Orchard House Oak Tree Day Nursery (Finchampstead)

My Son has been at Oak Tree from 11 months until leaving for Primary School in August 2017. We have been delighted with the care and attention he has received during his time there. My Daughter is also at Oak Tree and I anticipate shell be there until she leaves for school too. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they have loads of energy for playing with and occupying the children. The facilities, including the excellent outdoor space, are great,m and the meals are lovely and healthy too. Thank you!

My 3 yr old and 2 yr old attend. The atmosphere is warm and fun. I can really see the progression both have made since attending, my son comes home every day having learned something new. My daughter is very shy but is happy and confident there. The staff are caring, kind and thoughtful, and take excellent care of the children. They all work extremely hard and create new activities and themes to encourage new interests. They get the children involved in so many things, e.g. sports days, exercise coaches, science classes and eggs to hatch at Easter. The toys and facilities are plenty and clean. The opening hours are very convenient and the food is fresh and healthy. Communication is great - weekly update email, a parents forum and they use an electronic system to upload observations and photos of the children's' learning. They hold parents evenings and ran a school readiness session for parents of pre-school children, with on-going support towards this. They also do a lot for charity.

My son started in September this year and loves the nursery. He is excited to go on the days he is there and the staff are all friendly and extremely professional.

We love Oak Tree and can't rate it highly enough! Excellent care has been taken of both of our girls and they have both thrived here. The staff have always been so attentive and we have never had any concern. We can go to work and know they will be having an amazing time! Thank you, Oak Tree!

My son has attended since 11 months old and is now 2 and a half. He’s been in three rooms and every person that has cared for him has been faultless. They care so much about his wellbeing and development which is evident in his speech, care for others and happiness.

We can see our daughter being very happy in the nursery and this is all we need! She is developing in a very welcoming and soothing environment with happy faces all around. We are well informed about her day, every day, some times with interesting observations and photos that we can see through the app, which is also a great feature. Overall, I would recommend this nursery, for the people, the environment, the cleanliness, the beautiful garden, the level of learning! Well done!

Overall I am really happy with the nursery, as my son is happy and I have recommended to many people and will continue to do so. Thank you to all the staff for making this a clean, safe and fun environment for all the children.

Professional, well run and well-kept nursery. High standards throughout. Excellent food that is nutritional and without cakes, biscuits. Educates good behaviour into children and sets expectations. Good communications via email that are regular as well as ad-hoc when needed.

We moved our toddler to Oak Tree in March 2017 and are delighted with how he has progressed in that time!

Not only do they focus on the more academic side of learning through play and more structured learning activities, they also ensure that the children keep active and love that as well as lots of time outside in the garden area, they have an external sports coach that comes in every week to teach the children different sports. My little one absolutely loves it!

The staff are always available to speak to at both drop off and pick up times should we have any questions and we always receive a detailed account of what our little one has been up to during the day, in terms of activities, food and sleep etc. We also love that we can see pictures and development logs on the parent portal and the weekly memos are great!

My son just finishes his nursery having been at this nursery for close to 5 years now. He has basically grown with the nursery and learned so much with his friends and carers. He had a great time here. Thank you!

This nursery and its team have an amazing family feel, like a home from home, my son has been so happy and relaxed here, instead of crying when I drop him off (like his old nursery) he cries when I pick him up because he never wants to leave. My son has come on leaps and bounds with his learning since joining the structured and fun pre school room. Can't say if value for money as my son was funded only.

Really good nursery staff are helpful, friendly and really care for the children. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good nursery for their children.

He has such an amazing relationship with a few of the girls in Bumble Bees you can really tell the among of time and effort they have put into him.

As a parent, I really like the Parent Zone app and feel that I'm kept up to date with everything he's done in the day. Overall, I can't rate Oak Tree Nursery highly enough!

We are very happy with this nursery.

I cannot recommend Oak tree enough, my children started in October, 1 had special needs and nothing is ever to much trouble. My boys absolutely love the outside and inside areas of the nursery, it is more like an additional family, not just people who look after my children. I know they are safe and cared for which is the most important thing.

My daughter has attended Oak Tree nursery for a number of years now. It is a wonderful nursery, with excellent management and staff.

There is a wide variety of activities for the children to do and every day it is wonderful to see the joy and excitement in the children's faces after their great day.

Oak Tree has been a fantastic nursery for my daughter. Staff clearly care deeply for the welfare and progress of the children. They are sensitive to individual needs and have made the nursery a happy and welcoming place.

My little girl absolutely loves it here. When she first started there were plenty of tears but the team are so fabulous that it didn't take long for her to settle. Now she goes in full of smiles and legs kicking with excitement. Since joining Oak Tree my daughter has gained so much confidence and developed so many new skills. She's stimulated and well cared for.

A great interactive nursery, with high levels of staff care and a varied selection of food and activities. My daughter has been going to the above nursery for just over a year and the care has been consistent, throughout this time.
