not to mention her social development - she is becoming quite the social butterfly always mentioning the names of friends from her bubble! We are a very outdoor orientated family so I am always delighted that the children are encouraged to go outside whatever the weather! We love this Nursery and highly recommend!

My son has been attending Farm View for 16 months and thoroughly enjoys it. Initially, my son struggled with separation anxiety but all the staff in the baby room reassured both him and me and he settled in very quickly. During his time in the baby room, he developed well, learning how to feed himself
and how to communicate effectively. Now he has moved into Little Owls, he really enjoys the structure and often talks about the activities he has participated in. He loves messy play and singing and dancing and often repeats nursery songs when at home. During the lockdown, there were plenty of activity packs sent to us which we enjoyed working through and upon returning to nursery, the staff were brilliant at settling my son back in. The staff are outstanding, they've supported and reassured us from the minute we arrived, they provide detailed, specific handovers and they are always wearing a smile! My son is so happy here. We all love Farm View and would highly recommend it.

My daughter is 2 and has been attending Farm View Day Nursery for 18 months now and is very happy to be there. The nursery staff are all great and go beyond for the children, after having a three-month break due to Covid it took a while to settle my daughter again and the staff were great at helping
with this. I like that they take time to chat through how the day has been even with Covid restrictions in place. As parents, we love the activities and outdoor play that is encouraged even in winter! And we enjoy seeing how much she is developing being in the nursery setting.

We are extremely happy with Farm View. Our son is very well taken care of and happy there, and it is also very evident how much he learns each day when he comes home and shows or tells us something new. He is also very comfortable with the staff who are all really kind, caring will always take the time
to have a chat if needed. Nursery management have always dealt with my inquiries promptly, pliantly and professionally and are always on the ball when it comes to notifying parents of changes at nursery. We really love this nursery and will highly recommend it to anyone.

My little boy has been with Farm View full time since he turned one, he absolutely loves it and bonded well with all the staff and has really grown in the last 18 months. Staff are very supportive of development and work with you to suit your needs. Since returning from lockdown I have seen how my little
boy has really benefitted from the interactions with others and building friendship bonds and social skills that were becoming more challenging in isolation at home. We often get home and he asks to be taken back to nursery so clearly a place he is very fond of.

My 20-month-year-old son loves this place. His development has come on leaps and bounds since he started attending. He loves art and craft activities, storytime, and running around the playground. The staff are fantastic. I highly recommend this nursery.

This nursery is a fantastic place and my son thoroughly enjoys attending. He is full time and has been for several months now. The staff are excellent, clearly engaged in each child and can tell you about your child's day when you pick them up. My son is very relaxed here and runs in without a backward
turn in the mornings. The outside space is really well organised - has several different areas for the children to play and is well maintained. The food is excellent; a weekly menu is sent out so you know what your child will receive each day. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

My son simply loves going to nursery. All of the staff are friendly, kind and treat my son with the utmost tenderness. As a family, we're very outdoorsy and it was important for us to select a nursery who had and respected our values and approach to childcare. The nursery is perfectly placed on a farm,
set way back from the main road. Everyone loves the walks to see the horses and the outdoor play spaces. My husband was a key worker and whilst we opted not to utilise the nursery space available to us initially, the staff were very open and accommodating when we later decided to re-enlist our son. The nursery was very accomodating when we changed to change our days to meet our childcare requirements. My son learns new things every week and the whole family notices his developments every single time they see him. Whilst the nursery is out of our way and there are others that are closer, we could never consider changing our nursery.

My little boy (eight months) has just started with Farm View after we had an unexpected move to the area due to covid. The team at Farm View were incredibly quick to turn around my short notice request for him to start (the house move happening 2 weeks before my return to work after maternity) whilst
at all times providing me with comfort and reassurance given my nervousness about him starting nursery. Despite the short notice, they arranged covid-safe settling in days and responded to all my questions about the process and what his day to day would be like. Since starting nursery he has been so happy and is clearly very comfortable with all the nursery staff, giving them huge smiles at drop-off. Each day at pick up the staff give us a quick run down of his day such as - nap times and lengths (following the routine I asked for), bottles drinks and times, food eaten, nappies, activities done, etc. So far it has been a great experience for our family and we definitely recommend the nursery.

My almost-three-year-old daughter is starting attending in July 2020 and she adapted very well from the first two days which made me switch from part-time to full time (I wanted a smooth transition for her initially that's why I had chosen part-time). The staff are very kind and caring and they always
give me useful and detailed updates. My daughter is also afraid of heights so the first two days she wasn't keen on being changed on the changing table but the staff was happy to put the changing mat on the floor to make her feel at ease. I also feel at ease with all the measurements that have been taken by the nursery for social distancing and keeping everyone safe. I have no complaints at all and I'm very happy to have found a place at this nursery that my daughter will have lots of fun and develop well in the next two years.

Angela has been a qualified nursery nurse for 34 years. She has worked in day nursery settings, after-school clubs and for over 18 years in the NHS, from preterm babies up to 11 years of age. She is a mum of 2 daughters and has 3 grandchildren whom she loves to spend time with.


Angela is excited about being the Manager of this Nursery, and her passion is good quality education and helping children to reach their full potential before going to school.

I gained my Diploma in Childcare in 2008 and have worked in different settings with a variety of age groups, ever since. One of these was a Swiss nursery, which I found very interesting and a lot of fun. I have been a team member at Farm View since 2013 and enjoy working with the team and the children.


I enjoy providing creative activities for the children and I believe that if you aren't messy then you're not exploring the activity to the fullest!! I aim for the children in my care to have as much fun as possible and love to be able to provide them with many learning opportunities along the way.
