Excellent nursery. The daily activities are very educational and my daughter appears to be developing very well. The activities range from painting to familiarity with computers. The staff knows my daughter very well, and the managers are very involved in welfare. The staff keeps you informed of the day's events via the app throughout the day and gives a thorough handover upon collection. This includes any map times and food consumed. My daughter is extremely happy at this nursery and we are sending our youngest child there too.
Nothing ever seems too much trouble. I have seen both my children develop under their care.
Our little boy started at Bright Horizons aged 10months. He attends Full-time Monday - Friday. Since being at Bright Horizons, they have worked alongside us as parents to assist with helping him eat better, socialise and walk. We get weekly phone calls and work with his key worker to ensure we are doing the same work at home as at nursery. He’s come on so much and he’s happy. In the 6 weeks since attending he now eats everything and we don’t worry that he will be hungry or only want puréed food. He has learnt many songs and at home, he sits and shows us actions. He walks and talks all day. It’s been a pleasure watching him adapt and become more confident.
Her development has been immense and the team's attention to detail cannot be faulted. They have a vast amount of learning activities, great outside space and every day you receive an update with how your child is getting on.
This is a great stepping stone before school.
Where do I start! Both of my children have been at the nursery over the last year. My son started school in September and was fully prepared after the great job all the staff did with him. My daughter is still there as she is now 2. My little girl is thriving, she is so well looked after and just loves the girls in her room. She constantly talks about them at home and gets very excited to go in each day. I get regular updates from her key worker and I feel like I’m genuinely cared about. My husband has been on deployment with our military and they are very good at helping with any concerns I have. The ladies on the reception desk are always lovely, they always chat and ask how everyone is and if there’s anything we need. We get information every day on what the children have eaten and what they’ve been up to as well as a newsletter emailed out. I always feel comfortable enough to be able to ask questions and have input, which is very important. The communication is spot on.
I am really happy with this nursery and both my kids that attend always want to go. At one point my youngest child was only going 3 days a week, whereas my eldest was attending 4 days. On the day the youngest didn't go, when we used to drop the eldest she would cry when we left, as a result we up'ed the days to 4 for the youngest as well. This just shows how much she loves going to nursery.
Both my children have attended Bright Horizons @ RAF Northolt, with my youngest still attending. I have been extremely happy with the care they received and how they support them getting ready for school. The staff within the whole nursery are caring towards all children. They still make an effort, asking my eldest how his day at school was when we come to collect. The management team are always welcoming and willing to help if I have any queries regarding anything.
They genuinely care for the development of your child. The team from the baby room still ask how our oldest is doing and the managers know all of the children's names.
Both of our children enjoy their time there, which is a real comfort when we're working.
They often have several helpings of their meals (including dairy-free) and come home having learnt something new.
We have sent our son to Bright Horizons Nursery for the past 2.5 years and throughout we have been thoroughly impressed by the staff and everything that they do. Professional, caring and very competent. The team have never once given us cause for concern. The ultimate test is that our son has been happy throughout. The staff at the nursery are clearly a strong team. Please do not change a winning formula! Additionally, the catering team do an excellent job of producing a varied and nutritious menu. The building could be improved with air conditioning and/or sunshades. The Bluebells classroom gets extremely hot during the summer months.
My daughter has recently started this nursery and the staff and her key carer have been great at helping to settle her in. The settling sessions offered by the nursery are a fantastic starting point to help both our daughter and us as first-time parents. The staff are always available to answer any question we may have and we love her daily diary that tells us about her day at nursery. The menus are varied with an excellent range of meals that are freshly prepared daily. The activities are great and the outdoor space is amazing, especially as our little one loves being outdoors. She has been outside every day.
We haven't looked back. Our son is thriving and loving every minute there.
Couldn't recommend it more!
I was an anxious first time mother, and the staff in the baby room helped to settle both my son and myself.
Everyone makes you feel welcome and you can tell they all work great together as one big happy team!
Thank you to everyone who has made our families time at Bright Horizons so wonderful.
She is there full time, five days a week - and I'm pretty sure she enjoys it a lot. She seems so happy and excited every morning when we drop her off - and chatty and happy when we pick her up in the afternoon. The place is very welcoming and friendly - and you cannot fault their safety and security.
The personal attention all babies get is really nice and touching, and she bonded well with her key person and buddies. We both work full time with no family around to chip into childcare, so for us it vital that we know she's happy and enjoying her days while we are apart. They do so many exciting things - I don't think I could provide that much stimulation if we were at home together. The little ones seem to learn something new each day.
Overall, we are very happy with the nursery and love the staff.
Plenty of outdoor space is a real bonus and the kids get a lot of time outside.
Some change over of staff/key workers is inevitable and sad when it happened but my children have adapted well to any changes and soon settled with new staff. Good communication with parents.
A fantastic facility at RAF Northolt - brilliant for service families but also catering for civilians without losing the understanding of the difficult needs of service children and parents.
Our son joined Bright Horizons at 11 months old and we refer to them as his "work family". He loved it from the very beginning. The care given is outstanding not only from his key workers but all of them. In the baby room, they really encouraged him to what level he was comfortable and did lots of development activities which we also took on at home as he enjoyed them so much. He's now moved up to the 2-3 year room and continues to do well. One of the things we love is the nutrition of the meals which are made on site and the no pressure environment. Would highly recommend all aspects.
Extremely professional, they record info during the day. They print photos for you to take home and tell you all about their day and keep you up to date with development.
They really did love my children; they were kind, compassionate and really interested in them. It’s like a big family in there and you can really feel the positive vibes and team ethos. They really do love their job.
The facilities are second to none; you won’t find a nursery with a better outdoor space in London or more secure location.
We sadly had to leave after 6 months due to a job move but in those 6 months the impact made will stay with us all forever.
I could not be happier with Bright Horizons at RAF Northolt. The care and attention my little boy receives are wonderful and as a result, he is very happy. I had to return to work earlier than I had anticipated, so was nervous leaving my baby. However, the staff were great with my baby and with me. I love the weekly newsletters letting me know what will be happening the following week. The different foods and varying menus are fantastic and have expanded his already varied diet. The staff really do love my child. The garden/outdoor space is huge, far bigger than every other nursery I looked at. The number of different activities they do every day is impressive and as a result, I do not feel that I have to do messy play or sand pit play at home. Cannot fault this nursery.

Meet the Team (2)
Cassie began her early years journey in 2017 while studying Health and Social Care, completing a placement at one of the nurseries. After discovering her passion for early years, she decided to join Bright Horizons as an apprentice and has since supported branches in Maidenhead, Mount Vernon, Watford, and now Northolt.
Working across settings has been incredibly rewarding—supporting teams, nurturing educators, and helping children thrive. She is deeply committed to creating safe, enriching environments where every child feels valued and confident as they grow.
My name is Lauren, I have worked within Bright Horizons since 2010 I then joined RAF Northolt in 2015. I have been working in childcare for ten years; I have worked with ages from 3 months to 3 years. I have a level 3 NVQ in Childcare and Education.
I enjoy watching children grow and develop through the different activities that are provided; I enjoy supporting members of staff with their own growth and professional development, working together to provide the best opportunities for children and families that attend our nursery.
