Happy Stars Day Nursery Ltd

Both of our children have attended Happy Stars Day Nursery. It is a wonderful nursery, with a well established team and great leadership. The care they’ve given our children is exemplary. Our younger child loves attending nursery, he has made lots of friends and enjoys the variety of activities. Our older son also loved it and we found that it prepared him well for starting school.

Excellent nursery. Been here a year. Periodical feedback with photographs and assessment of birth to five matter, also contribute to own observations which I've found useful as it helps over time os align home ad nursery is development. My daughter is being exposed to various cultures and caregivers which sets her up for development and progress in reception. Food is good, play is good. THank you Happy Stars.

We have been thrilled with our time at Happy Stars (almost 1 year). All of the carers are warm, patient and focused on the childrens well being. It's also great that most of them have been working there for years and are very invested in the nursery. The environment is happy and inviting and the outdoor space has lots of different areas and activities for the little ones to independently explore as well as play in together. The carers also take guidance from, and encourage, the children's interests and it is great to see the different ways that our son's speech, motor skills and interpersonal skills have developed from his time at Happy Stars. The other families that attend happy stars are also very kind and welcoming and we feel incredibly lucky to be sending our son there. There's nothing like seeing him excitedly run into the breakfast room in the morning and knowing that he feels comfortable, safe and welcomed in the environment!

My son has been at Happy Stars for 18 months. It is a fantastic nursery - excellent space/facilities (including outdoor space), and very caring and attentive staff. Feedback is regular (end of every day at pickup) and thorough and they are happy to discuss any issues with settling or behaviour/development in more detail if necessary. Food is plentiful and regular with a wide variety of nutrition and specific dietary requests are accommodated.

Our daughter started at Happy Stars 9 months ago and we could not be happier with the nursery. The staff are incredibly kind, caring, observant and thoughtful and clearly really care about the children. They have built a great relationship with our daughter - she goes off happily to staff every day and seems to love her time there. They were very supportive and reassuring during the initial settling in period. They do varied and creative activities and the children spend a lot of time playing in the garden. I would highly recommend Happy Stars.

Our experience overall has been excellent. Our daughter, and we, have been made to feel extremely welcome and comfortable. Everyone has been caring and attentive with incredible open lines of communication. We are particularly impressed by the team's responsiveness and clear, constructive, and regular feedback. Our daughter is extremely happy there. She is continually learning and is freely allowed to explore areas she is interested in. They also have the most wonderful cook who has opened up our daughter's taste buds with the variety of her delicious menus. We cannot recommend Happy Stars Day Nursery enough.

My daughter has been attending Happy Stars since she was 13-months-old and her last day will be on Monday as she starts big school on Tuesday. I can’t recommend this place enough. In the three years, my daughter has attended, she has flourished. The nursery has a family feel and I’m honestly gutted to be leaving as I love it as much as my daughter. There is so much to love about Happy Stars but highlights include the warm and caring staff, the fantastic chef, a big garden that is constantly updated to stimulate children’s interest and encourage activity and a huge focus on helping children become independent and self-motivated.

Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone!

Happy Stars Day Nursery is fantastic. My son is absolutely thriving under their brilliant care. His days are filled with creativity and adventure and his key worker and all of the staff are unfailingly supportive - of me too! They are there with advice and suggestions when asked and have constantly checked in throughout the pandemic. A really great bunch of people who have had such a positive impact on my son.

My eldest child attended the nursery a couple of years ago and my younger one is currently attending and very happy to be there. Kids learn to be independent, love storytime, busy with art, drawing and counting etc. I am impressed with all of the staffs' service providing child care, safety and home environment. I would highly recommend the nursery!

Happy Stars is a really warm, caring and stimulating environment with wonderful staff. We sent our eldest there aged 1 after hearing rave reviews from parents locally. It’s a small business rather than a chain and it feels so personal and non-corporate. The staff are brilliant and there’s real consistency of care. They plan loads of very creative activities and there’s a great (and constantly evolving) range of things for the kids to do. There’s excellent outdoor space and the whole set-up is really relaxed and engaging (free flow indoor/outdoor, with lots of different play stations). Our youngest started recently (aged one) and has settled in quickly and happily, despite being a lockdown baby. Her big sister recently moved onto school and had a smooth and happy transition, helped no doubt by her time at Happy Stars and the confidence, security, positivity, kindness and curiosity nurtured there. Overall, it’s a fantastic nursery and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

She even eats the meals I can't get her to do at home!

Lovely small nursery where all the children know each other and the staff. Lots of outside play ad child directed play. Range of different fun activities and really caring staff. Very low staff turnover - most have been there for both of my children. Staff are very proactive in getting new toys and equipment to keep the children stimulated. My children have both particularly liked being able to plant vegetables and watch them grow. Also fantastic being able to be involved in cooking and the responsibility for serving their own food. Excellent nursery.

All the staff at Happy Stars have been so supportive and professional, providing outstanding care for our child. I feel confident our child is not only enjoying their time at the nursery but learning key skills to help in their development. Happy Stars is such a happy place for the child and parents!

My son has attended Happy Stars since he was 1-year-old and I have been amazed by all the staff who work hard to create a wonderful and caring environment there. The staff are always so friendly, kind and show a real interest in the growth and development of all children. I am always surprised by the range of creative and educational activities that my son experiences at Happy Stars. My son loves attending this nursery and comes home in the evening happily telling me about what he did that day with his friends and his teachers. Happy Stars is a great nursery and I send him there knowing that he will be safe and well cared for. I highly recommend Happy Stars!

My daughter has had a lovely time at Happy Stars. The staff are very caring and she settled in well. It is great to see pictures of what she gets up to during the day. It has been so nice to have carers who genuinely care about the development and wellbeing of my child. The staff have been proactive in their care (such as asking if they should apply any creams for dry skin rather than waiting on the parent to ask) and have been supportive through childhood transitions such as welcoming a new family member. We are delighted with the nursery.

We’ve had our two daughters (entry ages 1 and 2) in this nursery. Both are extremely happy there and can’t wait to go there every morning. Teachers are lovely and the kids/parents all lovely. Nice and positive vibe about the place. Lovely management and investment in place to keep progressing and improving all the time. Staff has been there for a long time too so they’re a lovely team. Would highly recommend to anyone.
