The nursery’s spacious rooms are light and airy, with toddlers and preschool children enjoying free flow access to the garden. Each room features age-specific resources to pique your child’s natural curiosity, such as loose parts play, home role-play corner, a reading nook, an art station and more. The team focus on children’s wellbeing and confidence, promoting individuality. They use the children’s interests as a basis for planning new activities, with children enjoying music and movement sessions, singing, cooking, dancing and PE. Babies enjoy activities that help develop their muscles and motor skills, and sensory toys that allow them to discover new textures, sights and sounds.

To extend your child’s play and learning beyond the enriching indoor facilities, the nursery in New Southgate has a stunning outdoor space. Whether your child is feeling adventurous with their friends, or just needs some solo play time, they can do it all with the use of the garden’s soft play slopes, tricycles, building blocks, seesaw and reading nook. I was so worried about leaving my daughter for the first time with someone other than family but could not have been put more at ease. The staff are all lovely, caring and interested in the kids and I am so confident that she is in great hands! I truly wish I had enrolled her earlier.

The nursery always has been great. My children are very happy there. The staff are very polite and attending the children's needs. The change of management team had a very positive impact and I'm glad to see all these positive changes.

Wonderful caring staff. My son looks forward to going everyday. They are amazing with him! I always recommend this nursery to others. Could do with a revamp though!

I'm very happy with my son's progress and delighted that my two-year-old daughter will join soon. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating with special care to my child's needs. My son is thriving and it is to see in the house.

Absolutely recommend this nursery. I currently have twins at the nursery and my eldest daughter (now at school) also went. The staff are all amazing and the care they provide is second to none. All my children have been extremely happy there and I feel that the nursery has always taken care to meet
their individual needs (especially with my twins). My eldest daughter started at 10 months old and left when she started school...she was always happy to go and we have been so pleased with her development. I believe that the nursery provided the best start for her....she is a confident and happy child.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Tanlyne has been with Bright Horizons for over 10 years, beginning her journey as a nursery nurse and progressing to the current role of Deputy Manager. During this time, she has developed a strong passion for early years education and truly enjoys being part of each child's learning journey.


Tanlyne takes great pride in supporting children as they grow, reach key milestones, and develop into confident little learners. Building strong, trusting relationships with families is also very important to her, and she values the opportunity to work in partnership with parents to give every child the best start in life.
