Nursery on the Green provides the highest quality of childcare facilities for the children of the local community.

The nursery provides a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual; there are four main play areas.

Also, there are undercover outdoor areas for all age groups to enable constant access to outdoor play. They have also obtained their Green Flag Eco-Schools award for their commitment to the environment.

Now offering a new government-funded pre-school. Term-time sessions available for 15 hours from 8.30am - 11.30am and 12.15pm - 3.15pm and 9-3 for 30 hours.

Friendly and well established, Nursery on the Green is a happy and sociable nursery where every child is treated as an individual.

My daughter loves the nursery and the staff members who have always been very loving, warm and caring towards her. There are plenty of planned activities during the day which includes both indoor and outdoor. The staff encourage the children to express themselves and enhance their communication skills.
I have an update on my daughter's progress frequently and I am able to see how she is attaining her milestones.

My son has attended this nursery for 2 years now...
The staff are well trained and open to listen to my views and opinions, the interventions put in place for my son has helped develop his skills as far as social interactions and communication. The nursery is clean with new appliances which was my
main worry when searching for a place for my son.
We will be leaving this nursery this September 2020 to start a new adventure, I can say with conviction that this nursery would be missed very much.
All the members of staff are patient and work with compassion.

Our daughter started in September. It's her first year in nursery and she has learnt a lot of good things and she’s always happy to go to nursery. I believe the staff are extremely knowledgeable and aware of the current legislation surrounding childcare. I also have realised that my daughter is learning

I feel the staff are extremely knowledgeable and aware of the current legislation surrounding childcare. Absolutely love this nursery. My daughter is in preschool and is now my third child who has attended. I know she is in extremely safe hands and is well looked after. My daughter has been at this nursery from 10 months to 4 years old. She loves the nursery and it has become her second home. The nursery itself has a fun and loving environment but also offers the children to be independent. Our daughter feels well loved and supported, the staff are amazing always
informative and supportive, any changes or needs our daughter has ever needed we have always had the support both us parents, and our daughter.
It’s tidy, clean and has a whole range of play activities both inside and outside. I was lucky to have found such an accomplished nursery. The food menu is varied and my daughter has always enjoyed the food. I would recommend this nursery to all family and friends.

Nursery on the Green has been an absolutely wonderful place for my daughter to attend. It offered a secure environment for my daughter to develop her wings and become a confident individual. The staff is very friendly and truly listens to any concerns that you may have and will work in partnership to
bring that balance between the home and school life. On top of that, they will keep you fully informed on your child’s progress with their daily updates and their weekly newsletters which I found quite useful.

Nursery on the Green has been absolutely amazing in welcoming my son into their nursery. The facilities are great and the staff are friendly. There is plenty to stimulate my son and their weekly newsletters very informative. They have been so accommodating with my sons allergies and the care they take

Nursery on the Green has been an amazing nursery for my daughter to attend. My daughter has excelled in her language skills, number knowledge and social skills. She has become a confident individual and this has been with the help of the nursery. At any time if I have needed assistance, help or advice
they have always been so accommodating to my family's needs and for this I am grateful. From the practitioners in each room to the staff at the front desk, you instantly feel a warm welcome by all. I am very thankful to the amazing staff at the nursery and I applaud them for all their hard work.

My son attended this Nursey at 18 months and after 3 years he is now starting school. My son joined having a specific health issue, I was given a health care plan which was adhered to by all staff and was regularly reviewed. The professionalism and care of the staff reassured me that he was in safe
hands and I was able to confidently leave him. My son moved up to 3 rooms with little problem because transitions were well thought out. Each room allowed my son to develop and learn at his own pace with appropriate activities and special days were never forgotten with lovely craft gifts! My son especially loved the outings to the local care home and the visit by the fire brigade. Parent Zone was a good way of seeing what my son was up to and his next steps. My son enjoyed the food too! The staff are friendly and helpful, any concerns I had were listened to and professionally dealt with. Frequent communication informed me of up and coming events and current learning.

My daughter and son go to the Nursery on the Green and they both like it a lot. To start with, this is a big nursery with several facilities such as a big garden for each room. Staff are wonderful in dealing with any issues. Staff are well trained and very caring.
Food is always fresh and amazing.
Learning has improved a lot for my kids which was made simple with several activities. There are lots of activities happening every week which will encourage kids to learn more. Ample onsite parking for the nursery. Thanks to the nursery. I will recommend this nursery to anyone.

My child moved from a different nursery as Ofsted was good, but unfortunately, when accepted never advised me he would be mixed with 2 and 3 years old in the Bumblebee 2 room. I was advised they will be making a separate room for them as pre-school place is full. I found learning capability for my child
going into this room had dropped as he is having kids with mixed curriculum level. I was advised he would be at pre-school level, but looking at the newsletter every week the activities set for them are no way near what the other pre-school rooms are doing. If the room is full; then they should have not accepted him, as know I have learnt he's not even at the school level and has fallen behind, which my fear is that he cannot even write or recognize a letter from his name. if everybody in his class is the same age then maybe he could have picked it up quicker. It has been addressed to the nursery management but no results and feedback been provided back to me or any changes been made to the room.

Since joining this wonderful nursery last year, my daughter has thrived in this positive environment. The key workers and management are fantastic at supporting these little minds to achieve their potential. My daughter, aged 2.5 years now, absolutely loves going into nursery; she has grown into a confident
character whose communication skills have excelled.
There are a variety of activities that the children take part in daily, all of which encourage exploration, learning and socialising. I cannot fault the keyworkers; they really do take care of the children and they provide daily updates.
Communication from management is excellent too; weekly newsletters are sent to inform parents of the following week's activities. Updates are also provided as and when necessary.
If you're looking for an awesome nursery where your child will be cared for to the highest standard and where your child will learn and have fun then Nursery on the Green is definitely the place for your little one.

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and makes me happy to see my son walk in and walk out with a smile on his face.

Hello
My son started going Nursery on the Green in 2016. It’s been almost three years and I have never experienced any kind of difficulty with this nursery. Staff in the nursery is amazing. My 4-year-old son has learned soo much from the lovely, caring and hardworking staff. I would recommend Nursery

My daughter loves coming to Nursery on the Green and both she and I (Mum) always have a positive start to the day from the warm greetings and smiles we receive first thing in the morning when we are still waking up.
The skilled and dedicated staff from management to those in the Caterpillars room
where my daughter joined as a baby, to all those in the final stage at Pre-School are amazing. They work extremely hard, listen to the parents and the children, accommodate needs and nurture, support and promote confidence, learning, respect, positive social interaction, empathy and fun. I know my child is always in safe hands.
My daughter has blossomed under their care. She has enjoyed the wide range of activities provided from karate to crafts to animal visits to charity cake sales to treasure hunts in the lovely outdoor space, all contributing to her wider learning, life skills, well-being and raising awareness of important causes.
We will miss Nursery on the Green dearly.

I have seen my son enjoy the nursery team and he is being loved by them too.
He gets very excited and does lots of exercises when there. I have seen that he doesn't sleep for too long but he is happy.
The nursery is clean, nice and with big parking spaces. Good reception presentation with kind staff.

This is a fantastic nursery. Both my boys started nursery at 18 months and the whole settling in period for both was great.


They have had a great start to their development and the staff are absolutely amazing and very supportive.


My oldest son is now starting full-time reception, so we have

to move on.


We would definitely recommend this nursery and are sad to leave.

We have been using this nursery for all 3 of our children over the last 6 years or so and have never had any complaints. The staff have been great in all the different rooms and have made it really easy to trust them with our children's care. The managerial team at the front have always accommodated
any changes we ask for and are friendly and supportive with our needs. All 3 of our children have loved their time at the nursery and grown close to the staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Nursery on the Green to any parent.
