Orchard House Oak Tree Day Nursery (Finchampstead)

I would highly recommend this nursery!!

I have had 2 children at Oak Tree Nursery from the first day I felt secure with my baby at nursery. I felt my childs need were paramount. During Covid the advice and support was excellent to get us all back to work and providing a safe environment for the children. Preschool has prepared my child really well for school and given her the confidence to go to school and has given her the skills for the next stage.

I really believe that Oak Tree has been the best decision for my daughter. She has been in Caterpillars and Ladybirds and is now in the process of transitioning to Bumblesbees. She is incredibly happy and absolutely loves coming into nursery. She has a wonderful relationship with her keyworker and the whole team encourages and supports her quirky interests and personality. We love Oak Tree.

My son has attended 4 different nurseries in his life and none can even compare to Oak Tree Day Nursery. Simply Amazing!

I highly recommend the nursery and staff who have helped my son, enjoy his early years and is now clearly demonstrating his school readiness. Thank you Oak Tree!

My daughter has gone to Oak Tree since she was a baby. She loves it, always dying to get out of the car when we pull up and sometimes I don’t even get a goodbye as she’s eager to get into The bumblebees room. She has formed great relationships with the children and the staff in the nursery and always talks about the staff in the car on the way home. The staff at Oak Tree are so friendly and always make the effort to tell me about my daughters day and what foods she has eaten. They keep me informed of her progress and I love that they take photos for me to see what she gets up to. I can’t recommend Oak Tree enough.

I have had at least one of my three children at Oaktree for the past 7-years. The staff are exceptional - they are professional and caring, and make each child feel special, and the parents part of their child’s experience. I have particularly been impressed with the way Oaktree has handled the current virus situation and welcomed the children back. My children have always been very happy at Oaktree, and I couldn’t recommend the nursery more to prospective parents.

The communication and approach around the covid situation and follow up has exceeded all my expectations around the professionalism, expertise and operation of a top of its class daily function. It is by far and above the best I have seen when comparing to my friend's children's nurseries and I am so happy and proud that my son has the privilege of attending Oak Tree.

We would like to thank the staff at Oaktree for helping our daughter feel more settled at nursery in the last two weeks. Our daughter has become very unsure and afraid of other people during lockdown and was very upset when she first returned to nursery last week. The staff kept in touch with me and let me know that she was doing really well and each time she attends she settles really quickly now. These are strange times and the nursery has been fantastic at giving us ideas for activities whilst stuck at home and being really supportive for returning when parents are ready to do so. I have always been really happy with Oaktree and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for high quality, considered childcare at any age.

Such a great team, my baby always seems so happy to go to the nursery and never wants to leave. She's come on leaps and bounds since starting and I have no doubt it's because of the team.

Since both of my children starting nursery in June 2019, they have grown in confidence and have come on in leaps and bounds with their development. All the staff are warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. My children are so happy coming to nursery and always talk about how much fun they have had. Would 100% recommend.

I can't speak highly enough of all the staff, it has a great atmosphere and the children are clearly thriving. I would recommend this nursery to anybody and I'm extremely happy with the care my children receive.

My son has been attending Oak Tree Day Nursery since May 2017 and he truly loves it there. He's started in Caterpillars when he was 9 months old and then transitioned to Ladybirds when he was around 16 months old where he is absolutely thriving with the fun exciting environment and activities he gets to take part in. He absolutely LOVES the garden and would spend all day every day out there if he could! He has lots of little friends and really enjoys telling me all about his day when I pick him up. His speech is coming on leaps and bounds and I love seeing his confident cheeky character develop with a lot of thanks to all the lovely staff at Oak Tree. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!

My baby started at Oak Tree when he was only 6 weeks old. I was so worried at the beginning of him starting nursery at that early age but he settled really well. The staff at Oak Tree are always cheerful and caring.they always write a not to inform me how many feeds he had, his naps and their observations to him during the day. I really liked the parent zone app as it shows me the photos of my baby and his progress every day especially with the professional assessment comments. Thanks so much to all staff at Oak Tree for loving, caring and hard work. Thanks to management for the quick response to any emails. I highly recommend Oak Tree.

My daughter has been at Oak Tree since the age of 9 months and has just gone up to preschool at the age of 3. She has grown and developed so much since starting at the nursery and has made so many friends and loves the team. The staff are always attentive and friendly, and I always receive a detailed report when picking her up of how she has spent the day and the fun she has had! The facilities are fantastic, and the office team are always helpful and informative and give me the flexibility to book extra sessions whenever needed.

My daughter currently attends pre-school at Oak Tree, having recently progressed from the Bumblebees room. Since she started in the spring, she has settled in beautifully and I couldn't be happier with her progress and her learning. She absolutely adores it here and has formed close bonds with a lot of the staff here, especially her key workers. The facilities are wonderful and my daughter especially loves the garden and outdoor space. I think their golden values are fantastic, as is the care she receives. The staff are always very friendly and I always feel informed of how my child's day at nursery has been, what she has learnt, how she has played etc. I couldn't recommend Oak Tree more highly!

Fabulous nursery; staff are so attentive to all the children. Care standard is excellent - and flexibility is there when you need it.
