and learning opportunities. The staff are kind, friendly and full of energy. The menu offered by the chef is always nutritious and well thought out. I'm often quite jealous! Safety and safeguarding always seem to be high on the agenda and I feel our daughter is safe and very well cared for. The staff know all the children and it has a wonderful homely feeling. The range of activities changes daily, with the outdoor space used to the maximum. The curriculum allows the children to progress and prepare as they move through the nursery. A wonderful nursery.

and support for not just the babies but parents too are outstanding! This same ethos has carried through to the toddler room and I can’t be more settled on a placement and albeit group of ‘strangers’ to be taking care of my precious bundle!

our daughter is always happy to see them each morning. They keep us up to date with lots of photos on the app and feedback at the end of each day. The food is also fantastic, and it is great to see the menu in advance on the app.

and he shares his toys at home, as well as indicating his needs. The children do a large range of activities based on various themes from reading books every day to playing outside, messy play, craft activities and we get regular updates. I am incredibly proud that my son gets to attend such a well-rounded and caring childcare setting. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who wants their child to be a considerate, well-rounded individual.

at Acres are kind, caring, inspiring and a dedicated team that I am proud to say prepared my two children for the leap into school. They are confident, happy, social and inquisitive and that is largely down to the time spent at Acres completing educational tasks correct for their age group, exploring and learning in forest school, learning through play and having fun. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Acres of Fun. It is a fantastic place to be able to send your child mainly due to the team but also the fantastic setting.

One of the reasons we chose Acres was the emphasis on outdoor play, and the amount of time he spends outside has surpassed our expectations. The grounds are brilliant and I know he gets a lot of stimulation from being outside in all elements.

We are made to feel welcome as parents and on pick up I'm always given a good overview of what he's been up to.

He is a happy, confident and playful boy. I know the nurture and care from Acres has a huge impact on the person he is becoming, and I couldn't be more confident in their ability to look after him!

He has blossomed as a toddler to a lovely young boy and has had exceptional care and attention from the staff at Acres and his ever growing knowledge often surprises me. He is 3 years old and is doing exceedingly well at Acres.
The weekly menu is extremely inviting. It is interesting and includes lots of fruit and veg and meets recommendations for child nutrition. A real credit to their chef.
The outdoor space is amazing. You have to see it to believe it. They use it to its absolute benefit, teaching about the outside and inside world in an outdoor setting.
I would unreservedly recommend Acres and their staff. There is not enough space here to give full credit!

I honestly have nothing negative to say and nothing but praise for the setting, staff and my family's overall experience here.

all types of play and learning from French, to sports, to singing, to crafts, to ballet, to woodwork, with a big emphasis on being outside, in their fantastic grounds. I regularly have to persuade her to leave at the end of the day. She is incredibly happy there and that is entirely down to the outstanding level of care provided by the staff. If we ever had another child, I wouldn't consider any other setting but Acres.

They go over and above and it really is great to know you are leaving your children in such a safe, caring, and fun environment. Meals are cooked fresh on-site and the chef runs an excellent kitchen with varied menus. The best thing about Acres (other than the staff) is the fabulous and extensive garden, with many play areas and woodland. The boys often come home having been outside all day and are exhausted and muddy, but have had a great day.

the staff love what they do means that there is no setting comparable. I cannot thank the staff enough for the support they’ve given my son from day one. It is a fantastic, professional, caring environment perfect for any child to thrive.

and staff are second to none I have never seen better. Also the staff turn over is extremely low, which in my opinion speaks volumes in itself. They have an on-site chef who cooks them food that is healthy but liked. The outside space is so big and colourful you just have to see it to appreciate it. Especially the fairy house. It may be a little more expensive than other local nurseries/pre schools, and the cost of living is high at the moment, but you really couldn’t pay for better care. (Other than a Norland Nanny but then the child doesn’t get the socialisation which is really important). I am really sad that he will be leaving for school in September….. but Acres offer holiday club too!!!

day whilst I was at work / it really is ‘home from home’. The staff have all always been incredible and always cared so much. The ‘acres’ of outdoor space is really special and the amount of time the kids are therefore able to spend in the fresh air is also extremely important to us. Will be so sad to say goodbye when our youngest ‘graduates’ pre-school next year!

and social skills that both my children have is largely attributed to the exposure and dedication Acres provides!! The grounds is like no others - acres of space and fantastic facilities to ensure that the children are outside in the fresh air as much as possible. This is a major part of the Acres ethos. I genuinely wouldn’t ever consider sending my children anywhere else.
