Nursery on the Green provides the highest quality of childcare facilities for the children of the local community.

The nursery provides a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual; there are four main play areas.

Also, there are undercover outdoor areas for all age groups to enable constant access to outdoor play. They have also obtained their Green Flag Eco-Schools award for their commitment to the environment.

Now offering a new government-funded pre-school. Term-time sessions available for 15 hours from 8.30am - 11.30am and 12.15pm - 3.15pm and 9-3 for 30 hours.

Excellent standards of cleanliness and fab food menus enabling children to try different foods and always freshly cooked.


Friendly staff, know and address us using our names. Always willing to listen irrespective of time of day or how busy they may be.


Great teaching and learning environment for

the children - some amazing ideas of creativity which even I haven’t previously encountered.

This nursery is fantastic.
Before I had my son in this nursery, I struggled with him eating or interacting with us.
He preferred being alone but now he has so much confidence.
He's more open to new things and is able to understand and listen to instructions a lot better.
He came in as a 1 and a
half-year-old and now at the age of 3 and a half, he's grown into a confident, self-assured, polite boy.

First impressions count in life. From our first visit to Nursery on the Green we, as parents, were certain that our child would find a caring and fun environment. Staff and management are very approachable, friendly and full of excitement. We have received weekly updates about events the nursery has
put on for the kids and for charity. When we drop our child off and collect we always exchange a friendly word with staff. Upon collection, we are getting an informative handover of our child. Most importantly, he loves going to nursery.

The nursery staff are very approachable and always on hand to deal with all questions that you may have. Ever since my child started in September 2017, I have no faults for this nursery. They have looked after him and relayed back to me about his progress and what concerns they may have and how we can
work together to help him settle in.
As a very anxious mother, they've assured me that he was ok and was settling in fine.
I cannot thank them enough for all they have done.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough, all staff are friendly, informed and helpful. We receive regular feedback on our daughter and progress reports. She is happy to go in every day and is nurtured and learning throughout the day. We will be sorry to leave this next year when school starts.

The assigned people are know their job. They are meeting their targets every day. They are warm, joyful and responsible. They update you on childrens activities so not to feel his/her absence. The children are under protective surveillance all the time.

My child started with Nursery on the Green in September 2013 and four years down the line it's sadly time to say goodbye.
Choosing a nursery for the first time was a worrying and stressful experience but I am so glad we chose Nursery on the Green. The care my child has received for the last four years
has been remarkable. The staff have been professional, loving, caring and have ensured my child is prepared for Big school.
We as parents have got to know all of the staff at Nursery on the Green and built some close relationships with members along the way. My child has also built close relationships with staff and peers.
I would urge anyone who is looking for a childcare placement to join Nursery on the Green. It is definitely a decision I'm glad I made.

My daughter loves coming to this nursery. The children learn so much and I'm frequently surprised by the things she comes home talking about. So much more than just childcare! They have done relevant local visits. They work to prepare the children for school. Good variety of food and snacks. Staff are
so friendly and appear to know all the children's names, even if they don't work directly with them. I feel it's a safe place and have recommended it to my friends.

We would like to thank Nursery on the Green, for the support provided over the last 4 years with child care provision for our child. Special thanks to staff who provided care in both Caterpillar and Pre-school classes. Our child has enjoyed their time at the nursery. During our time of using Nursery
on the Green for the past 9 years, we have only experienced the best provision of care for our children. We are always kept informed via email, with newsletters of events or communal infections circulating the nursery at times. Staff are very approachable and welcoming. Children are always the focus of attention and included in conversations. Healthy eating is the norm as children and parents alike are encouraged to ask to take a piece of fruit from the reception desk when available. Good morning/goodbye are said directly to the children when entering or leaving. Reasonably affordable in this day and age.


Couldn't have asked for a better nursery for my children to have attended.

My daughter previously attended another nursery locally in which she had an awful experience. She got scratched deeply by another child whose finger nails were long and dirty, yet the nursery showed no sympathy towards my daughter, but defended the other child. The scar is still on my daughters face.


After

this bad experience my daughter started to attend Nursery on the Green. It has been so reassuring as a parent knowing your child is in safe hands and properly being looked after. The staff are so friendly and very patient with the children, the nursery itself is very nicely developed and the atmosphere is joyful. Its been a pleasure sending my daughter to this nursery and I would recommend it to everybody. I have had no issues at all with this nursery and am happy they look after my daughter and treat her with so much love and attention.

My son has been attending nursery on the green since November 2016. The staff has been welcoming and supportive from his first settling in session till now. They continue to provide an outstanding, fun and safe environment that includes a range of resources and exciting learning activities. The progress
my son has made is clearly visible, I get daily feedback and can view observations and reports on his online learning journey. My son loves coming to nursery, he loves his caring teachers and always has a smile on his face. The staff are enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The management team are approachable and keep parents updated with nursery information and events. The nursery provides a range of hot food which is cooked freshly on site. Overall, very happy with the nursery, I would definitely recommend this nursery. The staff are outstanding at what they do, and go above and beyond to provide a fun, loving and learning environment.The nursery is outstanding in all areas.

I am an existing customer who has returned with my second child. This nursery provides an exceptional service and I simply had to return with my second child even though the location of this nursery is further than I would like it to be, but it's definitely worth the distance.
The staff provide the
children with a loving, caring and stimulating environment which gives the parent peace of mind that their child is being cared for in a safe setting that cares for each child's needs.
I would highly recommend this nursery if you are looking for an OUTSTANDING nursery for your child.

My child has started attending nursery from mid-January and I am very pleased with her growth just in these 2 and a half months. It's a very spacious nursery with a wide range of resources and excellent childcare staff, management the whole nursery team is very welcoming, friendly and professional.
The most important thing as a mother I feel when your child keeps talking the rest of the day about nursery always talking about teachers over there, you won't need anything else more than this. Mother of a happy child.
