Teepee Day Nursery

Teepee Day Nursery has been a fantastic nursery for both of my kids. The staff are friendly, and the nursery is great. They have a forest school, and pre-pandemic, they collaborated activities with the school next door and we were able to use their fields during holidays, which provided a vast play area for the kids. They have been amazing throughout the pandemic, and by introducing numerous adaptations they have been able to stay open throughout. My younger child currently loves it, and through their family updates, I'm able to follow the daily activities. My older child is now in school and always looks forward to saying hello to the staff. I highly recommend the Teepee Day Nursery.

Teepee is a very friendly and welcoming nursery. They have helped my daughter to settle in and are so approachable. They provide a range of activities to keep the children busy and ensure they have a variety of healthy foods.

My daughter, aged 2, is currently at the nursery, and my son who started school this year also attended. Both went to Teepee from 12-months. It is a lovely nursery. The staff are really friendly, and they have a great app where they upload all the meals/snacks, nappy changes and sleep during the day so you can see what your child has been up to. They also load on lots of videos and pictures, which I love to see during the day. During the Covid pandemic, they have been very professional and understanding. They have gone the extra mile to make the nursery as safe as it can be whilst also making sure the children are not impacted and still have fun. I would definitely recommend it. Both of mine have loved going.

Our son joined Teepee in July 2020 full time. Despite joining during a pandemic, he settled in really well having had no contact with any other children since lockdown started in March. We put this down to the care and expertise of the staff. He has developed so much since being there, he does a wide range of different activities every day which encourage him to learn new things. Everything from arts and crafts to books to sensory toys and playing in the garden. He really enjoys going and is such a happy boy. The food is varied and healthy and he eats all of it. All of the staff are so good and as well as caring for them really well, they are always looking at how to create new ways to play and look at the development of each child individually. Focus weeks specifically look at each child and is followed by a catch-up meeting to discuss how things are going. We really like the Famly app to see photos from the day, developmental observations, naps and meals. Thank you to everyone at Teepee.

My daughter started at Teepee in 2017 and my son in early 2020 - I can't speak highly enough of Teepee. From my first visit to the nursery, I loved the small friendly environment, the way Teepee uses outdoor space is fantastic with the added bonus of forest school, plus additional activities such as dance and french (pre-covid!) but what absolutely makes the nursery is the care and commitment of the staff, their care for our children is evident, my daughter loves her 'teachers', they do many activities throughout the day and everything is documented on the Famly app. I would also like to add that the approach and communication throughout covid has been great, in what are challenging and anxious times for everyone, the team always meet us at the gate with a smile and have all worked extremely hard to build out 'bubbles' and keeping to regulations whilst also putting the children first and keeping some normality, I can't thank them enough!

Teepee is my son's second nursery, he joined the Teepee family in October this year. The staff are clearly experienced, knowledgeable, caring and dedicated. Their ethos isn't just a statement, it's a culture. One you see in all the staff, every day. The environment they've created and maintain is a home from home. I feel like my son has daily opportunities to explore, learn and grow. This is done with such an emphasis on love, care, attention, development, security and safety. No one wants to leave their children, but we have to and I feel 100% at ease with Teepee, they give our son everything he needs and more. As a parent the other element of Teepee that I love is their communication, I am always updated from the administration of invoices, Covid, nutrition, activities and of course the amazing pictures and videos I see every day gives me so much comfort.

We get daily updates through the Famly App which tells and shows us what he’s up to, and weekly updates about the activities in the classes generally. Our lad featured this week and it was a joy to be able to share the weekly email update with proud grandparents. The kitchen produces fresh meals and so the babies have a good introductory range of foods and flavours, to supplement their regular milk, as we go through weaning. I think they eat better than we do! Highly recommend Teepee!

My daughter who is 3.5 years old attends Teepee Day Nursery from Mid-September; we were very impressed by the open day from the beginning of September. Our little one enjoyed the visit a lot; there are plenty of outdoor activities and they spend a lot of time outdoor which is extremely nice. My daughter likes a lot going to the nursery and spending time with more children than she was used with the childminder. With the Covid-19 situation, things were a little bit difficult at first as after the accommodation sessions, she ended up with runny nose and a bit of cough and temperature as plenty of kids were having these symptoms; I was requested to provide a negative coronavirus test even though she wasn't having any of the symptoms included by the government in the guidelines and also the GP was not considering a Covid test. After discussions with the manager, it was clarified it was a misunderstanding from one of the staff members and she was accepted to come.

Simply amazing. I was so anxious about sending my son to nursery initially, but he's now been there for 18 months and I can honestly say Teepee is like his second home. He has created the most special bonds with the team and absolutely thrives off his time at nursery. His speech and knowledge have come on leaps and bounds. Teepee has played a huge part in that. Would highly recommend Teepee to any prospective parent.

My son has attended this nursery since he was one; he struggled with the transition, but the staff were absolutely amazing, and worked with me to build his confidence - they really take into account the individual child, and what works well for them and their families. The nursery staff are all so kind, friendly, and have built great relationships up with the children - you can tell how much they adore them, and it feels like a home from home. They do loads of fun activities; every day is so busy - from dance class to messy play, to lots of reading and crafts. I love seeing everything he gets up to on Parent Zone (an app which records all their meals, nappies and pictures). Another great element is focus child weeks which are termly development reviews with the nursery to see how your child is progressing! It's a fun, friendly, caring environment - and I love all the amazing outdoor space.

The staff and management are a credit to the nursery, very knowledgable, personable and every engagement is meaningful and pleasant. If you are looking for a nursery who really cares about each and every child, I couldn’t recommend Teepee Day Nursery enough. Keep up the great work team!

Our little girl has recently started at Teepee and has settled in well thanks to the team who are very welcoming and for who nothing has been too much trouble. Children at Teepee are cared for in small groups and all appear to enjoy themselves. There is lots to do at Teepee and the team ensure that everyone gets to enjoy a variety of activities each day. Food is freshly prepared by a friendly cook who provides a balanced schedule of meals for the children to enjoy. We have found the parents' app very good and the Teepee team make good use of this to keep us posted on how our child is doing.

My son has been at Teepee for a month now and is settling in lovely. The staff are always on hand to settle him when dropping off. He does a great range of activities throughout the day and loves the spacious garden. The variety of food they do is also great.

I would recommend Teepee to everyone!

My son just recently started at Teepee and though he has struggled with the settling-in phase, the team have been so supportive. It's really encouraging to know he is constantly getting cuddles and attention. He is now happy and smiling when I drop him off showing how much he likes it there already. As a new parent, Teepee have been really supportive of me too and in constant contact, hosting a learning evening which was really informative. We have a parents evening this week and the use of the parents' app is constant, so I always know exactly what my son has been up to throughout the day. Their approach to learning while playing is amazing, unlike any other nursery I looked at and I can't wait to see what new things my son learns in their capable hands.

Great assortment of food provided.

Teepee has a wonderful family atmosphere with every member of staff knowing every child's name and greeting you warmly each morning. The environment is happy and caring which is great for my child to learn and thrive in. The observations on their app of the fun and stretching activities the children carry out have several updates every day which helps me feel like I'm not missing out on special moments. I love the events to include parents like Summer and Christmas Parties, Mother's Day Afternoon Tea, and Farther's Day Breakfast. Can't recommend enough!

My son is leaving this month to start school. He has been attending Teepee for three years and all the staff have been especially supportive with his speech and encouraged us to go for an assessment which led to further support. Food is amazing. Activities include forest school and French. My one-year-old also attends and loves baby sign. There is also the knowledge that staff are at the nursery till 7 pm, should I get stuck at work or in traffic. I can't recommend it enough.
