The first day we went to the nursery, nobody knew who we are and what we were there for. We had to wait for somebody to find out why we were there. Nobody told us that our son should be in which room beforehand. It was a bit awkward.
Two weeks before starting the nursery, we changed our mind to keep
our boy in another nursery. The nursery was attempting to charge us the full amount of nursery fees which we have not even started yet. After negotiation, we were charged the first two weeks of the nursery fee.

The manager and nursery team have excellent relationships with all of our families, and we are sorry this has not been your experience. Unfortunately, we were unable to accommodate your request for a full-time place which was received after your initial enquiry. In our terms and conditions, it clearly states that invoices are payable a month in advance and are non-refundable. You gave us two weeks’ notice and therefore you were only charged for the remaining two. We do appreciate that this is difficult when you have decided to remain at your existing nursery and not take up the place at our setting.

I have two children at this nursery. Baby room and Rising 3’s. They have been there for two months now.
Both rooms are absolutely lovely. The staff have been so caring with my children. They both settled equally well and fairly quickly. They were able to establish bonds and were so lovely and reassuring
for me to see. My eldest had moved from another nursery, which was rated higher in Ofsted. I however have been far more impressed with Children's House Day Nursery and have seen first-hand how much more engaging they are with both parent and child.
I cannot rate Children's House highly enough and fully recommend them.

My daughter has been at the nursery in the toddler room for a month now and absolutely loves it! I was very nervous about leaving her somewhere new but the toddler room staff have been so reassuring and amazing at welcoming my daughter. The settling in visits were brilliant and the staff were always
happy to answer my one-hundred questions! I am always informed about what they have been doing during the day at pick up and get updates via an app where I can see pictures of what she’s been doing. My daughter goes in and comes out happy every time and always talks about nursery at home!

Our daughter has been attending Children’s House Day Nursery since about 10-months-old. Their settling in process was brilliant - not only for our daughter but also for us as parents. Since then, she had flourished. She always goes into the nursery happy; I know I am leaving my child in a lovely environment
with staff that genuinely care. We are always informed of her day at pick up, as well as being kept up to date with photos of her day. She has a good variety of home-cooked, healthy meals, and we are always advised of things the nursery are working on and ways we can help at home. I cannot fault any of the staff; the ladies in the ‘babies room’ are wonderful, and it makes going to work so much easier when you know your child is safe and happy.

My niece was previously with a childminder before coming to the baby room here, she is such a different child now. She settled extremely well, gets along with all of the staff and has soo much fun whilst at nursery. She comes home with lots of different pictures that she has done that day. The staff
keep us all up to date with any problems there are concerned with and the communication between the staff and I is excellent.

I could not be any happier with how well my son has settled into the under 2 nursery. Having gone from a childminder to a nursery setting I was worried about how he would transition, I didn’t need to be. He goes in with a smile and comes out with a smile. I am so happy that I chose Children’s House

Our son started in the under two’s room last month and has absolutely loved it. All the staff have been really welcoming and incredibly helpful. We have been really impressed with how many different activities they do and how much they try to get them outside and enjoying nature. I wouldn’t hesitate
to recommend Children’s House Day Nursery and am really glad we chose to send our son there.

This is my first child, having been a lockdown baby it was really hard to leave him as this wasn’t something we’ve done before. I can’t express how great the staff at Children’s House Day Nursery have been. Not only have they made my son feel comfortable but also me. I’m very grateful for how they care
for my son. He comes out smiling everyday. Extremely happy with the service.

This week was my daughter's first full week at nursery. Previously with a childminder. Wow, she is a different baby! She’s settled in amazingly, she really seems to be loving it and already in a routine too. All of the colleagues are super friendly and helpful. I feel at ease knowing she is in good

Both my youngest love it here. Lovely place. Staff are wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone. Only my youngest is there now after the after school club closed due to the pandemic. My son thinks of it as a safe second home.

Great premises, garden, staff and learning for pre-school.
Very impressed with this nursery - both daughters have attended (one from 10 months old). It has been a great place for our children to develop and a safe, well-organised environment.

I cannot fault the care my son has received here. He is in preschool and always comes back happy and talks about what he has done. The staff in his room are really kind and I know he feels safe and cared for. He especially talks about how much he likes Carla and Shiree. The staff are so professional
and helpful despite these challenging times. It is so reassuring for us that he is well cared for while we are at work. Well done and thank you!

We had a very different view of the type of nursery we wanted than we chose. I viewed a lot of nurseries but the moment we arrived at Children's House it was a very different vibe and we knew almost straight away. They really focus on natural play, it’s a truly free flow environment to the outside space
for the under 2’s. They are really collaborative with what we want our daughter to focus on and their opinions. Always looking for input and our home experience.
Their outdoor space is as cute as their indoor space - with a miniature hedge maze, pet rabbits, decking space for all-weather play and access to a forest nature walk.
Under 2's have sensory space, role play space, little climbing frame etc.
Her room leader is both very professional and so warm. Her key person has the greatest relationship with her but the whole team seem to have a genuine bond with my daughter.
As you can tell we’re very happy. But our daughter is thriving and is genuinely excited to go.

Both my children have attended children’s and I have had two different babies and the nursery really helped them on their nursery journey. My first was confident and loved it so much I couldn’t get him home. My second was very attached to me and I struggled with the thought of her going to nursery,
the nursery was very helpful with settling in sessions to make myself and the little one more comfortable and she now loves it.

We have been sending our 18 months old daughter to Children’s House since August 2020. We are so happy with the care she receives. She comes home so excited and learns so many new things there. This is an excellent nursery, keeping our little ones interested in nature, play, creativity. We had to change nurseries due to change of circumstances, and coming from an Ofsted rated excellent nursery, our standards were really high. The minute you walk into this nursery, you are grasped by the treasures
you see all around, you can tell that they were gathered with love and interest stimulation in mind. The outdoor is fantastic, the staff is really really great and loving. Quick responses and clarifications every time they were needed by the admin staff as well. Our daughter is now in preschool and she really enjoys being there, every day she has a story to share with me with a smile. Brilliant!

My 21-month-old daughter recently went back to Children’s House after lockdown and to start with she was a little unsure. After two days of being back there she didn’t even want to come home with me, so as a mother that was great that she was enjoying her time there so much!
All of the ladies that
work in the under 2’s room and the Manager are lovely and genuinely care about the kids. They keep you up to date with the daily activities the kids are involved in, and give you a run down each day of what they’ve had to eat and drink.
I’d highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking to send their little ones there...she comes home happy and well cared for and as a parent that’s all I can ask for!

Absolutely love this nursery. The staff are accommodating and friendly and the nursery itself is clean and well organised. I especially appreciated how they handled the COVID changes and new regulations and appeared well prepared. They have fun activities for my daughter and I really like the tapestry
system that permits parents an opportunity to peak in and see what their child is up to as well as the care provided. Truly very pleased!
