Nursery on the Green provides the highest quality of childcare facilities for the children of the local community.

The nursery provides a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual; there are four main play areas.

Also, there are undercover outdoor areas for all age groups to enable constant access to outdoor play. They have also obtained their Green Flag Eco-Schools award for their commitment to the environment.

Now offering a new government-funded pre-school. Term-time sessions available for 15 hours from 8.30am - 11.30am and 12.15pm - 3.15pm and 9-3 for 30 hours.

Friendly and well established, Nursery on the Green is a happy and sociable nursery where every child is treated as an individual.

The nursery has an enthusiastic team of qualified practitioners giving children the opportunity to both learn and play in cheerful and stimulating surroundings.

This nursery has been totally amazing in every way for us as parents. My daughter attended here 9 years ago, it was perfect then and now, without a doubt, as my son also attends here now. He has been through all the classes and I cannot express how thankful I am for the management team, all the staff
and key workers.
The nursery really knows who fits in the workplace because each member is so caring and professional at the same time. They take care and notice everything. Communication is amazing. Education is amazing. My children excelled here. I'm sad that I do not have another child I could place in the nursery.

My daughter has been in this nursery since 2017 and overall, we have had a very positive experience in both her classes.
The staff have always been very helpful and great with updating us about her progress.
We feel connected with her day with the online activities update. As well as staff telling
us how she has been daily.
her confidence has grown hugely and we can not thank the staff enough for this.

Nursery on the Green is a fantastic Nursery. My son has been at the nursery for over a year and he absolutely loves going there. The staff are so friendly and that’s so important for my son to be around caring people. He eats well and sleeps well at the nursery and spends the whole day having fun. The
Parent Zone app is very good too as it keeps me informed of our son's activities and lots of photos and his development.
We were recommended by family and friends and since have made a couple of recommendations myself.

Since starting preschool 1, my daughter has been noticing numbers and sounds more than she ever has before. She is initiating her own learning which has been amazing to see. This nursery is a true home from home experience for my daughter. All the staff are friendly, kind and caring. I love the feedback that I get. They truly go above and beyond. My son started nursery in 2017 in the 'Nursery on the Green' and I have watched him grow, develop and bloom over the months. He has more confidence, loves his friends and thoroughly enjoys his time in nursery. The balance of discipline and nurturing is very well maintained and there is also so much
for the children to do. He loves story time, has learned to sit down in one place and listen and loves dressing up. There is always feedback about the progress of the children and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Having my son in the right nursery was such a fear for me but this has been removed, as he is now keen to start school in September after his positive experiences in this setting. Thank you for looking after him so well. Have a lovely summer to you all.

An excellent, resourceful and well-led nursery. Both of my boys have attended Nursery on the Green since the age of 2 and I can confidently say their experience has been fantastic. They have excelled in their listening, writing and communication skills, also understanding with their social skills.

All 3 of my children have attended Nursery on the Green and my husband and I have been extremely pleased with the level of care and education our children have received. My children have flourished from the moment they step into the baby room (Caterpillars) to the moment they leave the Pre-School room.


The

staff, in particular, have made their nursery experience so enjoyable, starting from the warm 'Good morning' at the front desk followed by a gentle face and warm hug from the staff receiving them in their classroom.


I have never had to worry when leaving them, as we know they are in good hands!


The catering is also exceptional, as the nursery caters for all allergy/dietary requirements and the EYFS updates via the online portal is also a welcomed treat.


I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery to any of my friends and family.

We've used Nursery on the Green for our first 2 daughters and didn't hesitate when it came to our 3rd. The standard of care is excellent and we feel very comfortable leaving our daughter there. She eats well, plays and does lots of activities. Her language and social skills have grown since she started
here. It's a great nursery both in terms of people and facilities.

My daughter has been attending Nursery on the green since she was 10 months old and will now leave in August for Reception. She had an amazing time and learn so much during her years in the nursery. My son is 2 and a half and he also started nursery before he was one.
All the carers are amazing, caring
and providing a great learning environment. They all know the children well and are great at giving you feedback every day. Each room has loads to do and different corners for children to explore and the gardens are spacious.
I love the fact that the meals and snacks are balanced and prepared directly on site. it's also great that for the little ones, everything is included so you don't need to think about bringing your wipes or nappies.
The opening hours are great and compared to other nurseries, their price is relatively fair.

Our son entered the care of Nursery on the Green in April 2015. As first-time parents, we were hesitant to leave our first born under the care of others. However, the staff at the Nursery on the Green has consistently provided a level of care and compassion that has put us at ease. Because we are greeted
by a member of staff every morning and afternoon with smiles and kind words, the childcare providers are warm and welcoming, and the facilities environment is amazing we would recommend Nursery on the Green to anyone seeking childcare.

I like how the teachers and other staff are treating my child as their child. The snacks and food they are given is really good. The decorations around are really good for the children to learn and catch up quickly. My son has learnt many things from this school. I am very happy and delighted with this

My son loves this nursery, he loves his teachers who he talks about all the time. He always has a smile on his face. You can see how much he has thrived in this environment.
