Orchard House Oak Tree Day Nursery (Finchampstead)

The children that I care for have attended Oak Tree for a year now and in this time, they have really thrived from their experiences they have had there.

From the daily planned activities, free flow to the garden area and lovely meals that they eat. I always feel welcomed to the room and the staff give me a hand over about their day which gives me the information to continue meeting their needs when in my charge.

Oak Tree Day Nursery (Finchampstead) has provided a brilliant start to my son's pre-school education. My son found it very difficult to settle in at first as he was so used to being with me. The staff at Oak Tree have really helped us as a family to overcome his initial worries and within no time he has settled and loves every minute of his time there. With patience and care, the staff have helped him to build up relationships with all of the staff and children. The nursery is a safe, happy and friendly environment. His development goes from strength to strength and we are excited to see him grow and progress.

Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending Oaktree Nursery. We were nervous about her attending nursery at such a young age (9 months). The team have been absolutely fantastic in keeping her entertained and us informed.

She enjoys a variety of activities, whether that’s painting, sensory play and eating! The all round quality of Oaktree is second to none. The staff are friendly, caring and attentive. There are a number of ways that they let us know how our daughter is progressing - whether that's through the ParentZone mobile app, an end of day report, a quick chat in the morning or evening, or through attending one of the nursery's Open Days.

My son currently attends Oak Tree and has done since he was a baby. The nursery itself is bright, clean and like a home away from home. The staff in his room welcome him every morning with smiles and cuddles and I feel 100% comfortable leaving him there. He was a picky baby and not great with strangers but he has flourished under the care and attention he receives from the staff and now quite often wants to know why we aren't going to nursery on a Saturday morning! The meals are varied and I appreciate that the children receive a proper meal for dinner as well as lunch. The nursery stays involved with parents via regular parent meetings and weekly emails about what's going on in the nursery which is great because I can often discuss with my son what he will be getting up to at nursery next week. I would recommend Oak Tree for anyone who likes that homely feel for their child and a real sense of love from the staff.

The food is very nutritious and our daughter often mentions the kitchen assistant and likes to wave to him in the kitchen on her way home.

Our twin boys have excelled since being in nursery. The facilities team and key workers are excellent in all regards. The boys were very premature and Oak Tree works tirelessly to minimise the gaps. We would recommend Oak Tree Finchampstead every opportunity we could.

Our baby boy has been with Oak Tree Day Nursery since he was 5 months old. He is now 22 months. All of the staff are extremely loving and caring and attentive to him. They always celebrate his achievements with so much enthusiasm. Oak Tree staff keep us very well informed of all his daily activities, food intake (which is so healthy and yummy and wonderfully cooked on site) and nappy changing. It is a joy to see how much he has developed in nearly 1 and half years when we look through his dossier. The range of toys and activities is very broad, to keep little people happily learning. The garden space is divided so that every room has their own little space, where they explore colours, textures, sounds, nature. We are very happy with the nursery and would certainly recommend it.

We had a bit of a rocky start, partly because my son was unsettled (first time in nursery) and partly through lack of communication during change of manager. However I think we have now got over the hurdle and we have had a massive turnaround and I now feel absolutely delighted with this nursery. I feel that on occasions there is a lack of resources e.g paper, working pens etc but overall this is simple to resolve. I would like to see my sons learning log now that we have been here 9 weeks.

Great nursery and amazing staff! My son is finishing his first year there and now moving from Bumblebees to Pre - school. There is great SENCO rep - my little one has hearing aids and she was looking after him from the very first day. He loves spending time at nursery and he absolutely adores her! If you looking for great nursery - look no further!

Wow what a fantastic nursery, the staff all work so well together, they are friendly, very welcoming have fabulous communication with the children, the food is great (daughter loves it) this nursery has helped my daughter's learning and development so much.

Staff always helpful and willing to accommodate various needs of our daughter during her progression through the nursery structure from ladybirds to bumblebees.

All staff are excellent. Both of my kids have loved going. I would recommend the nursery. .

My daughter has started in Oak Tree in February and has really loved it from day 1. The staff are lovely and made her feel so welcome. Having moved a long way from overseas we were afraid our daughter might find it difficult to settle in a new nursery but she loved it from the beginning. She really loves the wonderful outdoor play area in particular.

Quality of learning is excellent with key topic areas identified and shared very well with children. An overall excellent experience. I have been using Oaktree for 8 years and it had highs and lows. I feel like I have got the great Oaktree back with it's current team.

Oak Tree Nursery is an excellent facility, the staff are extremely competent and nurturing to the children. My girls love their time spent there and are always happy to go. The food provided is excellent and the variety is very good. Management is also very helpful and available to discuss any concerns or answer any query. I am glad my girls have the opportunity to be part of the Oak Tree environment.

Both my daughters have attended this nursery and we all absolutely love it. My daughter is always well looked after and I'm content leaving her. We have both grown a bond with our key worker, she is wonderful key worker as are some of the other ladies who help to look after my daughter. I will be safe when she no longer comes here.

Oaktree primary school?? Please!!

My experience with Oak Tree has been wonderful, I couldn't ask for a better nursery. Being working parents, my 3 year old daughter attends Oak Tree full time. The staff in Oak Tree are professional and experienced, they have helped my child to learn and grow to be more independent. It has been nice to be able to discuss with the staff to get practical advice during challenging times I experienced with my daughter. The staff and nursery manager really look out for us and are so caring. Thank you Oak Tree and all the staff working here! I would definitely recommend this nursery, you wont be left disappointed.

I am one of the parents of a child attending Oak Tree. My son is about to complete his first term at Oak Tree and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff and the business for everything. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time and I have seen him develop many new skills. He really enjoys his sessions at nursery and as a parent this is all you can ask for. All the staff have been very helpful and friendly throughout. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.
