This is a fantastic Nursery. My daughter has been attending since she was two years old and her speech and confidence has grown. She has made a lot of friends and has a good relationship with the teachers. They learn something new every day.

My son has attended this nursery since he was one and I remain very happy with the nursery as a whole. The staff are all lovely, extremely friendly and grounded. The level of care you expect your child to receive from a nursery is lived up to, I drop my son off completely at ease knowing he will be
very looked after.

My daughter attended the nursery a few years ago, my son started 2 months ago, it has amazing outdoor space and great activities and play spaces inside. It took him a while to settle in and especially during these challenging times I thought it would be hard. All the staff have been so lovely and helpful,
he comes out saying how much he had enjoyed his day. He has become a lot more independent, he is learning new skills and I know he is being well cared for.

My son has been attending Busy Bees since 2018 and we have seen a lot of managers come and go but I have to say, this is the best manager and team by far. The manager is caring and always has a big smile on her face when greeting the children and parents in the mornings. Staff are happy and there seems
to be such a warm environment. My son is very happy and loves coming to the nursery every day. It's such a good feeling nursery with such a beautiful outdoor space. The best team by far and thank you to all for taking such good loving care of my child.

With the current climate, I'm amazed by how the staff are so warm and caring towards the children and parents. My grandson has been attending Harlesden before he was a year old, it's like his second home. The manager and team always take time to speak to me making sure my whole family is ok. The best
team by far, can't thank them enough.

Since returning my son back to the nursery, he is enjoying coming to nursery. The staff are absolutely brilliant in helping him to settle back in. The manager has been absolutely fantastic and he loves seeing her in the morning. He has only been back a couple of weeks and he has learn so much and as
a parent, I am really pleased.

The staff team at Busy Bees Harlesden are wonderful. My daughter is now 3 and has been attending the nursery for 2 years. The staff team and current management go out of their way to make the children feel at home and to create a caring and fun environment. During lockdown, my daughter repeatedly told
me how much she missed nursery and is now delighted to be back with her friends doing fun activities. The garden, with treehouse and mud kitchen, is a particular favourite!

My three-year-old boy absolutely loves his time here. Every single teacher and management are so lovely and caring, the kids are happy and I can’t believe how much he learns every day. The set up is great, with an incredible outside space - perfect to burn off that three-year-old energy. I honestly
couldn’t recommend this nursery more, it’s been such a lovely constant in our son’s life.

My son joined this nursery following a transfer from another branch. Just as it was transferring to Busy Bees. It feels like a little family, very well kept. Staff are friendly and want the children to learn. My son has even been learning a bit of Spanish and they have helped him transition from potty
training as well as getting ready for school.

I am very happy to have the opportunity to write a good review of this nursery. My daughter has now been going for a year here. The building is lovely, spacious and luminous and in every area there is a lovely garden for the different age groups. The staff are friendly, warm and professional. The turnover
is kept to a minimum that I am glad of as my daughter gets quite attached to her carers. The building is kept clean and safe at all times. I think what really makes a difference is the way it’s managed in general. I feel there is a real warm care and intention to deliver a good service. As a single mum, of a single baby, it feels so good to have a nursery that feels like an extended family to ours.

We have sent all three of our children to Busy Bees at Harlesden. We have always found it very welcoming and nurturing for our children. We initially chose it for its fantastic outside space and this had been brilliant both in summer and winter months. Our eldest is now in reception at school and was
clearly well prepared for the adjustment to school. The staff are brilliant. Always very kind, caring and with a good sense of humour ready to handle all the challenges that looking after young children brings. I can not recommend it enough and our children are a testament to what a fantastic place it is.

My son joined Harlesden nursery in 2016 until he began primary school in 2019. My daughter then started at the nursery in 2019. Both my children have loved their time at the nursery. We have found the staff dedicated and kind. The building itself is kept to a high standard with regular improvement being
made. The outdoor space is a huge bonus and is utilised well. The food is excellent and the kitchen kept noticeably immaculate. There are nurseries closer to our home but we are happy to travel a little further to attend here.

The staff are so kind and thoughtful and really love the children. I feel my son is really safe there. We were particularly nervous about how he would fare there as he has special needs but the staff have worked really well to accommodate him and he loves it - lots of fun. Plus the garden is enormous
and so lush. Nice to know they are breathing in relatively clean air there.

I’m supposed to specify a specific time but my son has been at Busy Bees Harlesden since he was ten months old, he is now three years old. The nursery has been a wonderful part of my son’s life. The staff at the nursery are all extremely caring and engaged in the children’s learning path. My son has
made great friends and looks forward to each day and always has lots to tell me about his day when I pick him up. Another big reason I chose this nursery, is the outdoor space which is quite simply fantastic. It is huge for an inner London nursery and the kids have a wonderful time playing all year round.

My daughter is at this nursery since 9 months.
Always like all the managers, never had problems at all, with an exception of one (this lady almost got me taking my daughter from the nursery), I could see that the girls are not happy, with a lot of them leaving!
Since another manager moved to the nursery,
I could see the changes happening.
All the parents should write a review, when things are going in a fantastic way, not just when are wrong.
Is great to see how this manager manages to put happiness in the nursery.
Happy to see a particular staff member back and really impressed with the preschool.
Always feel welcome in the nursery, even when the manager can’t see me physically when opening the door, she makes sure to greet me, from her room, these small things make all the difference!
Thank you so much for making our life easier, being able to go to work knowing that my daughter is in good hands!
And always asking if I’m ok, or if I need something!
Thank you so much.

We sent both our daughters to Busy Bees at Harlesden, one has just left to go to primary school and the other is still in attendance. The staff are particularly caring and developed excellent relationships with both our girls, making them feel safe and happy. Unlike most nurseries in the area, Busy
Bees has a wonderful outdoor space which is well used for activities and play by the children. We are confident that our children are being stimulated and challenged by a range of activities, making friends and developing well in their care.

My son has been with the nursery since he was nine months. The care in the baby room has been great and moving on into the other rooms has been good as well. Feedback is given and as a mother, it makes me feel happy to know that he is happy at nursery and has had a great day.
The staff always take
note of his interest, which makes his face light up when the interest table has bugs and listening to him, extending his vocabulary to support his language development.
I am happy with the care that is given.

My son started at Treetops Harlesden back in October 2018, and I'm so happy that his dad and I choose this nursery. We knew when visiting for the first time that this is where we would like him to attend. The staff are welcoming and very friendly and their outside facilities are amazing.
My son has
built relationships up with all staff members but there are 4 ladies that I know he has a really special bond with which is so lovely to see as it very nerve-wracking to leave your child, but every day he is so excited to go to nursery and that is so reassuring.

The nursery is now under new management and there have been some changes and it's all been for the better. They keep parents well informed with daily updates about your child and with monthly newsletters about the nursery.

My son is very very happy here so thank you to all the staff.

Our son joined Treetops at 10 months old. Of course, we were anxious as he was so young. The staff at the nursery are absolutely amazing. Our son has been in the baby room but just moved to the toddler room and each room has just the right carers in it. One staff member stands out as exceptional. She
is so warm and loving with the babies as well as mindful and informative with us the parents.
Also, the manager is wonderful. She's helpful, kind and patient at all times, always helping when possible. Overall, all the staff are fantastic, The nursery is kept clean, the group sizes are excellent and the location next to the park is stunning. What a great first experience of nursery life.

Current Review Score: 9.2 (9.208)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.2 (9.208) out of 10 for Busy Bees Harlesden is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 8 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.4 out of 5 from 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.802 for Busy Bees Harlesden is calculated as follows: ( (78 Excellents x 5) + (17 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 96 Ratings = 4.802
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.406 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Harlesden is based on 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.8
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 66 number of registered child places is 13.2. 8 Positive Reviews ÷ 13.2 = 0.606
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
