Cedars Day Nursery (Leighton Buzzard)

Thank you so much for all the care, love, laughter and learning you have given my child over the past two years. He will be leaving as a very proud Bumble Bee! Cedars is a wonderful nursery and I hope you keep going from strength to strength. Thank you for looking after our baby.

Very welcoming and friendly staff who are always attentive and focused on the child's needs. Our son really enjoys going to the nursery and this is reassuring for first-time parents.

The staff are informative and great at communicating their day in great detail, plus the ‘Friday focus’ e-alert is fab at outlining the forthcoming plans. The daily activities keep my son stimulated and the nursery environment is intriguing and informative.

We couldn't be happier with the nursery so far.

I realised today is our son's one year anniversary of being at Cedars nursery and we have been so pleased with the nursery and I know he has a fab time every day and loves being there.

Since he joined when he was only 8 months old in January 2016, he has learnt to crawl then walk, talk and eat "all" of everything. He has created strong bonds with the staff and his development continues to amaze us. I am sure being in the nursery environment has helped him to develop so fast.

Special thank you to his key workers who have all been amazing and supportive in his transition between rooms and to the fantastic chef for all of the delicious food she cooks, the recipes she has shared and for making my son a birthday cake!

All of the staff are friendly and engaging and we've never once felt uncomfortable leaving my son in their care.

We look forward to sending the next bundle of joy along to you in 2018!

Amazing Nursery, excellent care and brilliant environment. Staff are fantastic and children happy! I could not be happier with the care received or the management of this nursery. In my opinion, this is an outstanding nursery.

Cannot recommend Cedars highly enough.

My daughter is leaving Cedars Day Nursery to go to a pre school as part of the school she will hopefully go to next year. She has been there for 2.5 years and loved every minute of it. I have always felt completely happy that she is safe and secure there which is my main need. The staff have always been friendly, welcoming, happy, informative at every stage and I would absolutely recommend you to anyone. My son is 8 months old and now with you there, he seems just as happy!

Fantastic, very welcoming, really good with my child as he gets upset when being dropped off, but the staff are great and he's ok and happy after a couple of minutes. He Loves playing outside and the garden is great for him. He has learnt a lot since being here and he's talking really well now.

Friendly, warm staff who my child clearly feels very comfortable with, even though she only attends 1 1/2 days. The only thing I would suggest is if nursery feedback can be more updated i.e. my previous nursery sent an email update every day. My sisters son's nursery often send pictures of things he has done, like when he stood for the first time and email them across to the parents immediately so the parent can enjoy the moment even if they are at work.

Both my children, a son now 5 and a daughter 3 have attended Cedars and have enjoyed a wonderful experience. The staff are wonderful and from the minute you walk in the door, you get the feeling of being part of a bigger family. As a parent, you feel happy in the knowledge that your children are being looked after and cared for to an excellent standard. Both children came home happy everyday and I would recommend this nursery if you want your child to have a fun day every day. Thank you to the team who provide excellent experiences for the children.

Our son has only been here a month but has settled in well and likes all the activities and food at the nursery. All staff are friendly and welcoming.

I chose Cedars because I was very impressed with the Manager who gave me a huge amount of confidence that the nursery was well run; my son would receive personal and affectionate care and that I could easily communicate my views with the nursery. My confidence was not misplaced; the nursery is all of those things and more. My son adores his key worker (something that warms my heart) but all the ladies in the room assist in the care of my son and he easily and happily goes to them for cuddles and play. The nursery cares for my son in a seemingly loving and gentle fashion. The outdoor space is fab. The nursery holds various events which I love attending and are a nice opportunity to spend time with my son in the nursery setting. The Friday newsletter is a welcome addition and when I have raised a couple of matters for discussion the nursery has been quick to respond. A fabulous nursery with some very lovely ladies who do a fabulous job of caring for my son. Very happy.

Fantastic nusery, my son attended 3 days a week from 11 weeks to 10 months old. All staff were excellent with him, my son has a milk allergy and they were very supportive and helpful with this. Could not fault anything, my son will hopefully be returning after the summer.

My son has just left Cedars after almost 3 years and it has been amazing. The staff are really caring and kind. They cater to individual differences and every day is varied with different activities and focus depending on age group. They spend a lot of time outdoors which I loved. The gardens are a good size with lots of activities to chose from, couldn't recommend more highly. Thank you!

Cedars was a very friendly and supportive environment not just for he children but for the nervous parents dropping their children off for the first time. The staff ensure the children can learn as they play and have plenty of space, toys and various activities.

Cedars is a great learning environment where the children have lots of fun. Our children both love coming to their nursery and their development has come on a lot. The key workers are lovely and very helpful to the children. We would highly recommend this nursery.

Cedars is a lovely, friendly nursery and I always feel happy to leave my son in their care. The facilities, food and outdoor area is all really stimulating and of good standards. I would 100% recommend this nursery.

I am so pleased with the nursery, my sons key workers and the other staff in the baby room clearly know him and loves him and fulfill all his needs when he is in their care. The environment and resources they provide are stimulating and there are a wide range of interesting activities for him to take part in and be challenged and supported in. My son is very happy and his confidence has grown in leaps and bounds.

My son is currently in the Caterpillar room but will shortly be moving up into the next room. The team in the Caterpillar room are amazing, my son loves being at nursery and I feel confident leaving him there. The activities they do with the children are great and my son is learning new things everyday which they capture in his journey log so I don't feel I am missing some of those "special moments" everyone at Cedars Day Nursery is friendly and approachable. They put on events such as a first aid course for parents and send out a weekly newsletter to keep you updated.
