Devonshire Day Nursery (Chiswick)

I am extremely impressed with the nursery carers at Bumblebees. All make a big effort to give my daughter all the attention, reassurance and encouragement to have a rewarding and fun filled day at nursery. I feel very confident leaving her in their care, knowing they will do their utmost to make her happy and enjoy her day whilst also developing important skills. My daughter is always happy to attend nursery knowing she will see her key worker or the other nursery staff who she loves playing with.

A professional and warm environment with a strong focus on safety, fun and learning. My daughter really enjoys going to nursery. The staff are all very warm and caring and I always leave feeling secure that my daughter is in safe and knowledgeable hands.

My daughter has attended Devonshire Day Nursery since June 2015. During this time she has been part of two levels of care. In each, a primary and secondary carer are allocated to each child. This is an excellent system as it has allowed my daughter to bond with all carers. The staff (both carers and manager) are very professional, engaging and taking much time to discuss individual children's needs. This has resulted in my daughter receiving excellent care. The facilities, learning opportunities and activities are of very high standards; the opportunity for children to develop in both learning and social skills is ever present, but it is the staff who make Devonshire Day Nursery a very good nursery. Their professionalism and commitment are a credit to them.

2) On boarding/settling in period could be better for parents- a call and refresh of what to expect would be helpful and explain what is expected would be appreciated.

We have a very positive experience with Devonshire Day Nursery. Everyday we are happy to drop off our kids. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Every single member of the staff are very caring and interested in our children's life.

Both of my children have attended the Devonshire. The level of care is fantastic. We always receive a warm welcome it's a "nursery day!" I have watched my children grow in confidence and each day they come home with skills and new ideas. The food is also fantastic! My daughter gets very upset if I pick her up early and she misses one of the tasty meals!!

The staff in Bumblebee room are fantastic, our daughter loves her time here and the staff are extremely caring and attentive. Were very happy with our daughters development over the last year.

It's great to see my son look forward to going to nursery, he loves his main care giver and talks about her on his way to nursery. The staff looking after the kids are great, our 2 boys have been through all the different departments based on age.

We transitioned from the US in Jan 2015 and Devonshire was the easiest part of the process. The staff gave us a lot of guidance on teething, potty training, child colds etc. As first time parents without our normal family support system, the nursery has been invaluable. We love it here and our daughter's development has flourished from her communication to her confidence.

Very caring approachable staff who seem genuinely pleased to look after the children. Good communication with parents.

I am really happy that my daughter attends this nursery. She enjoys her time here and I don't have any complaints at all.

Best experience you can expect. The kids learn so much, carers are gentle, nice, friendly and teach the kids so many things. The development of my kid would not have been so good if she would have stayed at home. I can't say enough how happy I am, having her at this nursery!

I've had a very good experience with this nursery with both my children. My daughter went for the months leading up to reception and my son has some since 9 months old. We've had our kids in all 4 rooms and been very happy with the carers and care. Very happy with our experience here over the past 2 years.

My daughter has settled well at Devonshire and enjoys going to Nursery, even asking to go at weekends. Overall the staff and care at Devonshire has been the best thing about this nursery. My daughter has formed very good relationships with her key workers, which is great to lack of space in Bumbles for 2-3 year olds who are energetic. The area is quite cramped and there is very little light available (natural light).It would be nice to see the nursery incorporate other activities into their schedules e.g. Yoga, ball co-ordination (intro to sports) etc. Other nurseries in the area provide this. It would be nice to see the children go on more regular outings to the park, shops and local area.

My two and a half year old son has been attending Devonshire Day Nursery since he was 8 months old. he has blossomed into a confident little boy, thanks to the outstanding and extremely warm care he has received from the care givers at the nursery. My child runs away from me when I come to pick him up as he's very happy at nursery. The care provided is outstanding and I feel my child is being nurtured to reach his full potential. I feel extremely fortunate that my son goes to Devonshire Day Nursery.

The nursery is supporting my son at an extremely high level, his special needs is taken care of very well. All practitioners are extremely likeable and they care about the children. We are very pleased with the support he has received in all 3 rooms he has attended so far.

- Overall, I feel the staff in Bumblees are more enthusiastic and give better feedback than in the Ladybirds room. I feel I know much more about what my son has been doing and his development that I did when he was in Ladybirds.

The staff are attentive to childrens individual needs and development areas and focus on their individual needs as well as encouraging group development. The facilities are small, but the most is made of the space to provide a stimulating environment for the children. Carers/teachers are very attentive, caring and provide excellent feedback daily. They are keen to gain most of both parents and children.

Everything is going really well for our son at the nursery. The staff are really good and attentive to the children.

Very caring staff, great detail given at the end of the day. Good variety of activities.
