Nursery on the Green (near Heathrow)

After visiting 12 nurseries, we chose this one - and we couldn't be happier.

Manager Meera is passionate about child development, listens to feedback and acts on it quickly - setting the tone for the whole nursery. The entire team is warm and genuinely caring; we always feel welcomed at the door.

The purpose-built building, beautiful garden, indoor all-weather play area and exceptional cleanliness set it apart. The food quality and healthy menu choices are outstanding.

Classrooms are well-ventilated - even when chickenpox was present, our son didn't catch it.

Communication is excellent. Deputy manager Harpreet and business administrator Katarzyna are always responsive, efficient and incredibly helpful.

The thoughtful details make this place truly special: a piano in the corridor, cosy reading corners, small group learning - and at Easter, watching eggs hatch into chicks was magical for the children.

We feel so lucky. Highly recommend!

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 19 months and has really thrived in their settings. Settling the children in is not rushed and this includes when they move up a class. The staff are all absolutely amazing and genuinely know each child individually and are always happy for a catch up. The classroom settings are great and the children have a lovely outdoor space designated for each classroom. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone considering it in the local area.

We've had such a wonderful experience with Nursery on the Green. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's development. From day one, we felt reassured knowing our child was in a safe, nurturing, and happy environment.

The activities are engaging and well thought out, supporting both learning and creativity. Communication with parents is excellent, and the team always goes above and beyond.

The nursery setting is really the best I've seen among all nurseries I've viewed in Hounslow. The outdoor playing area is also one of the best. The nursery is super clean and very well maintained. The teachers, reception staff and the management are all lovely. My son loves this nursery. He never cried to go in there because the teachers always put him at ease and he always learnt something new every day. He has started to like reading only because of Miss Maria and her story telling skills. His personality has really developed at this nursery. NOG has a very welcoming and family vibe. Me & my son will definitely miss this nursery.

We found this nursery during lockdown for my son. At the time, we weren't able to go inside, but we could view the nursery from the decking area. I was instantly pleased to see that each class had its own covered decking area and garden, and I knew straight away it would be perfect for my son. He is now 4 and in school, and he still says he wants to go back to his nursery! He absolutely loved his time there. The nursery really supported his development and prepared him so well for school - he already knew his phonics sounds before he even started. The nursery goes above and beyond to get to know each child and their families. The activities they organise throughout the year allow parents to come in, see their children in their setting, and mix with other families, which is lovely. My daughter started last year when she was just 10 months old, and I felt completely confident leaving her in such a safe and caring environment. All the staff supported her with her transition. We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind, which makes it such a warm environment for both children and parents. Communication is excellent - we're always kept up to date through the portal.

Our daughter has so much fun each day with a wide range of engaging activities and has developed so much since she started just a month ago. Also, puts our mind at ease that she's been properly taken care of whilst we're at work.

The nursery provides a very safe and nurturing space, and we love how they celebrate different holidays and nationalities with special events. We'd 100% recommend this nursery to any parent!

The staff at NOG are wonderful-easy to communicate with and always maintaining an open line of communication with all the parents. My daughter had to return to work when my granddaughter was just 8 months old, and NOG has completely put her mind at ease. The settling-in period went very smoothly, and my granddaughter is really enjoying her time there!

I regularly engage with the friendly staff when I pick up my granddaughter and have built a great relationship with them. A big thank you to Rajwinder and the entire team for their unwavering love, support, and guidance. As my daughter is a first-time young mum, it's reassuring to know she can always turn to the staff for advice and support whenever needed.

I highly recommend NOG Southall for its meticulous care and development of the children, communication with parents, wonderful staff (reception and key workers) and just providing a "place like home" for my child. My son attended NOG from the age of 1 and "graduated" in Aug 25 and I truly felt that everyone at NOG Southall were part of the village that helped me raise my son. I think I was more emotional than my son when he left! I genuinely feel that they helped my son flourish into a confident, smart, caring and funny little man. I am forever grateful to the whole team!

From the very beginning, the team provided outstanding care and support, creating a warm and nurturing environment that helped our child flourish. The nursery's cleanliness and safety standards are excellent, and the continuity of staff has given our son stability and comfort throughout his time there. My son has been coming to NOG for two years now and I do not have a bad word to say about this Nursery. It has been great. My son has loved his time here. From the welcoming Reception team that know all of the kids' names and warmly say hello to each and everyone that comes through the door to the teaching staff. They are always very caring towards the children and actively take an interest when you speak to them. The Nursery is always clean and well-maintained, the decor is very calming. I recommend this Nursery!

We had a great experience with Nursery on the Green. Staff really cared for my daughter and encouraged her to play and try out new things. My daughter has gained more confidence since joining the nursery, she has made many friends and i have noticed an improvement in her vocabulary since she joined. I also liked how the nursery gave weekly updates to the parents which gave us an insight on what she is doing. I felt my daughter was safe and looked after attending this nursery and i would recommend to others.

Both of my children have been at Nursery On the Green and have had the best start to learning as a result of their exemplary learning standards. Both children have thrived in the environment, single handedly learned to be independent and developed impressive social skills. These are skills I can honestly say cannot be developed alone. The teams in each room treat all children as their own and provide honest developmental feedback at every opportunity.

Where there are areas of improvement the team collectively work towards ensuring the child meets these areas in both a supportive and encouraging manner.

I cannot recommend Nursery On the Green enough, it is an environment when you can have full confidence that your child will be cared for in a social, mental and physical capacity and will give your child the best start in their development.

My child's had 3 staff members as her key workers who've given her sincere care in my absence.

The progress we've seen in both of our boys-socially, emotionally, and developmentally-has been amazing. They've built such strong bonds with the staff and their peers, and we've always felt completely confident and reassured knowing they're in such capable hands.This nursery has genuinely set the bar so high for us. Even after moving to a new area, we couldn't find anything that came close in terms of quality and care. That's why we still make the 50-minute round trip every day-because it's worth every second to keep our children somewhere they feel so happy and supported.

I cannot sing the praises of Nursery on the Green enough! The care and love provided by the staff is truly exceptional. From the moment my child started, they were made to feel safe, happy, and nurtured.

The outdoor space is incredible and the facilities for the children are superb with a wide range of activities and resources.

But what really sets Nursery on the Green apart is the whole team.

The front office staff are always warm, welcoming, and efficient especially the manager who is always smiling and eager to help with any request - her expertise, and exceptional kindness shines through

As a parent, it's a huge comfort to know that my child is in such capable and caring hands. I've seen them grow and thrive in this wonderful environment, and I couldn't be more grateful.
