Teepee Day Nursery

What can I say - the staff are so friendly and caring, whilst it was a rocky start in the beginning due to us not knowing what to expect and not communicating our feelings, ever since we have done so, the staff have gone above and beyond in looking after our little one, even coming with us to a two-year check with the health visitor! I feel safe and happy leaving my little boy there, and knowing that he is having a great time and being well looked after. Thank you, Teepee, for supporting us and supporting our little boy. Yes, it is not the cheapest, but when it comes to your child, I would never go for something just because it's less money!

We love the way Teepee Day Nursery organises our child's focus weeks. Every eight to ten weeks your child is the child of the week. In preparation, you fill in a very extensive form covering their routines, likes and dislikes. You also express if you have any concerns or questions and what you would like the staff to focus on. Based on your answers to their questionnaire and their own observations, they set three or four targets for the week. You then receive updates on the app. After the focus week, you receive a report explaining the targets, how your child did and what the next steps are. This report is then discussed over a video call with your child's key person. It is clear that the staff put a lot of effort into the process and that they really care for and know your child. We can't wait until the next focus week. Thank you, Teepee!

Our son started at Teepee in November, and I have been blown away by how incredible they have been with him. They have helped him settle so well, they really got to know his personality and their care and professionalism throughout shine through! We could not be more grateful to the team there and how much time and effort they put in to ensure all the children there are happy.

I am really pleased and happy with this nursery. The ladies there are so kind and patient. She has a brilliant mother hen, and others have really taken the time to bond with my child. There are constant updates and lots of organised activities to help the kids develop. I would definitely recommend this nursery, it is worth every penny. I feel very relaxed to go leave my child here while I work.

My son has been attending Teepee Day Nursery for two months now, just as he was turning two and I can't praise the nursery, the facilities and the staff enough! With this being my only child, I was very nervous about taking him out of the comfort of his childminder's home and into a large nursery setting, but I had nothing to worry about. If anything, I wish he had started there earlier. From the initial open-day tour, which was so welcoming and reassuring, I could see straight away my little one was going to love it there, especially the amazing outdoor space. From the communication between myself and the Admin team, who are so friendly and helpful, through to the regular open communication and updates with all the lovely room staff. I feel so secure in the knowledge that my son is being cared for and is developing so well. The staff have also been a great support to me and my partner. I really can't thank them enough. Overall, this is an amazing nursery that I would highly recommend!

I had the privilege of being able to read to my grandson's class. The communication with the team was warm and friendly and I was welcomed into the room. The children were already waiting and my grandson was sat front and centre. The children seemed to enjoy the book and the added items of interest that I had taken along. A buzzard feather, which they were all keen to touch. I also took an abandoned bird nest with eggs, this was of great interest to the children. My grandson was able to choose two further books for me to read before it was time to leave. It was so good to be able to see the inside of the Nursery. I link into the family app every day to see what activities the children have been doing. This facility was especially supportive during Covid-19, as we were not allowed to see or visit him. On emailing the Nursery to say how much this was appreciated, I received a lovely surprise of a photograph and painting that my grandson had done in class, it still adorns my kitchen. A huge thank you to an amazing team!

A lovely warm and welcoming nursery with amazing facilities, especially the forest school! All the staff are caring and competent and we feel like the children are in the safest hands. The staff in the baby room are amazing, kind and friendly. Communication is excellent and we always feel like we know what's going on.

My child has been in the baby room full time from 9 months old and is now 15 months old. Every single day the nursery does a different activity to keep the babies entertained. We are always very well informed about what is going on at the nursery, from safeguarding to updates on their environmental drive. I feel confident leaving my baby with the staff at Teepee, if there is any concern they always call me to update me. Teepee has been integral in progressing my baby's physical abilities as well as their language, and communication skills. They have helped our family to learn baby sign and to use it in the home for better communication with our baby. A tight relationship between parents and nursery is key to a happy baby, and Teepee absolutely nails this, and I am very grateful to Teepee for this.

We are very happy with Teepee Day nursery. My daughter has been attending there since she was 6 months old and we've been very lucky with the staff who's been caring for her. She's 2.5 years old now and it was one of the best decisions we made, which really helps if you're going back to work and want to have confidence that your child is at a very happy, nurturing and fun setting when you're not there. The app we use for daily updates is great, we can see the details on meals, nappy changes, sun cream application and even trials to go to the toilet there. The staff feel like family as well, we genuinely feel sad when we have to change the room so our key person would change but we adapt the new key person right away and they are all superb. I really recommend Teepee Day Nursery for every family and I'm sure you'll feel the welcoming feeling too when you meet with the staff and see the happiness of the children playing inside.

We couldn't ask for a better nursery. Our daughter has been attending Teepee Day Nursery since she was 10 months old and is thriving. The staff are brilliant and incredibly nurturing - there is a real family feel to the nursery which we love. There is always a wide variety of activities for the children and they spend lots of time outside, either in the garden or the forest school. We receive information re naps, food and activities via an app. Staff are also very prompt in responding to messages on there, too. We particularly like the weekly updates, where we receive home learning ideas. My daughter is so happy going to nursery. She is excited to tell us all about her day and spends her time talking about the wonderful friends she has made. I highly recommend Teepee Day Nursery and wouldn't think twice if you're thinking of signing your child up!

The team at Teepee are amazing and very supportive. From the owner to the admin and nursery teams. My daughter has developmental dysplasia of the hip and started in a pelvic cast. The team have been fantastic at accommodating her extra needs and ensuring that she is safe and included in every activity. Other features of the nursery include; amazing communication, clean organic facilities and a friendly skilled chef. They encourage children’s development and give useful tips for home learning. Choosing Teepee was the best decision we made. Highly recommend.

Staff are really accommodating and always plenty around. Feel like our daughter is in safe hands.

As a first time mum, I was nervous about sending my very tactile and clingy 10 month old to the nursery. We have no family nearby and so she is only really familiar with myself and my husband. We decided to go with Teepee, due to their outstanding Ofsted report, but also because upon looking around and asking a few questions, they seemed to share our values. Our daughter has now been going to the nursery 3 days a week since the start of the year and we couldn't be happier. Teepee have made every effort to settle her in, going above and beyond - including wearing her in the baby sling when she gets upset, something she is familiar with at home. They send us regular photos and updates and made her a Focus Child when she first started so they could get to know her better. A special mention to three members of staff, in particular. They even manage to get her to nap alone, something we can't do at home! We are looking forward to continuing our journey with them and highly recommend them.

Our daughter has only been there since just after summer last year, but in that short time, she has developed so much, and she absolutely loves going there and the staff. This was the first and only nursery we looked at and was so impressed, we knew straight away it was the right decision to send her there. We love the fact that there is a lot of communication with us while she is there through the app. The staff are so friendly and approachable. It really does have a friendly home feel to this nursery.

When we were searching for a nursery for our 3-year-old son, one of the first things to draw us towards Teepee was their consecutive ‘outstanding’ status all throughout the years since its opening. The staff are amazing, they are our family. We can feel and see the difference in our child’s confidence, knowledge, language speaking as we see bilingual, showing extensive interest in crafts and creative activities. We personally feel the focus week helps a lot for the child’s development and the observation summary by the team gives us the exact and clear picture with so many new ideas to follow at home to encourage further growth. Their response during the entire Covid pandemic has been exceptional. They have been absolutely hands-on with everyone. The communication whether it’s via newsletter or timely emails regarding the smallest details or the biggest changes; is brilliant. You never feel the need to even ask anything, as you are always well informed. Home away from home.

Our daughter has been going to Teepee for just over 6-months and loves it there! She’s always doing lots of fun and interesting activities, which we are kept abreast of via updates on our app. We noticed how much her development moved on since starting nursery; it was noticeable within two weeks of her starting, which was great to see. The Teepee staff are very friendly and make themselves available to talk about our daughter’s development via an appointment booking system, which is great. The facilities are great and enable our little one to explore both inside and outside (both the garden and forest school, which she loves). There’s a varied menu which caters to her needs, quite frankly I’m jealous of some of her meals… they sound delicious! We couldn’t recommend Teepee enough!

Our son has been going to Teepee for 5 months now and his development since he started is amazing. The staff are so caring and personable and it is clear that the children’s development, well-being and happiness is so important to them. We have no concerns whatsoever about leaving him. He absolutely loves being there and he always has the biggest smile when we pick him up. The array of facilities that the nursery has for the children to use and benefit from, is amazing. He gets to eat a variety of lovely home-cooked food and whilst he’s enjoying all of that, we are sent updates and pictures through an app which is lovely and much appreciated. The staff have always been willing and able to speak to us about any questions or concerns we may have and that has been the case since day one. Choosing Teepee was the best decision we could have made!

This is a brilliant nursery with amazing staff. The kids absolutely love it and the facilities are amazing. Both of our children are looked after to the highest standards by the staff, providing a playful learning environment.

They have all the awards because they truly deserve it.
