My eldest daughter came to nursery first at age 3 and she enjoyed it. The reason I chose this nursery is because of the spacious building, a lot of outdoor space, all rooms are organised and spacious and children are free to explore with natural resources. Also at that age, they were preparing for school
routine, I liked that very much.
After 2 years had gone, I had my second daughter and had to go back to work when my baby girl was nearly 5 months old. The baby room is once again spacious, organised, the girls there are great with little ones, they communicate with me asap. I love how much observed freedom toddlers are allowed to explore indoors and outdoors and the toddler indoor gym, what an amazing idea when weather is bad. In time, after more years, I'm planning to have my third one and my other baby will surely be returning to this same nursery too. Also, it's always clean and tidy I really like that.

This nursery has been amazing for my daughter. My daughter is always so keen to go to nursery to see her key workers and also all of her friends that she has met.
As a disabled parent it is sometimes hard for me to get my daughter due to the steps etc as my daughter has got older and moved classes
but if ever I am picking her up there is always a member of staff willing to bring her to my car and help me strap her in, nothing is too much for them.
My daughter starts school in September and we are really upset that she won't be attending the nursery anymore but won't forget how they have helped her become the confident young girl she is and am thankful for all that they have taught her.
Would highly recommend this nursery.

I have used Children's House for a number of years and always have rated their childcare and team. They are accommodating, have lots of resources for all ages and really build great relationships with the children. I would highly recommend the nursery. The admin team are also extremely helpful and easy
to book and amend.

Lovely people, excellent site, my son loves his time there. He learns and has fun. The use of the app lets me see how my son is developing and the activities he is taking part in. Nursery weekly newsletters also keep me updated with what he will be doing that week.

Great outdoor space for each of the different age groups. My eldest son is very shy and the staff in the pre-school room have done a great job at helping him settle in. My youngest in the toddler room really enjoys his nursery day especially all the 'messy play' activities.


Recently started using

the Tapestry app which I think is really good and it's nice to see photos of my children doing different activities at nursery and reading about their day.

Our experience with the nursery is excellent, our baby (now toddler) has learnt a lot and developed loads since his first day.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough the staff are so lovely, all helping to make the settling in process a success for both the child and us as parents. The rooms are all so engaging for the children and my son loves it especially the large outdoor areas of play.

This nursery is fantastic! Being a nanny to a child who attends I have seen him flourish. The staff are very approachable and caring. The new online journey is amazing, I can see what he’s up to during the week. Plus I can put pics up of him at home playing and exploring. Any queries I have the management

My ten-month-old nephew attends the nursery, I have only good things to say as I’m really happy with the nursery and the care given to my nephew as a whole. Regularly collect our granddaughter from Children’s House. She’s always engaged in lovely activities when we pick up, never wants to leave. She’s so excited to tell all she’s done and eaten, asks mummy to cook what she’s had at nursery. The menus look appetizing a cook freshly prepares daily meals.
All staff very welcoming friendly and helpful: seem to have as much fun as the children. Yesterday went for grandparents afternoon tea organised by the team. Great outside grounds for children to play even a nature trail, granddaughter took delight in showing us a new family who joined the nursery recently in the gardens, family of scarecrows! Nursery manager bubbly approachable friendly and seen around nursery often, lovely helpful lady in office - seen on more than one occasion playing with children!
My daughter has recommended the nursery. As a family we are so happy, seen our granddaughter grow in confidence in the 3 years she has been here, one big happy family at Children’s House.

Very family orientated. My son attends Children’s House full time and he's always so happy on collection. The lunch menus always sound delicious and nutritional, staff are friendly and welcoming, management are also very friendly and helpful.
They won a garden competition of the year and you can clearly
see the amount of effort the staff have put in - the scarecrow family are my son's favourite!

Amy Bennett

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2008

I am qualified at ‘Level 3’ in Early Years and have been working in nurseries since 2008. I have worked my way up the ladder, first as a Nursery Assistant, then onto Room Leader, working with different age groups of children, before becoming a Nursery Manager. I have a real passion to ensure the children have an environment in which they can fulfil their dreams and reach their full potential.
