The Early Years Practitioners at Coombe Day Nursery believe in offering the children the best educational, fun and caring start during their early years. The nursery provides educational equipment and activities to help further the children's learning and development (in accordance with the statutory framework, the Early Years Foundation Stage).

Coombe Day Nursery offers full day care with all-inclusive fees. These include well-balanced meals and snacks, which follow the healthy food and drink guidelines, additional classes, nappies, wipes, milks and more! Coombe Day Nursery offers a stimulating environment and supports the children in learning through their play.

These training skills are especially needed for the lovely outings the children go on! The children also enjoy a variety of small world play, natural material play, sensory play and focus activities (following all the EYFS areas of learning). Children also participate in external classes; music and drama, tennis, French class, yoga and other activities. These all contribute towards their fun learning environment. Richmond Park is also near the nursery, meaning regular woodland trips.

Practitioners understand that health and safety and safeguarding is paramount when caring for the children. All practitioners are first aid trained, safeguarding trained and food and hygiene trained.

Our daughter loves running into the baby room and giving the staff there a cuddle. She also comes home and says new words that we haven't said to her (i.e. she is learning at nursery). What more does a parent want? Huge shout out to the staff in the baby room.

It's a lovely nursery with caring staff, great learning resources and activities. We have two children who attended the nursery and both love it. The outside space is small but kids go out on trips to the park and playground.

This nursery is a great combination of caring, creativity and kindness. Each day is filled with activities like yoga, teddy tennis and Zumba to name but three - not to mention Mandarin! You get the impression that the kids are taught life lessons, like politeness and consideration, with gentle guidance.
I cannot recommend the place highly enough.

I would highly recommend Coombe Day Nursery. My eldest has been going since she was 11 months and will stay there until she goes to school in September and my youngest has also recently started at 11 months. The staff are very caring, engaged and dedicated. Both children have been really happy there
and I'm so glad we chose to send them to Coombe Day Nursery. The staff form strong bonds with the children because they are very loving and create a nurturing environment. They provide fantastic activities and the children always seem to be doing fun and creative things. My eldest also really enjoys Zumba and yoga! I'm very happy with how my eldest is learning in the preschool room and I feel that she is well set up for when she starts school in September. The nursery has also dealt well during the pandemic which has obviously been an extremely difficult situation.

I would recommend Coombe Day Nursery wholeheartedly and without hesitation. The fantastic staff, setting and ethos of the nursery are all exactly what any parent could wish for: you know with full confidence when you drop off your children that they will spend their days surrounded by a loving, enthusiastic
and highly competent team who are truly engaged and interested in their individual development and wellbeing. They are stimulated with a huge range of activities, supported to learn at their own pace and helped to socialise well with their peers and the nursery team. It’s obvious that all the staff love the children and really want to be there, and they have all gone far above and beyond during the pandemic to ensure the environment is safe while being able to keep as many children at nursery as possible. The team are always responsive and keen for feedback to improve the experience they provide. Quite simply a wonderful place for children to learn and play.

Excellent nursery that our son clearly loves as he runs in each time. Our son only attends two days a week but all the staff make an effort to get to know him and he’s very much included in his room. The staff are very caring but also offer pragmatic care when it comes to coughs, colds and sniffles,
they do their best to keep children in their care without calling parents to pick up unless really necessary. Staff also really listen and make an effort to support any learning or routines which are happening at home such as nap routines or potty training.
The recent trips to the park or a local shop are fantastic for getting the children outside which we really value, in addition to activities such as tennis and Zumba which offer alternative experiences that we don’t do at home! Keep up the good work!

My son loves going to Coombe Day Nursery. We have never had a problem getting him to go in, he talks warmly about the practitioners who work with him, he is very proud of the things he does there and has progressed in his time there. As a parent, I find the staff very supportive and engaged with the
children. Over recent weeks they have had to go through the potty training process with us which has not been easy but have been very encouraging over our son and of us.

My son has been really happy at Coombe Day Nursery and settled in very quickly when he started aged two and a half. We (and he) feel very supported and the staff are friendly and caring. We are really impressed with this nursery. The children are so happy here, they've made great friends and always bond with the room leader. We've had excellent experiences with the room leaders.
The nursery manager is why we chose the nursery and she's been incredible since day one. She's very approachable

Coombe Day Nursery is simply the best. I am unable to use specific names here, according to the rules, but it's fair to say that everyone, from the management to the room practitioners, to the cleaner and the chef are outstanding. The thing that runs through this nursery is energy, enthusiasm (which
you can feel when you hand over/pick up your kids - and is so reassuring if your kid is slightly off-colour or being a pain, or you're leaving them for the first time), fun and professionalism. Everyone is so easy to talk to, the passion is obvious and you can see they are totally driven by the learning environment for the children and passing that on to the parents/carers.
The place feels like a real community and the only things that saddens me are that we haven't been able to socialise properly during the pandemic and that my daughter will be leaving next year. I will be very, very sad to leave these guys behind. Thank you, everyone!

To say we are happy with Coombe Day Nursery would be an understatement. We are so lucky to have found this wonderful nursery. Our daughter has been there since 6-months-old and is now 3-years-old and attends four days a week. She absolutely loves going there, has made loads of friends and loves the
staff. Her experience is the same as all the other children we know who attend.
They have lots of different activities and challenge the children to learn. Our daughter and her peers have excellent vocabularies for their ages, understand words in different languages and can do simple maths at 3.
It’s simply a lovely, happy place with great staff who love the children and excellent management.
