They take great care in the development of each of the children and really treat them as individuals. I am a very hands-on mum and I was terrified of sending my little boy into any kind of childcare but I have to say that Acres instantly put me at ease and have continued to do so over the years. I will be so sad when my little one moves onto school but I am happy to say he will come back for holiday clubs.

We went through all the rooms (baby, explorers, lower and upper pre-school) and every room has been managed by different staff. The team is incredible - always so welcoming and caring. The outdoors space is beyond amazing - offering different types of playgrounds, huge sandpit, woods with a fairy house and fire pit, outdoor art classroom and several patios. It doesn't matter what the weather is - kids are always encouraged to play outside, plant veggies, go on a bear hunt and have adventures in the mini woods. Our daughter was quite shy as a toddler, turned into a confident and curious girl who was very excited to start school. We really miss Acres, it is an incredible place!

Acres. He enjoyed playing indoors and out, regularly chatting with the staff, and making lots of new friends. He was always keen to report on what delicious food he'd had for lunch and tea.
Some of the highlight events were sports day, grandparents day around Easter, and the Christmas nativity - which was magical and very funny (intentionally or not)!
The communication before/during/after the Covid lockdown was brilliant, especially considering the constantly changing government advice.
We would not hesitate to highly recommend Acres to all other parents.
We'll look forward to returning for Holiday Club!

The preschool setting focuses on school-ready aspects like self-care and sit down, wonderfully prepared healthy meals. The grounds allow the children to explore safely and experience all the benefits outdoors can bring.
Holiday club invites the children to independently explore the grounds with a range of engaging and fun activities and the opportunity to build new friendships and socialise.
We are so grateful to everything Acres has given our sons this year and looking forward to returning for holiday clubs in the future.

single day! The staff are consistently welcoming, creating a happy and safe place where the children are encouraged and given the confidence to express themselves. The team are always thoughtful, going over and above the call of duty to make drop offs and pick ups easier for the parents. We always look forward to "occasions" at Acres, some of my happiest memories are enjoying Christmas parties, Sports days, Nativity productions and the wonderful and thoughtful crafts made with little fingers sent home. We cannot thank Acres enough for our time with you and for giving our children a great start in life and I can not recommend this wonderful nursery more.

time. For most of the year, given any opportunity, all of the children are playing and learning outside in the open and expansive garden. The kids get great experiences there every day.

The activities that the children are involved in are excellent. In preschool over the week, there's football, French, ballet and music aside from all the other fab activities the nursery provides.

The staff welcomed my daughter with open arms and through tough times outside of nursery have supported my daughter through the changes in her life. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough and will certainly be sending my second daughter there. The thought of leaving my children to go back to work is hard but having done it once before when my daughter started I know there's no better place for them to be looked after than Acres of Fun. I can be at work knowing my child will be having the best day at nursery!

The kitchen staff cater brilliantly for her food allergies and provide a range of nutritional food. My daughter has developed her social skills as well as academic skills whilst attending Acres of Fun, always bringing her learning home and reenacting events from the day.

His engagement with the staff and constant variation in his exciting days at school have been wonderful; with lovely online interaction from staff via Tapestry. He would much rather stay at Acres than come home with me most days! He has made a wonderful group of friends and adores running around outside in the glorious grounds.
I would (and have) recommend this incredible school to anyone who will listen and we will miss it dearly when he leaves in August.

that our precious little girl is stimulated and encouraged. She very much enjoys the meals, which are not just the usual 'meat and two veg' stuff. The menus wouldn't be out of place in an upmarket bistro!
Special events are staged by the dedicated staff, eg Easter, Sports Day, Grandparents Day, Christmas - when all kinds of activities which the children and their families take part in, are skilfully managed along with thoughtful hospitality. The Owner, is always available at the Nursery, giving great leadership supported by an extremely professional team.
