A BRIGHT AND HOMELY NURSERY IN BRACKNELL

Forest Park nursery in the Southeast of Bracknell offers a warm and welcoming environment, designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
Each of the three carefully designed rooms are vibrant and enriching, with sensory toys and exciting environments for each age range. The Little Explorers room is for babies, with a wide, open plan room and lots of sensory toys. There’s also a slide and ball pit to help children to develop and grow.

The Adventures room is for toddlers and younger preschoolers. They have a range of construction toys for building and creating, a role-play area for imaginative play, and a quiet area for reading, songs and puppets to help develop speech and language.

Preschool Seniors is the Ready for School room where they learn and develop ready to transition to primary school. The children develop their independence, friendships, self-care and communication. They have a wonderful free flow with a variety of resources that help them develop and thrive. The unique Growing Enhancement programme aimed at preschoolers encourages children’s natural curiosity to learn.

Outdoors, there is a lovely garden area with plenty of space to explore and enjoy creative pursuits whilst enjoying nature. They take the children on walks the local park, where the children watch the abundance of wildlife.

In the local community, they have formed inter-generational relationships with Age Concern day centre. This provides opportunities from young and old to learn from one another and build a stronger community together.

Both my boys have attended Bright Horizons Forest Park and both loved it, most recently my second son, who started at 10 months in October 2018. He loves everyone in baby care and they give him the best level of care and comfort possible. The daily feedback is always detailed and they are willing to
work on any issues with you (sleep problem).

Our son has been at Bright Horizons Forest Park for 16 months, through little learners to preschool. In this time, we feel he has settled very well and progressed very well in all areas. We believe this is thanks to the care, structure and manner in which he is looked after. We feel the rapport and
communication between ourselves and his primary keyworkers have been excellent. It makes us very pleased to see him excited to go to nursery and happy when we pick him up.

My experience with Bright Horizons Nursery is very good. My son started nursery last October and he is my only son so it was very difficult for us as parents to see him settle at the beginning. Preschool have helped my daughter settle in after her move from another nursery at the end of July. My daughter is always shy with new people but has become very attached with the key care workers in the room. They are helping her to join in with activities - a combination of shyness and being strong-willed
makes this difficult! But they are making some progress. My daughter seems very happy at nursery, which is great!

I highly recommend Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery to other parents. I have had two children attend the nursery, my youngest has just left in August 2019. In both situations, the level of care and development has been exceptional in an extremely nurturing and caring environment.


I felt confident

that my children have been very safe and well looked after each and every day they attended, and have formed strong relationships with the nursery team.


More recently I can see how ready for school my youngest now is, as the pre-school room has been exceptional in their education and development in readiness for school! I feel happy as a parent that she is ready to leave and take the next step in her education.

My son has been going to nursery for 2 weeks and he loves it.
I was very anxious finding the right nursery until I visited this nursery. The staff are so friendly and you can clearly see they are loved by the children. The nursery has had a renovation and the garden is fantastic.
There are plenty
of different activities for the children. In BabyCare they have a third party company for an interactive baby sensory session which I was amazed the nursery provided.
Only 2 weeks in and my son has noticeably changed. I am a proud mum as I can see his development has increased dramatically. His social skills, walking and his love for food have all improved.
The food there is brilliant, with a varied menu & sufficient food for the day.
I am most impressed with the variety my son eats & it’s great ideas for at home meals!
At home my son refused to eat tuna, this has now changed with great thanks to the nursery- I was told he loved the tuna pasta & he even asked for seconds

Our son has been attending this nursery for a number of months now. He’s one of the oldest babies in baby care. We could not be happier about his progress. From day one we could tell the staff really care about not only looking after the children but also helping them in all aspects of their development.
There is a very friendly atmosphere which shows in how the children interact with their carer and with each other. We have also been impressed by how organised they are, with frequent reports and sound procedures for monitoring the children’s development, assessing their needs and keeping track of dietary/other requirements. There is also a rich agenda full of different activities which ensures the children have a varied learning experience during the week.

I just wanted to take a few seconds to just thank you all, every person, for the time we've spent at 'Teddies' as we know it!


From the moment we came to look around when our children were tiny babies in 2012 to when our youngest arrived in 2015 we knew this was the place - the warm, friendly atmosphere

and the lovely environment - it was right. Staff have changed over the years but the feeling of care and dedication has never faltered.


Our children have all turned out to be wonderful human beings and that is due, in part, to everyone there.


So thank you! Thanks for your effort and care. We will miss our morning catch ups terribly and we know the children will miss all of their wonderful carers and the activities they took part in - stretch and grow still features regularly in the back garden at home.


Our appreciation for the last 6 years of work is huge. You guys are great!


Well done to you all and thanks. We'll miss you.

My son only been in Forest Park since March and he is in preschool.
He settled really well and they are doing a great job getting him ready for school in September, with all the growing schemes that are implemented on the children's daily routine.
Management is good at keeping parents informed of
activities and events that are happening on the outcoming weeks.

My son has attended Forest Park since he turned one, he is now off to school in September! He has received a good level of care and has come on well especially in the last year with preschool preparing him for school.
They have been very helpful, carrying out extra speech and language activities with
him to help his delayed speech development.
The nursery is currently undergoing a refurbishment and already looks amazing, can’t wait to see it finished!

My son has been with this nursery since a baby and is now 3 so has moved through each of the 3 age groups and rooms.
We really can't recommend this nursery enough, my son absolutely loves it there and can't wait to get there each day to see all his friends. The staff in every room have been amazing
and we have always felt that he is looked after, safe and learning as he should be but still keeping it fun.
The management ensure parents always know whats going on with the weekly newsletter which tells us about what the kids have done that week and what the focus for next week is.
The building is just going through a complete refurbishment but it's been done in a way that doesn't impact the kids too much and the building looks much better for it.
Again we can't recommend it enough.

My daughter has attended Forest Park since the age of 9 months and is currently in preschool. I cannot thank all the staff enough for the work they put into caring for her. We are kept updated on her progress on an almost daily basis and encouraged to work together with development in all areas. My
husband and I recently reduced our daughters number of days from 5 to 2 per week and due to the high standard of the nursery, I was concerned I was doing the right thing. Talking through with key members of staff gave me the reassurance I needed and for this I am thankful. I would definitely recommend Forest Park to any parents and look forward to my daughters last year in their care.

Signing our daughter up to Teddies Bracknell has easily been one of the most rewarding decisions we have made. Seeing how much she has developed over the last few months whilst being there is a credit to the team and their hard work. All the staff, from management down, are friendly, approachable and
always greet you with a smile on their faces, something that is reflected on the children's faces when you go into the nursery.

My son has been attending this nursery for a year and I have always been confident that I'm leaving him in good hands. The staff are all friendly and helpful and he has made good relationships with all of his carers. There are a variety of activities to keep the children entertained and he is constantly
coming home singing new songs! The nursery is small, but this is just right for us and there is a lovely community feeling.

From the first moment I walked in for a walk around, I had a great feeling about this nursery. The staff are amazing and friendly. My child loves going there and has bonded with her key workers very well. I feel confident leaving her there while I am at work. She has been thriving ever since she started,

Our daughter has been going to Teddies for one month and settled well. The staff are very friendly, and I feel so confident and happy leaving our daughter in their capable, caring hands.


The Baby Care team are excellent. Food options are good and there are lots of fun activities. I like that the

music sensory class is included in the fees.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

My Name is Nicole and I joined Bright Horizons Forest Park in January 2022. I have been in the childcare industry for 12 years with 4 years of managerial experience.


My experience ranges from all ages from birth through to teens, I have worked my way from an apprentice when I left school right the way through to a Nursery Manager.


I have an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce, I also hold an NVQ Level 2 in Children’s Mental Health, NVQ Level 2 In managing challenging behaviour along with experience as a Nursery SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead.


I am always looking to further my training and knowledge to ensure I am the best role model for the staff and children.


Providing high-quality childcare within a safe and secure environment is at the heart of everything I do and I am very excited to join the Bright Horizon Family team.
