Nursery on the Green provides the highest quality of childcare facilities for the children of the local community.

The nursery provides a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual; there are four main play areas.

Also, there are undercover outdoor areas for all age groups to enable constant access to outdoor play. They have also obtained their Green Flag Eco-Schools award for their commitment to the environment.

Now offering a new government-funded pre-school. Term-time sessions available for 15 hours from 8.30am - 11.30am and 12.15pm - 3.15pm and 9-3 for 30 hours.

My son was at this nursery for 18 months and it was amazing. All the staff are extremely caring, I always felt confident that he was receiving the best care while he was there. He has learnt a lot since his time there and has become a very confident child ready for his next step to primary school. The
nursery offered a wide range of learning experiences and very interesting activities throughout his time there. There were several events throughout the year where parents were able to get involved with their child, such as the Christmas party, Mother's Day breakfast and plenty of others. My other child also attended this nursery 6 years ago and the high level of care, excellent learning and enrichment activities have remained the same. I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents/carers.

I am very happy that my child was in this nursery. She developed a lot. Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The classrooms, and especially the garden areas are nicely organised. Kids spend a lot of time outside. Teachers are very creative, and every week, they do different things. Food is fresh and
tasty. My child was happy every day to go there. We are going to miss this nursery!

We chose Nursery on the Green due to them being excellent when my older son was there a decade ago.
They are still excellent.
All the staff are friendly and very helpful.
I always recommend them to my friends and family when they are looking for a nursery.

Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, love, dedication and patience to the children, and for keeping personal belongings in order, caring when they were not feeling well, and making every day a fun environment to go to which was also very important.
Many thanks to the lovely staff who
helped in our daughter's development and 1st stages in life and helped prepare her for school through creative and educational activities. One of the most impressive achievements was teaching her to write her name. They also learnt the months of the year, the days of the week, the numbers, etc, through play and songs that were easy to memorise.
A big thank you to all the team; we will never forget you.

Both my children have attended Nursery on the Green. The eldest joined in 2016 and more recently my youngest in 2022. I cannot emphasise enough, how wonderful this nursery is. The staff are caring, professional and passionate about early childhood education. The environment at Nursery on the Green is
vibrant, stimulating and inviting. The indoor and outdoor spaces are clean, safe and well-arranged, giving the children the opportunity to play freely and explore different themed activities. You receive regular updates in person as well as via the parent app and the staff are always available to discuss questions. Thank you for giving my children a fantastic early education experience!

All 3 of my children attended this nursery. We visited so many nurseries in the area and near our workplaces and we knew Nursery on the Green was the one for us as soon as we entered. My 3rd child never needed to attend daycare but we still enrolled him into Nursery on the Green, after seeing the development
of his older siblings. All 3 of our children have excelled at this nursery. Their care has been absolutely amazing. They do so many interesting and engaging activities throughout the day and the staff are so friendly and warm. I really feel like all 3 children have had a bit of a head start when entering reception in primary school. They have grown in confidence, they are familiar with school practices like circle time are used to sharing their views in groups, and can recognise and blend sounds before leaving nursery. Also the food is healthy and fresh, and they have dealt with my child's allergies so meticulously. I highly recommend this nursery.

Nursery on the Green is outstanding! My son has attended since he was 11 months, the team are all so friendly and welcoming, they put both my husband and I at ease from the get-go. The communication and resources are excellent and the team so supportive. Any questions I have ever had, however small
or silly I might have thought them, have been met with helpful and thoughtful answers. Which as a first time parent and nursery user has taken so much anxiety and pressure off the experience. As if that wasn't enough my son loves it there and has gone from strength to strength in his development. He is now preparing to go to school and I know whilst it will be sad saying goodbye to Nursery on the Green he is ready thanks to the hard work and support the team have given us.

This is such an amazing nursery! My eldest attended from a year old until she was ready for reception, and she certainly thrived during her time with Nursery on the Green. My youngest is currently still attending, and she too, is thriving and growing into a bubbly, confident young girl; this is largely
because she's at such a lovely nursery. I never have a problem with bringing her each day; she loves it and goes running in happily. She's made solid friendships with her peers and the staff. I never have any concerns or worries leaving my child there for the whole day; I know she will be looked after by the excellent staff they have there.
Finding such a good nursery honestly is such a weight on a parent's mind, and I didn't even look anywhere else when I had my second daughter; my biggest worry was whether they had the space to take her!
Thank you, Nursery on the Green, for another year of looking after my daughter.

My daughter has been at this nursery since October 2022 and has loved it ever since. She eats well, sleeps well but also her confidence is really impressive. I find her very advanced for a 2-year-old and that's thanks to the key workers and how invested they are with the kids. My daughter comes home
singing and repeating what she's learned and it's rewarding but also reassuring as a working mum.

Initially we were never looking at this nursery, however based on a number of recommendations my husband and I went to see it and were pleasantly surprised at the size of the classrooms, outdoor area and the overall cleanliness. Everyone at Nursery on the Green is super friendly which made the transition
so much easier. Our little one absolutely loves it there and is continually learning. Highly recommend.

We are super happy with Nursery on the Green. Our son started aged 2 during the pandemic when restrictions were still in place. Nursery on the Green had loads of measures in place to keep the kids and staff safe. It took 2-3 months for our son to settle in and the team were great during this time. One
member of staff, in particular, was really invested in us and offered loads of advice, support and feedback. The staff are great, they love what they do and always put the children’s best interests first. They’ve created a wonderful environment.
We’ve had a great experience with Nursery on the Green over the past 2.5 years. Would recommend.

My children have attended this nursery spanning over nearly 7 years. We could not be happier with the dedication and care towards our children’s well-being and growth. All levels of staff and managers have always been easy to deal with and able to provide feedback or support when needed.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for over a year, and within that time frame the nursery has organised events, and opportunities for parents and family members to partake with her. All of which go towards a charitable cause.
The key workers and management have always kept an open dialogue
with us, in ensuring how our daughter is developing and focusing on any raised concerns. Management has proven to go above and beyond, they are organised and quick to respond.
The classrooms are set up to encourage children to explore different types of play, and having a sheltered outdoor play area is a real bonus. Without fail the team has shown a positive and warm attitude, my daughter has enjoyed their company and has gained so much confidence since joining.
Every level of the nursery team has proven to work hard together in providing a service which both parent and child can trust, and that every member has demonstrated their priority is for the well being of every child.

Nursery on the Green has been a wonderful place for our son to grow and develop. He was very anxious about nursery initially and took some time to settle but the key workers at the nursery gave him the time and care he needed to settle in.
He was slightly slower with forming full sentences but again
they focused on his needs and helped him every step of the way and now you would not think this was a concern for us.
He is very confident and has adapted very well.
Nursery on the Green is a great place for children to start their educational journey. All staff have been amazing from management to the key workers who are very hands on with the children.
