Quackers Day Nursery Chieveley

We have been thrilled with the team at Quackers! From day one, they have been so accommodating, friendly, thorough and overall, brilliant! We love the updates we receive on our daughter's daily activities and overall well-being and development at nursery. We love how different each day is and the types of activities the Quackers team provides to keep progressing the kids exposure to new things! I think our daughter's smiley face and excitement at the end of the day, says it all! Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about Quackers. The staff are incredible, the facilities are perfect for all nursery ages. It is wonderful knowing that my child is safe when I drop him off. He walks in every morning so happy to be there and that is worth every penny. They eat well, read lots of books and invent some fantastic games to aid learning. My child has benefitted from their care and I would recommend them to anyone.

I enjoy the inclusion we have in what our children are doing and I feel comfortable and confident, leaving our children there, knowing that they will be taken care of in the way I like. Our second child has since joined and it's not been as plain sailing, but as expected, the nursery communicates, supports and adapts to his needs, and mine and continues to assist in the best way, to support my son. I am looking forward to seeing the continual growth. Thank you Quackers, for being you.

Our daughter has settled in well and thoroughly enjoys going to Quackers. She is always happy to go each morning and also happy when you find her at the end of their busy and fun days. Caring and attentive staff.

We recently started our youngest at Quackers and are delighted with the support he's received with settling into the nursery. He was nearly 3 years old when he started and had not attended a nursery setting before, but in addition to his settling-in visits, it was only a couple of weeks before he was happily looking forward to each day and recounting what'd he'd been up to at the end of each day. Our eldest also used to attend Quackers prior to this, having had to move him from his original nursery, as they were not able to adequately support a food allergy he had. We were delighted with the support he also received during his time at Quackers, both with his allergy and witnessing his all-round development while he was there. It is always apparent at pickup time how at ease the children are with the staff and each other, as well as the variety of opportunities and experiences Quackers, offer, so we would not hesitate in recommending Quackers as a nursery setting and have done so, countless times!

All the staff at Quackers have been amazing at helping our little girl settle into her first month at nursery. A great setup in lovely surroundings and brilliant, daily feedback. Would highly recommend.

We could not love Quackers more. It feels like leaving your children with a trusted family member. The nurturing environment, varied activities and provision is second to none. We moved our older son here from a popular local nursery and since moving, he has really flourished. The supportive, loving and hard-working team have turned his whole preschool experience into the wonder-filled and playful learning opportunity that every child deserves. Our younger son started in the baby room at the same time and we cannot fault the communication, provision and loving care we have experienced. Although the outside space may be smaller than some other nurseries, it is filled with well thought out equipment and resources and the variety of activities presented to the children is far wider than we have experienced previously. We feel that the smaller environment actually allows for more targeted provision and a more supportive approach.

We love Quackers! They have been absolutely fantastic with my son who, when starting, had extra health needs (which they managed amazingly). I have always been able to trust them completely to care for him, teach him, make him happy and keep him safe. I have older children who had attended a much bigger nursery, but Quackers are my favourite by far, it has such a nice family feel and my son is always so excited to go.

My boy has been at Quackers for ten months now and I am always so impressed with how they look after the kids, they are all one big family. The days are structured, but fun, with lots of opportunities for learning new words, songs and actions. Health and safety is taken seriously and we are notified promptly of any accidents. They are really supportive to parents and the recent parents' evening was brilliant and ensures everyone is on the same page with areas of focus. Moving up through the various rooms is done slowly at the child's pace and parents are kept informed throughout. All the staff are extremely friendly, approachable and genuinely love the kids they spend their days with. Absolutely brilliant and we would be lost without them!

The staff at Quackers Nursery are diligent, supportive and exceptionally caring. Having been a 'customer' at Quackers now for almost two years, I can confirm that I can so happy with the care that is given daily to my child. The staff know the children well and are keen to be involved in their care and also to be on hand to offer advice and support for all aspects of growth and development. Staff have been really supportive during developmental stages and their kindness shines through. I think that's the most important aspect to highlight, the staff are so kind and my child responds to this style of care, well. The activities and tasks that children undertake are fun and really enjoyable and my child talks continually about what is undertaken on a daily basis. They are keen to ensure that children cover a wide range and also offer targets and ideas on how to develop progress at home. We are delighted with everyone at Quackers and can't thank them enough for all they do for our child.

Quackers Nursery have really lovely staff. They are very respectful and have listened to everything I want for my child. They have a great outdoor space where the children can run around, so messy play, and have lots to play with. They communicate very well and give me all the information I need to know about my child at the end of the day.

My daughter has been attending Quackers since she was 9 months old. I looked around a few nurseries and Quackers stood out by miles and I am so glad I chose Quackers. My daughter has thrived from strength to strength there. All the team members are fantastic, they are all so loving and caring. They provide lovely home-cooked meals with such a variety of foods over the three-week rota. We love being a part of the Quackers family.

We were sold on the family feel of the nursery and this feeling has continued since our daughter started eight months ago. Even with new members of staff or staff changing rooms, I genuinely haven't met one person who doesn't care deeply about looking after my child. There are so many art and craft activities, outdoor time and genuine effort put into the development of my child, she looks forward to going every day. We recently had a very detailed parents' evening report and face-to-face discussion and I love the daily photos and updates. The range of food is also excellent and plenty of snacks are offered in between meals. I recently gave birth and feel that the staff genuinely cared about how I was getting on and if they could provide any further support.

I was very unhappy with this nursery. I have complained to them and been accused of lying, I have reported my concerns to Ofsted. The manager has been uncooperative and refused to acknowledge or apologise about the concerns I raised and have evidence to back them up.

I cannot praise the staff at Quackers enough. My son went there from 10 months old and has now left to start school, but he absolutely loved his time there, the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. It is like one big family there. I will definitely be recommending Quackers to anyone I know.

Quackers is the only nursery that gave me peace of mind and where staff work so well together. I sadly wish that they were closer to my home!

My husband and I have always been very happy with Quackers. One of the hardest decisions as a parent is to leave your child in the care of strangers. However, as a working parent who needed the income, I had no choice, therefore, my choice of nursery was important. I visited a few and immediately felt Quackers was right for my son and us. The nursery is clean and well kept. The staff are very friendly but also competent. They put your child's needs first and provide a wide range of activities which help to develop their skills. The food provision is also really good with fresh, home cooked meals cooked and prepared freshly each day.

My son has settled in well to nursery he has built a good relationship with his key worker and is always happy there. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming to me as a parent and my child. They learn about different things each week and have a good mix of free play. I am very pleased with our choice of nursery.

My son has been attending Quackers Day Nursery since he was 8 months old. The care and individual attention he receives has contributed to him developing into a confident and happy 3 year old. The staff has always worked closely with me and my husband and a team we have helped my son reach and exceed milestones. When he was diagnosed with a severe peanut allergy the support from Quackers Day Nursery was outstanding. Their policy around nuts and allergy is flawless but it was the personal touch that made the difference between feeling "special" or like a "freak".
