Nursery on the Green provides the highest quality of childcare facilities for the children of the local community.

The nursery provides a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual; there are four main play areas.

Also, there are undercover outdoor areas for all age groups to enable constant access to outdoor play. They have also obtained their Green Flag Eco-Schools award for their commitment to the environment.

Now offering a new government-funded pre-school. Term-time sessions available for 15 hours from 8.30am - 11.30am and 12.15pm - 3.15pm and 9-3 for 30 hours.

Friendly and well established, Nursery on the Green is a happy and sociable nursery where every child is treated as an individual.

The nursery has an enthusiastic team of qualified practitioners giving children the opportunity to both learn and play in cheerful and stimulating surroundings.

Nursery on the Green is home from home for my son, he comes home with a smile on his face and I love seeing the photos of what he has been up to. He eats well, the food is great and perfect for little one's diet. The management team are great, always listening. Best nursery ever.

Nursery on the Green consistently exceeds my expectations. Despite the fact it is a large nursery, I am always made to feel that my child is their number one priority. They truly put the child at the centre of what they do and are very flexible to accommodate individual needs. The staff are really loving
and all very experienced so my child has formed a strong bond with his carers. Management is very organised and professional but also friendly and know the children really well. I have total peace of mind when my child is there.

I am extremely happy that I chose to send my son to this nursery. I was worried as I didn't know anybody who had sent their child to The Nursery on the Green, but this is by far the best nursery in every aspect for my child. The staff are so welcoming, answer any concerns, questions that you may have.
The nursery teachers are excellent, they make such an effort to personally understand and get to know your child. The activities are excellent and build confidence and give children a great start to their lives, I am grateful to be a part of this nursery.

My twins have attended Nursery on the Green for the last year and I can't recommend it highly enough. It was recommended to me by several colleagues whose children attended in the past. The love and care my boys have received by all the staff, has been second to none. The play areas and activities
offered are varied and stimulating. There is a very caring and friendly atmosphere throughout the nursery and my boys have been very happy to go each day.

I have been using this nursery on and off for 5 years, for my two youngest children. As any parent using a private nursery for the first time, we were very apprehensive. Throughout our time here we have been fully supported and have gained tremendous confidence in the setting and the staff. Transitions
across rooms are dealt with smoothly, communication on key events and personal progress are excellent. I am honoured to say that I have sent my children to this nursery!! Keep up the good work!

Nursery on the Green is one of the best nurseries in this area. My son was there and now my daughter is. The staff and the level of care is fantastic, learning from an early stage my son carried on doing really well and is now heading to high school. My daughter is learning lots and is progressing really
well. The staff are caring, friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. Always there to help, listen and advice on any questions I have regarding my daughter's care and learning. The management team is very professional and helpful.

I think Nursery on the Green is a wonderful nursery that fosters an atmosphere of happiness, safety and fun for the children. Over the years more structure has been introduced and parents get more feedback which is really good. The get ready for school session and related activities have been very well
received - I thought it was informative and really important for getting the children ready for school.
The staff have always been as far as I'm concerned, the foundation and key to the success of Nursery on the Green. Both my daughters have enjoyed their time here.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Homely atmosphere. My daughter settled in very fast. We love seeing her pictures from her day. Room is very clean, full of toys.
Staff do lots of fun activities with children. Decking area is very good (in bad weather).

Having looked at a number of other nurseries in the area, we chose Nursery on The Green based on the outstanding facilities, friendly staff, cleanliness and recommendations from friends. Leaving our son in the care of other people was a very daunting experience but the staff have always gone the extra-mile
to make our son feel comfortable as well as reassuring us by offering daily updates on his progress. The nursery offers and excellent level of care by staff and management. A weekly fun filled schedule of activities for children overall is good value for money.

My two sons started here in December 2015 and my wife and I are very happy with this nursery. The staff, the facilities, activities - everything is fantastic and everyone has made us feel so welcome from day one. I can see the wonderful change in my children since they started and it really does reflect
how brilliant the nursery is. Cannot fault Nursery on the Green, it truly is fantastic.

My two children (aged 1 and 3) started this nursery in December 2015 and in such a short space of time, I have noticed a really positive difference in them both and couldn't be happier! The staff here are absolutely wonderful and some of the kindest people I have ever met. They are so incredibly organised
and so attentive towards each and every child that it really puts my mind at ease knowing my children are in very good hands! The staff at this nursery are amazing and I would recommend the Nursery on the Green to anyone looking for the best for their child!
