The nursery at RAF Northolt is a purpose-built building offering bright and airy rooms. The nursery has a highly qualified and dedicated staff team that provides a fun and caring environment for children to nurture and develop.

Children learn through Unique Growing Programmes such as Growing Readers and Mathematicians. Physical activities are also an important part of a child’s day and the children engage in exercise through an Active Athletes programme. The nursery also offers extracurricular activities.

All meals are included in the nursery fees and are prepared onsite by the nursery cook. Meals are created using fresh ingredients and meet individual dietary requirements.

In addition, settling in sessions are provided free of charge enabling children to get to know their key worker and familiarise themselves with the nursery environment.

I cannot rave about Bright Horizons at RAF Northolt enough. The care they give my daughter is one in a million. Having had to return to work when she was 6 months old I was anxious as a first time mum but it was without doubt the best thing. She has fun every day, they work with me when she's not herself
e.g napping difficulties etc and regularly update us on the app and at the end of the day on what she's been up to.
Our key worker is beyond fantastic but when she's not in know whoever is with my daughter is caring and keeping her happy.
Being on a military base they are fantastic when you are no doubt solo parenting and checked in on me at the start just as much as they were my daughter.
We are absolutely delighted with Bright Horizons and could not ask for a better setting for our daughter who squeals with delight when she pulls up outside in her pram!

Great nursery.
Safe. Secure. Friendly and great development for my Son!
They offer great flexibility too. There have been a couple of occasions where work commitments have meant a late notice day change and they have always been able to meet the requirement.

I love Bright Horizons at RAF Northolt. The rooms are spacious and well designed with areas for sleeping, eating and playing including outdoor areas too. There are lots of toys, educational games and activities to mentally stimulate and entertain our daughter. The staff are attentive and caring. It
is clear that they are passionate about their job and care about the children. Our daughters confidence has grown and she has learnt lots of life skills. She has lots of meals with a wide variety of nutritious food. I also think its adorable when the children sit down around the table and eat together. They always look so happy and civilized.

We're extremely happy with the nursery, our child is always excited to go in, which says everything. The staff are fantastic: friendly, professional, and very informative about the day's activities. Any accidents are clearly communicated, and we're kept up to date with everything our child has been
involved in.
At the beginning there was a small administrative mix-up, but the manager handled it exceptionally well, proactive, solution-focused, and transparent throughout. It gave us a lot of confidence in the leadership of the setting.
The children benefit from a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities, and although we're not present at mealtimes, the food appears to be of good quality. One thing we particularly value is the consistency of staff, which helps create a stable and reassuring environment.
The nursery is always clean, the staff are polite, and security is clearly taken seriously with doors kept locked. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased.

My child has been here for 2 months now and everyone has been really supportive with settling her in. She seems to have made lots of friends and connections with her teachers. She has learnt a lot in her short time so far. I really enjoy seeing regular daily updates. She absolutely loves sports and
show and tell day which makes me really happy.
I enjoy hearing all about her day on our way home. It is a great reflection of her time spent at nursery. She implements a lot of things she learns from nursery at home such as tidying up and washing hands. She is really motivated to keep this up as she is encouraged and given stickers as a reward at nursery. Overall I feel she is happy therefore, this puts my mind as ease.
The staff are all super friendly and I like the management team as they make a great effort.

We have two daughters who go to Bright Horizons Northolt, and they absolutely thrive there. Both love going in each day: excited to see their friends. The Staff are kind and approachable to all. Our eldest has done over 2.5 years here now, in all three classes - and will undoubtedly miss it as she moves
off to school. It's the perfect environment for these early formative years, and we have seen our daughters come on leaps/bounds from their time here. Thank you.

Bright Horizons at RAF Northolt is a brilliant nursery. We have been with the nursery for nearly 6 years with our 6 and 2 year old girls.
The staff are amazing. Kind and caring with a deep understanding of the children in their care.
The activities are fun and engaging with a lot of time spend outside.
They have sports with an outside team that the children love and staff led team dedicated to protecting the environment, with tasks such as planting fruit and veg in the garden.
The gardens are big with a stage, mud kitchen and climbing slide as well as trikes and play equipment.
Inside, the rooms are well equipped and organised with both activity led learning such as tufty trays or free play including painting. My girls have loved the dressing up areas and discos!
The education side is great. My eldest left ready for school with confidence and good number/letter understanding.
We are extremely thankful to the team, it offers peace of mind knowing the children are receiving the best care and are very happy.

An excellent setting, my daughters absolutely loves her days here. The staff are so friendly, providing excellent support to children which is reassuring when working full time.
The menu is varied and my daughter has enjoyed all the options from 10 months.
The daily activities are also excellent and
ensure a balance of learning and fun. I love the regularly updates of what she is getting up to.
A really great nursery, highly recommended.

I have had over five years' experience with this nursery and they are part of the family. My kids have both thrived within the care of the staff - my sons have very different needs so this is particularly notable. They really get to know the families. Never had any major issues, and have been really
pleased with any response I get to questions. I've had a couple of job adjustments and management has always been accommodating, particularly when they've been short notice. In terms of rates, they are competitive compared to others in the area.

Since my daughter started the nursery, I witnessed a massive growth and development in her motor skills. She's become more independent in her daily tasks although there's more room for improvement. She's confident, vocal and smart. She also knows her alphabet and shapes.

I enrolled my daughter at Bright Horizons Nursery in Northolt, and I have been absolutely delighted with the experience. The staff at Bright Horizons are not only highly qualified professionals but also compassionate individuals who truly care about the well-being and development of each child. The
nursery places a strong emphasis on providing a stimulating environment, enabling children to explore, learn, and develop at their own pace. Communication with parents is superb. The nursery keeps me updated on my daughter's progress through regular reports and maintains an open and supportive dialogue. Knowing that I am actively involved in my daughter's development gives me great peace of mind. The facilities are modern, clean, and well-maintained. Safety is a top priority, demonstrated through secure entrances, vigilant supervision, and a strong focus on health and hygiene practices. I am confident that my daughter is in a secure and hygienic environment allowing her to thrive and grow.

Such a wonderful nursery, my boys absolutely love it here! They have great activities every day and the staff are so friendly and involved. They are a nut and egg-free nursery but are still mindful of my boys' allergies and I feel very comfortable with them there. I’ll be sad to see my boys leave for

My granddaughter has attended the nursery for the last 4 years and we have had the pleasure of seeing her grow into the confident little lady she is. She joined as a smiley 10 month old and in a couple of weeks she will be starting school with lots of questions and confident skip in her step.

We

love hearing her stories and seeing what she has done on the nursery app. She’s an active little thing and the large garden with a slide and mud kitchen is always a favourite, with muddy puddle jumping a favourite picture posted on the app. The recent addition of a stage has seen her singing and dancing with her friends, and also created the backdrop for the ‘sunflowers’ graduation.

She has made many friends and she often talks about her key person and the staff within the room. She tells us about the sports class and ‘star of the week’ and she has brought the class pet home for the weekend as well as the holiday bear joining us when we have been away.

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.600)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.600) out of 10 for Bright Horizons at RAF Northolt is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 13 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.7 out of 5 from 13 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.897 for Bright Horizons at RAF Northolt is calculated as follows: ( (139 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 155 Ratings = 4.897
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.703 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bright Horizons at RAF Northolt is based on 13 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.825
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 74 number of registered child places is 14.8. 13 Positive Reviews ÷ 14.8 = 0.878
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
