Nursery on the Green (near Heathrow)

Fab nursery, the staff are great they truly listen to your concerns, my daughter has been with the nursery for nearly 2 years. We have seen a massive improvement in her speaking and listening skills, she has become more independent, so this really did help during lockdown when I had to work, she would use her imagination to put together games and also refer back to the nursery and what she learnt from her teachers. Big thank you to her 3 favourite teachers. Overall the nursery has a great vibe with the right staff.

My daughter has been at this nursery for almost a year now. We are very happy we picked this nursery after visiting several others in the area. The staff are friendly and happy to help. The facilities are great and most importantly, our daughter is thriving. The last few months have been difficult due to lockdown but even so, the nursery have kept us updated and sent lots of relevant resources and information.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. My Son started his nursery after three years. He wasn’t able to speak at that time, soon after he started going there, the manager and her very dedicated staff taught him and made him understand and he started speech within his first term. It was their hard work. Now my daughter is attending nursery however due to covid 19 she is home. But she learned so many things since she started attending nursery. I will highly recommend Nursery on the Green to all of my friends.

My child started in September 2019, he couldn’t be any more of a mummy’s boy if he tried, I don’t even know where to start about how anxious I was to send him to nursery, the first few days he was great and then he wanted me constantly. I really can’t put into words how great they are with him, he definitely wasn’t the easiest for the first three months but they wouldn’t give up on him, every day they were prepared to have his mind focused on doing things. His imagination and learning are beyond what I thought it could be in such a short time and he absolutely loves going there. The only thing I would change is that I didn’t send him a year sooner as he will be going to big school in September. I really couldn’t recommend more sending your children here, I'm so gutted my child is leaving for reception in big school. Even for the shyest they only want my mum and dad children or the most confident child, they are amazing with each and every one.

The staff are incredible, they update us through the portal and face to face on our child’s progress. We receive weekly newsletters on the topic they are learning about in class and any event happening. The change in my son's development has been fantastic! And it's all due to the nursery. My son loves going to nursery. The outdoor space they have is so important as they learn so much from being outdoors. My son has even learnt about recycling and being mindful about the planet!

It's a tough choice to leave your child anywhere, but Nursery on the Green definitely made this so much easier for us. We are so happy with our daughter's development and now she tells us she misses being at nursery with her friends and teachers!

The staff are very helpful and caring. You can see the fact that Childbase is a partnership (think larger style company) and has a great effect on all of the employees. The learning structure in the nursery is excellent also as they are using the latest pioneering techniques for getting children ready for school - be it learning phonics or simply learning to dress themselves for P.E. and serving and eating their meals by themselves.

Communication is very good, the nursery are always keeping us up to date with what the children are currently learning and any planned activities.

I highly recommend this nursery. Both my children have been here and I cannot be thankful enough to the staff for such a pleasant experience. Everyone is so friendly and my kids have learned so much. The learning is fun-filled and so inspiring. The large outdoor space allows children to play and learn in the fresh air. The standards of the nursery are also very high. I was also really impressed with how quickly they adapted to my son’s dietary requirements.

My daughter loves the nursery and the staff members who have always been very loving, warm and caring towards her. There are plenty of planned activities during the day which includes both indoor and outdoor. The staff encourage the children to express themselves and enhance their communication skills. I have an update on my daughter's progress frequently and I am able to see how she is attaining her milestones.

I feel the staff are extremely knowledgeable and aware of the current legislation surrounding childcare. I also have realised that my boy is learning new things very quickly, and I don't feel any hesitation when I drop him off, as I find the staff very transparent, and feel my boy Veer is in safe hands.

Absolutely love this nursery. My daughter is in preschool and is now my third child who has attended. I know she is in extremely safe hands and is well looked after. They teach her so well, they make learning fun and my daughter has thrived as did my other two children who now go to school. I really can't fault them!

It’s tidy, clean and has a whole range of play activities both inside and outside. I was lucky to have found such an accomplished nursery. The food menu is varied and my daughter has always enjoyed the food. I would recommend this nursery to all family and friends.

The staff is very friendly and truly listens to any concerns that you may have and will work in partnership to bring that balance between the home and school life. On top of that, they will keep you fully informed on your child’s progress with their daily updates and their weekly newsletters which I found quite useful.

Nursery on the Green has been absolutely amazing in welcoming my son into their nursery. The facilities are great and the staff are friendly. There is plenty to stimulate my son and their weekly newsletters very informative. They have been so accommodating with my sons allergies and the care they take with his food and general well being is top class.

Nursery on the Green has been an amazing nursery for my daughter to attend. My daughter has excelled in her language skills, number knowledge and social skills. She has become a confident individual and this has been with the help of the nursery. At any time if I have needed assistance, help or advice they have always been so accommodating to my family's needs and for this I am grateful. From the practitioners in each room to the staff at the front desk, you instantly feel a warm welcome by all. I am very thankful to the amazing staff at the nursery and I applaud them for all their hard work.

My son attended this Nursey at 18 months and after 3 years he is now starting school. My son joined having a specific health issue, I was given a health care plan which was adhered to by all staff and was regularly reviewed. The professionalism and care of the staff reassured me that he was in safe hands and I was able to confidently leave him. My son moved up to 3 rooms with little problem because transitions were well thought out. Each room allowed my son to develop and learn at his own pace with appropriate activities and special days were never forgotten with lovely craft gifts! My son especially loved the outings to the local care home and the visit by the fire brigade. Parent Zone was a good way of seeing what my son was up to and his next steps. My son enjoyed the food too! The staff are friendly and helpful, any concerns I had were listened to and professionally dealt with. Frequent communication informed me of up and coming events and current learning.

Food is always fresh and amazing. Learning has improved a lot for my kids which was made simple with several activities. There are lots of activities happening every week which will encourage kids to learn more. Ample onsite parking for the nursery. Thanks to the nursery. I will recommend this nursery to anyone.

My child moved from a different nursery as Ofsted was good, but unfortunately, when accepted never advised me he would be mixed with 2 and 3 years old in the Bumblebee 2 room. I was advised they will be making a separate room for them as pre-school place is full. I found learning capability for my child going into this room had dropped as he is having kids with mixed curriculum level. I was advised he would be at pre-school level, but looking at the newsletter every week the activities set for them are no way near what the other pre-school rooms are doing. If the room is full; then they should have not accepted him, as know I have learnt he's not even at the school level and has fallen behind, which my fear is that he cannot even write or recognize a letter from his name. if everybody in his class is the same age then maybe he could have picked it up quicker. It has been addressed to the nursery management but no results and feedback been provided back to me or any changes been made to the room.
