Crystal Palace Day Nursery

My daughter loves little Crystals Nursery. She has been there since she was 2, she is now leaving for school. The staff are so caring and as its a small nursery all the teachers know all the children, which really adds to the warm environment. We are really happy with our daughter's experience there.

We count ourselves as extremely fortunate to have this as our local nursery. The place feels really relaxed but everything runs like clockwork, not an easy task when you’re dealing with little kids all day. The staff are all friendly, caring and capable, both our children are very happy here and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

My son has been here for a year and a half and loves this nursery! The staff are so caring and wonderful. He didn’t settle immediately when he started but they made every effort to help him feel happy and secure in the nursery setting. He has now formed strong bonds with several of the staff and happily talks about his day and his peers when he comes home. I’d definitely recommend Little Crystals to anyone looking for childcare.

Our daughter, now four, has been going to Little Crystals nursery for almost two years. It is her second home. The staff are lovely and caring. The facilities are clean. She is filled with joy every morning she arrives and she is absolutely exhausted (in a good way) at the end of the day. She is a very social person! The nursery is small, but they make excellent use of the spaces, which are cleaned constantly; the conservatory is heated during winter and the garden is used throughout the day (we live across the road and hear the kids playing outside a lot). The safeguarding is excellent and staff take such care in knowing the children. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. We have been very lucky and will miss it when our daughter starts reception. She will miss her lovely teachers a lot.

The nursery itself is full of lovely toys and resources and the staff set up great learning throughout the day. Our daughter comes home having had a lot of fun and is very happy there.

Displays are well maintained. The food is excellent. I am so impressed with the range of food my son tries at nursery. The menu is varied. The cost of the provision is competitive for the area.

I have had 2 of my children attend this nursery and both improved with their speech and confidence. They provide love and care for my children and make sure it is a safe place for my kids also my daughter that still goes to the nursery always looks forward to nursery.

I have used this nursery for my daughter since she was 3 until she moved on to reception and now my son since he was 1 year old (now 22 months). Both children enjoy going to the nursery, are comfortable there and love the staff. My daughter commented regularly that it is like a family. The manager is fantastic and approachable and the staff are very caring. It is a very friendly atmosphere.

Every day there are a variety of exciting toys set out for the children to play with. Carers help children, catering to their individuality and personal needs. My daughter was desperate to learn to read. Her key worker took the time to sit and teach her, which really prepared her for her first year at school.

I would only mark the outdoor area as 'Good' as it is a small area with no grass. However, they have made the best of the space they have and children go outside regularly.

Overall I am very happy with this nursery and its staff.
