Bright Horizons Chiswick Park Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

With direct access to gardens, the baby and toddler rooms offer a home from home environment, while enjoying the space to explore the world around them as they move through each developmental stage.

The pre-school children have access to two rooms offering them the ability to prepare for the next step in their learning journey. Interactive whiteboards, classroom-style lessons, self-registration and more all assist with the transition to school. The nursery also offer a range of extracurricular activities including weekly Spanish lessons, Cookery Club and Gardening Club.

The nursery is well respected amongst families in the local community who have seen the results of the professional childcare and pre-school learning where children are encouraged to develop a wide range of skills and abilities.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in October 2017.

The nursery is really nice, my daughter very much enjoyed it. She made friends and gained new skills. Happy with both the facilities and care. The staff is great and taught her so much. We were all very sad to say goodbye.

My child attends this nursery and loves it here. I’ve always found the staff to be great; they listen to parents and look after the children very well. The nursery manager is very hands-on and has been incredibly helpful in seeking extra help with my child’s additional needs. The rooms are bright, airy
and well equipped. The food is varied, and they somehow get my child to eat a much wider range of food than at home. My eldest went here too and used to want to go in on the days she wasn’t at nursery. I’m very pleased I chose this nursery. It says a lot that long after a child has left, the staff are pleased to see them and find out how they are getting on.

I chose this nursery because of many reasons:
- the convenient opening hours (a longer day than most nurseries with the option to split the day in two)
- hot meals prepared on-site
- two gardens (one for the baby room and one for the older children)
- the beautiful room upstairs for the pre-schoolers

the friendly staff
- the lengthy settling in policy
I have not been disappointed by my choice. My daughter settled in well in the baby room (at 16 months) and has since moved up to Little Learners. I love seeing what she has been up to on the app, and asking her about her day. It’s been an unusual year because of the pandemic but the nursery handled the lockdowns very well and is now starting to host more events for parents. I would definitely recommend booking a visit if you’re looking for your child.

The staff are extremely caring towards the children. The food is freshly cooked every day. The arts and crafts activities are fantastic and our son is extremely happy at the nursery. Management of the nursery is fantastic. Staff set up: a good mix of young carers and more experienced carers. Personally,
I am not a fan of nurseries with only young carers - they lack the experience even with the best intention and care. Regional management should ensure staff are rewarded properly to avoid high staff turnover which is unsettling for the children.

The staff are very friendly and professional. Gave me regular updates on how my child was when in the nursery. My child was really happy and made friends and gained new skills which are well documented in her book. If I ever needed anything I felt I could ask the staff. I would have liked to have
had more opportunities to come into the setting to see her work on the walls and her interactions with others etc but understand it was because of Covid that I couldn’t.

My daughter loves coming to nursery and play with her friends. Every member of staff are very caring and passionate about the children and I can see this in my child, who runs to them when we arrive in the morning.

Been very happy with the nursery and have two kids attending. Staff are excellent - confident, entertaining, teaching and caring. My daughter who's now in preschool has been engaged in so many varied activities focused on imaginative play and learning - both indoors and outdoors. I've seen a lot of
investment put into the development of social and motor skills. The staff in the baby room are very caring and leave me with a peace of mind that my baby has all he needs throughout the day and is kept happy. We get updated every day on how both are doing including how has the day been, how have they eaten, what are the areas of focus as far development - having that recap every day has been super helpful. Both kids go to the nursery in all smiles.

The place is simply great! The staff look after the children so well. Our girl is always happy when going there and any admin issues/queries are being dealt in a timely manner. We will miss this nursery dearly, the only reason why I am moving our girl from here is because we got a space in the nursery

Very happy with both the facilities and the staff. Our son very much enjoyed this school and equally, we liked the individual feedback on our child’s progress.
Meals were also good standard.
Staff very accommodating, particularly when our schedules made us late to collect him.
We’d recommend this
school to anyone.

My son absolutely loved Bright Horizons in Chiswick. He was only there two mornings a week but spent every day talking about his amazing key worker and all his teachers and friends. They taught him so much and we were all very sad to say goodbye.

My son has been at Chiswick Park Day Nursery for 2 days a week for the last 2 years and I have to say we have been extremely happy about everything. The teachers are amazing and have always had a very "motherly" attitude which made me feel a lot better. Both little learners and preschool are very good,
the ratio of children to teachers is great and they always plan fun activities. My son loves the Spanish lessons and the dancing lessons. There has always been great care in the food preparation and also in pushing my little picky eater to try new thing without forcing him. If I could delay school I would love to leave him there for another year! We will for sure stay in touch with some of the teachers and will cherish our experience. Leaving my child has always been a bit of trauma for me and I have always felt supported and never judged for crying or being upset and more than once I have been called to reassure me that my LO was ok after I left. Top rated service 360 degrees!

Staff in the baby room are exceptional, taking wonderful care of the children. Management seems to have been overstretched, often having to cover staff shortages elsewhere, including the kitchen. The menu is often disappointing and not as advertised. Transition to little learners has been handled brilliantly
by staff.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Sarah is the Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons Chiswick Park and brings several years of experience in early years education. Her career began as a hands-on practitioner, and over time, she has progressed into a range of leadership roles, most recently at Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road, where she held a maternity cover position as Nursery Manager.


She enjoys working closely with families, children, and staff to set the highest expectations in care and learning outcomes. Sarah is passionate about supporting her team to develop and grow, and she looks forward to getting to know all families, ensuring every child receives the best possible experiences in line with the Bright Horizons Nurture Approach.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Izzy is the Deputy Manager of Chiswick Park, with five years of experience in childcare. She began as an apprentice, earning her Level 3 qualification with distinction and has already aspired to a career in the early years.


Izzy actively engages children through singing, music, and storytelling with character voices, helping them explore differences. She is eager to take on the SENCO role, ensuring that children with additional needs receive the necessary support as they prepare for school. Additionally, she looks forward to planning activities that encourage parental involvement and foster community connections.
