Busy Bees Harlesden

My son joined Harlesden nursery in 2016 until he began primary school in 2019. My daughter then started at the nursery in 2019. Both my children have loved their time at the nursery. We have found the staff dedicated and kind. The building itself is kept to a high standard with regular improvement being made. The outdoor space is a huge bonus and is utilised well. The food is excellent and the kitchen kept noticeably immaculate. There are nurseries closer to our home but we are happy to travel a little further to attend here.

We have sent all three of our children to Busy Bees at Harlesden. We have always found it very welcoming and nurturing for our children. We initially chose it for its fantastic outside space and this had been brilliant both in summer and winter months. Our eldest is now in reception at school and was clearly well prepared for the adjustment to school. The staff are brilliant. Always very kind, caring and with a good sense of humour ready to handle all the challenges that looking after young children brings. I can not recommend it enough and our children are a testament to what a fantastic place it is.

I am very happy to have the opportunity to write a good review of this nursery. My daughter has now been going for a year here. The building is lovely, spacious and luminous and in every area there is a lovely garden for the different age groups. The staff are friendly, warm and professional. The turnover is kept to a minimum that I am glad of as my daughter gets quite attached to her carers. The building is kept clean and safe at all times. I think what really makes a difference is the way it’s managed in general. I feel there is a real warm care and intention to deliver a good service. As a single mum, of a single baby, it feels so good to have a nursery that feels like an extended family to ours.

My son joined this nursery following a transfer from another branch. Just as it was transferring to Busy Bees. It feels like a little family, very well kept. Staff are friendly and want the children to learn. My son has even been learning a bit of Spanish and they have helped him transition from potty training as well as getting ready for school.

We sent both our daughters to Busy Bees at Harlesden, one has just left to go to primary school and the other is still in attendance. The staff are particularly caring and developed excellent relationships with both our girls, making them feel safe and happy. Unlike most nurseries in the area, Busy Bees has a wonderful outdoor space which is well used for activities and play by the children. We are confident that our children are being stimulated and challenged by a range of activities, making friends and developing well in their care.

The staff are polite and pleasant. Children are settled and are happy whenever I enter or exit the building. Warm friendly atmosphere for parents and carers which makes the experience of leaving your child more easier.

I am happy with the care that is given.

My son has built relationships up with all staff members but there are 4 ladies that I know he has a really special bond with which is so lovely to see as it very nerve-wracking to leave your child, but every day he is so excited to go to nursery and that is so reassuring.

The nursery is now under new management and there have been some changes and it's all been for the better. They keep parents well informed with daily updates about your child and with monthly newsletters about the nursery.

My son is very very happy here so thank you to all the staff.

Also, the manager is wonderful. She's helpful, kind and patient at all times, always helping when possible. Overall, all the staff are fantastic, The nursery is kept clean, the group sizes are excellent and the location next to the park is stunning. What a great first experience of nursery life.

Staff are fantastic, my boys come home having learnt new things all the time, wonderful outdoor play area, lovely food/menu.

This is the second nursery my child has attended, having removed them from the first for inadequate care as I had lost my trust. However, this nursery has definitely restored my faith and my child loved it straight away and settled in so well. This is a fantastic nursery, the care my child has received is outstanding. The management and staff are brilliant and genuinely care about my child. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The nursery offers a lovely garden as my son is very active and enjoys the outdoors. Staff allow him to be independent when using the outdoor area. They allow him to pick his own activities along with creating new ones keeping him generously entertained all day.

My son started at this nursery just under 2 months ago and has settled in so well and he is so happy there. He literally jumps out of my arms and into his key worker's when we arrive and he is smiley when I pick him up too. His eating and sleeping have improved and he has become a lovely sociable 1-year-old.

Going to this nursery has been the best thing for him and his development. The food is great, he gets involved in loads of arts/crafts/sensory play and outdoor time. All the staff are very caring, comforting and loving towards him and I cannot recommend the nursery higher. I would recommend it to all local parents.

Amazing outdoor area - large play equipment.

Our boys love attending, Large varied meals. Feedback at parent/teacher meetings could be improved should be more specific about progress, needs and goals.

My baby has been going to this nursery since September 2016 when he was 18 months old. It's been absolutely amazing, the amazing staff, flexibility and average price for what they offer. My son enjoys being there and he has improved since attending this nursery. Very happy.
