Wise Owls at Foxley Day Nursery

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. One of the things that really makes it stand out is its fantastic outdoor area, which gives the children so many opportunities to stay active, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors.

The nursery team consistently goes above and beyond to provide extra activities and experiences that are both fun and meaningful. The children are given unique opportunities to learn, be creative, try new things, and, most importantly, make wonderful memories along the way.

It's also lovely to see the friendships the children develop. All the children seem to know each other, and they have built such a strong sense of community. The staff know all the children too, creating a genuinely friendly, welcoming, and interactive environment where everyone feels included and supported.

It's clear how much thought, care, and effort the whole team puts into creating a special experience for the children. We feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery.

3) The staff - every member of staff has made us feel as though our son is known individually and genuinely cared for; the communication is excellent (without being overbearing) and the end of day debrief is personalised and shows that quality time has been spent with the children.

We are so delighted with Wise Owls at Foxley, our daughter has been here for a year and a half goes in happy and has the best time! She loves all the staff and we are so grateful for the care they all show and how accommodating and supportive they are to her needs. We are so impressed with all the different activities they do. The grounds are great and we love that they spend so much time outside where possible. Would really recommend this nursery to other parents.

I cannot recommend Wise Owls at Foxley enough. We have sent both our children there since they were one year old and they love it. Our six year old is now at school and still talks about his time at Wise Owls. The staff are fantastic which makes drop off so much easier. When we pick our son up he has the biggest smile on his face. Thank you!

Beautiful surroundings, lovely staff who take great care of the kids. They took our child from age one, and the transition has been really smooth and lovely to watch. They do a wide range of activities and constantly keep you up to date on the app. My son genuinely loves being there, and I highly recommend this nursery.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with every element of Wise Owls at Foxley Day Nursery. From the pre visit last year to now, our experience has only been positive. All of the staff are incredible, providing us with such a lovely experience at both drop off and pick up. We have full confidence that Caolán is incredibly well looked after for the 2 days that he attends. The space inside caters so well for all of the kids and the outside space is such a great thing to have - especially as the weather improves! Foxley is a wonderful nursery and our son absolutely loves going there, having started at age 1 and about to enter pre school. We feel the team truly nurture him and care about him and we can see he feels very safe and happy there. The variety of activities he does and all the different ways of learning are brilliant to see, and staff keep us updated on all developments and progress which is super helpful. We particularly love the garden area and how the children are out there so often. Thank you for making nursery such a positive part of our little boy's life!

Our daughter has been at Wise Owls for 6 months now and it has been fantastic from day 1. She waves us off with a smile every day. The staff are always very knowledgable about her, and very flexible to fit around her needs. The outdoor space is amazing and she loves all the playing outside. Would definitely recommend to other parents!

The setting of the nursery is lovely in a quiet rural spot, and the staff were great throughout his whole stay. Special shout to Maddie, his core worker in pre-school, who was fantastic in helping him prepare for starting school. He still talks fondly of his time at Wise Owls and I would have no hesitation in recommending the nursery to other parents.

I cannot express enough how grateful we are for the amazing care and nurturing environment at wise owls. From the moment we enrolled our daughter, we have been consistently impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly attentive, patient, and truly passionate about the children's well-being and development. Our daughter has blossomed in their care-she's not only learnt new skills but also developed a love for learning and play. The nursery offers a variety of engaging activities that encourage creativity, independence, and social skills. We feel confident knowing she's in such a safe and caring place. We are extremely happy with Wise Owls at Foxley. From the very beginning they have put us at ease with their ability to manage his medical needs. They are always looking for solutions rather than objections to any additional requirements he has. Our son has now attended the nursery for over a year and has made great friends. He has lovely relationships with the nursery workers and often comes home singing new songs they have taught him.

My son started nursery here nearly 6 months ago as a 6-month-old. He loves it! He sings in the car on the way! He receives enough care and attention but it still allows him to be a kid. His milestones are monitored and reported and his achievements are noticed. The staff give detailed feedback at the end of the day to myself when I collect him and he's always in a good mood when I do collect him. Kids don't lie and if he is happy to go and happy when I collect him then it's obviously the right place for him.

A wonderful little nursery with lots of outdoor space. The fact it is a bit smaller is part of the appeal and the forest garden is an integral part of the day. The staff genuinely care for the children and our 18-month-old daughter is happy in their care, she runs to the door in the morning. As well as the outdoor activities, she is learning to count and comes home singing the songs she’s learnt.

My child has been at Foxley for over 6 months now. They love going and run in happy and excited every morning. This is testament to the warm welcomes from the staff and how they truly care for the children. We previously struggled settling our child into a childcare environment, so to see them settle straight away here made us know that it was the perfect place. It is important to us how invested the staff are in the children's development, and as well as regular updates on the app, they are open to discussing specific goings on at pick up and drop off. There is a large outdoor area with lots of resources, slides, water table, as well as a meadow, meaning our little one has so much to do and explore. Thank you to all who work there!

Cannot fault. Our son loves attending. He runs in the morning and at the end of the day, has a wide smile on his face. He's been there since six months old for the last 2 years and he (and we) couldn't be happier. All the team are fantastic. Well done!

My eldest son has been at Wise Owls for over 2 years and my youngest for a few months now and we couldn’t be happier with it. They both absolutely love coming in for their days here and are thriving on it. A lot of time is focused on being outside playing and learning which was a key factor for me when choosing a nursery so this is amazing. The staff are really wonderful and welcoming too which makes it a pleasure to go along for drop off and pick up. Highly recommend it as an early years setting.

My son has been attending Wise Owls Nursery since August 2021 (16 months old). The staff are always so friendly and have a lovely relationship with my son. The setting is beautiful and I love how much time they spend outside in the garden. He comes home looking like he has been digging for hours so I know he thoroughly enjoys his time there!

My daughter has been attending Wise Owls for two years and she loves it. We are so confident she's having fun and learning. Wise Owls have a great, stable team that we really like and trust. We put our second daughter on the waiting list about a week after her birth!
