Nursery on the Green (near Heathrow)

My 18-month-old daughter attended Nursery on the Green at Southall, for 9 months before we withdrew her place due to an incident that led her to be seriously bitten on the back by another child. Unfortunately, the nursery was very blasé about the matter and informed us that they were “unable to guarantee that this or a similar incident will not occur”. The Team Leader initially told us that my daughter did not cry following the incident however, we pushed for an internal investigation, and subsequently, the CCTV footage evidenced otherwise. As a Social Worker by profession, I would encourage any concerned parents to review the childcare providers' full Ofsted report and risk assessment policy before placing their child. Of course, children are not malicious however we need to ensure everyone is protected and such incidents do not occur again. Given the staffing ratios, this incident should have never happened.

I have been with the Nursery on the Green for the past 13 years, over which time my 3 children have attended. The nursery and its staff are very nurturing and it brings you comfort when you know your child is going from home to home. I wouldn't have stayed so long if me and my children weren't happy. Thank you all.

Nursery on the Green has been a brilliant nursery for my daughter. She has learnt so much and enjoys waking up every morning to go to nursery. I found this nursery after looking at so many other nurseries. The outdoor play is amazing so much to do. I and my husband are so please with our daughter's progress. The staff are lovely and really helpful. It will be difficult leaving the nursery in August, but I will be sending my younger child to the same nursery. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Compassionate: My child was not well and had a temp. A member of staff took care of my son until I could get to the nursery. It wasn't C-19 but staff go above and beyond the call of duty.

I was very pleased with the nursery. My son was very happy, enjoying every day with lots of activities and friends. He was looked after with care and professionalism. I'm recommending this nursery 100%.

Nursery on the Green is a fantastic nursery that my husband and I would highly recommend. Our son has attended full-time since he was eight months old and has thrived under the care and affection shown by the whole team. They have always provided the highest level of care and enabled him to achieve his full potential. In fact, one of his first words has been the name of his lovely first key worker and even on the weekend often asks to see her and puts his coat on. The admin and management team working behind the scenes are always well organised, efficient and accommodating to our needs. We are gutted to be leaving Nursery on the Green due to a house move and they have set the bar high for his next nursery!

Nursery on the Green is an amazing Nursery. My Daughter started nursery recently and she is well settled and happy. The staff are amazing and very helpful so no complaints at all. I would highly recommend this nursery to my friends and family .

The Nursery has supported us as a family throughout. My 2 children attended Nursery on the Green from 10/11 months and all the staff from the baby room to pre-school. The 2 have made their transitions throughout the different rooms independently, full of confidence and the ability to adjust to different changes. When asking them how they would describe the nursery, the words that come to their minds are; Fun, Funny, lovely teachers, smiley, happy, and love.

All staff have been so friendly and supportive. I would highly recommend Nursery on the Green.

I can honestly say the level of care and attention that my daughter received here has been incredible. Throughout her journey in the various rooms, the teachers and staff have always gone over and beyond. Communication to parents is always prompt and very thorough and especially during these difficult months with covid. I have always had 100% confidence that all the measures in place have been the best for the safety of everyone. We will miss the staff and nursery very much.

An outstanding nursery. The staff are caring and professional and the facilities give plenty of indoor and outdoor space for my son to run around. I love getting the daily updates and photos on the ParentZone App and it is reassuring knowing that he is being fed healthy meals throughout the day. The nursery helped me identify my son's food intolerance which I will be forever grateful for. He has developed so much in the last 2 years as a result of their attention to detail. Initially, we were concerned he had speech delays, but with the support of the nursery, he is now talking and communicating with his peers. He runs into the nursery happy every morning which makes dropping him off a really positive experience. I love how the nursery is highly involved in fundraising for the local community too. I highly recommend this nursery and my second born will be starting next year.

My son has attended the nursery since he was one, he is now three years old and about to go off to school nursery. Nursery on the Green (near Heathrow) have played a huge role in preparing him for this transition. He has learnt social skills, communication skills as well as developing his understanding of math and literacy. He always looks forward to attending nursery and developed strong bonds with the adults who care for him. They have always shown an interest in what he is into and they do their best to incorporate this into his daily activities. We always receive plenty of information about his day, either verbally or via the online portal. I have felt confident that my son is happy and well cared for during his time at the nursery.

As a parent of a child that has been attending Nursery on the Green in Southall. I am very happy with how my child has grown, developed and progressed even during these difficult times. The Nursery staff have always been adaptable to his routine and the care that he receives is specific to him. The Nursery has always catered for my child’s dietary requirements and is always at the end of a phone as and when I need it. I would highly recommend this Nursery to anyone and me and my child are very happy with the outstanding service that is provided.

I was so anxious about my little one starting nursery because she's very attached to me. The staff were absolutely wonderful to help settle her in, whilst keeping me informed and at ease. Now she can't wait to go into the nursery. I get updates throughout the day about her via the app. When I call to check on her, the staff are friendly and welcoming despite my panic in the first few weeks. We have noticed amazing development since she started, she also became more independent and confident. The process that has been put in place to keep everyone safe at the nursery is just great. I couldn't have asked or imagined a better nursery for my little one.

This is a great nursery, managed and run by a competent team of staff who are always on hand and happy to assist. The nursery is very organised, clean with superb facilities and children are taken care of very well. Further to this 'Nursery on the Green' is a great place for young children to excel in their early learning and interact with each other in a safe and cohesive environment.

I have been coming to this nursery now for nearly 7 years. First with my eldest daughter and now my youngest, who has just left to go to “big school”. Every single member of staff has always been so welcoming to my children and they have really cared for them like their own. I left my children with them knowing that they were in a safe friendly environment. I can’t thank them enough for helping my girls grow into strong independent ladies.
