New Beckenham Day Nursery and Preschool is a former cricket pavilion that has been purposely renovated in order to provide a safe, cosy and fully resourced environment for children aged from three months to five years.

The stunning location means that children can have full and supervised use of the cricket pitch, together with their own large outdoor area, while the facility itself is spacious and comfortable.

Freshly prepared nutritious meals are cooked on-site by the nursery chef.

Our daughter has been part time at KU for two years now from the baby room though toddlers and now to pre-school and we continue to be very happy with our choice of nursery. The carers and managers are lovely and endlessly reassuring no matter what crops up, and we've been really pleased with the way
any issues have been dealt with. I've had occasion to observe a lot of the staff interacting with the children in recent months and I've been impressed by their energy, enthusiasm, patience and creativity. Staff turnover has been low which I think speaks for itself and something that I think is of particular importance in providing stability for the children. The key person system works well and our daughter has really bonded with her key carer. The location of the nursery is quite unique and it's great for the kids to have so much outdoor space. The recent addition of activities like football and jo jingles is a real bonus. Our 9 month old will be starting soon too and we have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to other parents.

Brilliant nursery with lots to do for all ages. Wide range of food and snacks available along with a 'breakfast bar' for the parents! Staff are friendly yet professional and offer different activities on a daily basis.

When we first viewed the nursery almost 2 years ago, the thing that struck me the most on both visits was that all the children appeared genuinely happy to be there. The staff and management are friendly, outgoing, caring and really adore the children in their charge. There are countless activities
for the children, including music and cooking, and even the baby room participates in them. The outdoor space is amazing and the children love all of the space. We are so pleased with Kidsunlimited and our daughter loves it there.

My daughter has been at nursery since babies and she is now in pre-school, she absolutely loves going to nursery. She loves running around and playing games outside, the nursery is lucky to have access to lots of outdoor space. The adults are all very welcoming and fun! Extra activities are also able
on certain days. My daughter really enjoys tennis, football and especially Jo Jingles!

Amie is the nursery manager at New Beckenham, having joined Bright Horizons in November 2019. With a career in nurseries dating back to 2007, she began as an unqualified nursery assistant and has since advanced to her current role. Along the way, Amie earned a degree in Early Years Education.


Passionate about working with children, she finds great fulfilment in supporting both children and their families.
